Guys just checking in.
There will be a mobile (staking wallet) coming in the next couple of weeks alongside a new roadmap, after that I'll be handing over the main part of the project entirely to x11joe. i.e I will be stepping down as lead developer of this project and x11joe will take that role.
His vision for where xCash can go is greater than the one I started with and he want's to do something that is outside my realm of experience (making an entirely new codebase). Considering everything that I have done for this coin so far and because of the market conditions it does not feel correct to continue down the same path for little to no results.
The tech needed to make xCash into something special is more than I thought and it's also more than I can contribute at this time.
Therefore, it's probably best to allow somebody else to move forward in an entirely new direction so xCash does not get stuck in a rut to the point it simply dies.
I will still be on the team am making way for somebody else to take the coin in a new / fresh direction.
I hope everybody is ok with the decision to try something radical in an effort to breath some much needed life into xCash.

Made some fixes to xChange / xBot and the market listings are displaying as they should be.
The markets can be created in wallet via the xChange OTC tab and you can see them working by in #xcash
For commands simply type !xbot in the IRC.
I am currently working towards a mobile PoS wallet and will update again soon with a revised roadmap.

Did the dev fix the problem of people getting locked out of their accounts? The vTorrent Dev used xCash for his wallet and now some vTorrent users have had the same prob.
Is there any more info to show where people have been locked out of their accounts?

x11joe is busy making the market atm.
He checked in about 1 hour ago to say he's currently working right on "reading" from database and "identifying" transactions.
When he has reached a milestone he'll post the update here with a full explanation of what has been achieved as well as how much is left to do.
For now, instead of posting on the forum and getting sidetracked he has insisted he just wants to keep his head down programming.
I will ask for some more screen shots and dev vids when possible.

So, I've been using this wallet unlocking and staking with no problems. So I launch xCash this morning and put go to unlock the wallet for staking and it says... 'The passphrase entered for the wallet decryption was incorrect' So I guess now I'm locked out of my coins. I tried using a backup wallet and it does the same.
Try typing your password in notepad to see if you are not making any caps lock errors or adding spaces etc. Make sure the language settings on your pc haven't changed as they can alter your text outputs / keyboard layout sometimes minimally.

x11joe has provided myself and the rest of the dev team some technical diagrams along with his working schedule / timetable and assured us he's doing his best to meet those times.
He is currently working on the UI for xMarket and said that he'll post an update directly related to it as soon as he has something to show off.

The xCash community manager is JonesD
He's now in close communication with the development team and will help relay updates in a more frequent manner.
Any questions related to the coin can be directed to him.

Today I will appoint a community manager.
Just working out the details atm.

Hey Johnny...... Another week past since one of your last short messages here..... More people get worried (have been in contact with some)....
I think we can evaluate that your way of keeping silence and just releasing isn't working at all. Price went down dramatically again...... You launched a nice feature (decentralized exchange), but I doubt if anyone used it.
My opinion is that something needs to be changed to make XCash to a succes. What is your plan or what can we expect in the future? As this isn't working, you are creating a lot of bagholders who will jump out as soon as they are break even.
Some people have invested heavily (like me), maybe we can help? If we can't help, pls understand that current sentiment is not good...... I am not talking about hyping XCash, but building a community, communication with dev or communitymanager or whatever...
I hope that you are open for a debate about it.
Hey Edraket31, I've been busy working on a project for this coin and we also have a second dev that will introduce himself later today. He would like to be more active with the community than I have been which as you say could only ameliorate the situation. I will try to get on more and get some community engagement going as it does indeed seem to be a big factor in a coins success.

I can confirm that after some discussions with Dan Metcalf we are being added to The Blocknet. For full info about Blocknet check the thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.0A collaboration with the participating coins could lead to some mutually exciting new developments not limited to xChange.

You need to delete the xchangeOtcDB and xhubDB folders in your XCash data directory, and rename and enable your xhubs. Disabled xhubs won't show in the UI anymore.
Don't forget to do this! You can find the xcash folder by searching for %appdata% in Windows. Great update! Have sent bail to my bail wallet, but it is not recognized so I cannot activate the Xhub. If you click enable your xHub should activate.

As agreed I'll drop some info on the next two projects I'm working on whilst keeping something closely guarded for now.
The reason for not divulging everything at once (other than creating false hype and unnecessary pressure on myself) is that one of the projects is enormously complicated and to be honest I don't know how long it is going to take without diving in.
Anyway, the next two things I feel free to say as I'm pretty confident that both myself and second dev can pull them off in a reasonable time frame, they are as follows.
As soon as I've finished my bug fixing for xChange I'm switching onto project 2 which is to be called xAffiliates.
This week I'll layout plans for xAffilates so you can see in greater detail what it's all about but in short it's intended to be a system to rival some of the best affiliate management and tracking services on the market today.
Why put it in xCash?
Well...
I feel that there is a niche that has not been addressed yet in the cryptocurrency sector, one that Crypto it is perfectly adapted for and that is affiliate marketing!
What do affiliate marketers want?
No recharges - check Low to no fees - check Total freedom to sell whatever they like products - check
With xAffilates I want to provide them with a Clickbank alternative for selling internet based products and who knows perhaps the guys on Warrior Forum will take an interest in it, no need for 3rd party payment processors... sound interesting?
Then the second developer is taking on Project 3, it's designed to be built alongside Project 2 to make it more appealing to the guys that could be using it as well as for many other reasons to help progress accessibility of the coin. It's called xATM.
xATM is going to be a fully fledged ATM machine. We're going to custom build the whole thing using android and QT for the interface, it will serve as a demonstration model and the software will be open source so that anybody can buy some parts and put together their own xCash xATM.
Right now we are still specifying the final features but I can confirm it'll take cash deposits.
To begin with whilst making this coin I really didn't want to release info before I'd finished building but... what the hell. Those are the next two projects that you can expect to see in xCash.

Announcement it is then.
I'll get it prepared.

Bug fixing xChange atm and introducing a new component.
Next week I may even let you guys know about the next major project.
I got 2 major developments in mind, but the preference is to build them first and release instead of pre-announcing.
However, I'm prepared to listen to everyone else's opinion so here are two options.
1: Announcement about the next project I'm working on before it actually comes.
2: Keep quiet until built and then release.
Let me know and I'll consider it.
