You can change the unit being displayed in the settings of Electrum.
Go to Tools -> Preferences -> Appearance (on the tabs) -> Base Unit
Change that to BTC

Can you post the link to the transaction?
From what you are saying it seems like there is a 'problem' with the wallet and not the transaction itself. You mention that the receiving address you used does not appear in the wallet. If that is the case then you have the wrong wallet open or you perhaps used the wrong address or an address from another wallet.
Is there perhaps another wallet file on your pc? If so open it and see if the funds did not perhaps go to that wallet. Check is the receiving address is in that wallet.
Only other thing I can think of to do is to delete the wallet file (ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE BACKUP SEED) and to restore it again to see if that perhaps work.
Not sure whether Tails might have something to do with it, have not worked with it before.

I have downloaded this wallet for LTC and see my coins. I want to sent a part of them, but i get always : 'Non type'object has no attibute'_getitem_'
What does this mean. How can i sent coins? Can someone help me?
There's no support for alt coins. I think he is speaking of the LTC version of Electrum. If so then try and download the latest version, you can get it here https://electrum-ltc.org/download/In regards to alt coins, you can try Encompass which is based on Electrum and supports several different alt coins. There is a new version out at present (0.6.0) but its only a RC1 version so still early days but if you have some alt coins then Encompass is highly recommended. You can find Encompass on GitHub at https://github.com/mazaclub/encompass/releases

Is it a must to have the whole blockchain on your pc? If not then maybe consider Electrum LTC, you can be up and running in a matter of minutes. Latest downloads can be found here https://electrum-ltc.org/download/

When you send funds/bitcoin they are sent from the address or addresses on which the coins reside.
Example:
Address A has a balance of 1 bitcoin Address B has a balance of 0.5 bitcoin Address C has a zero balance
If you want to send say 1.2 btc then both address A and B will be used. Address C will not be used as there is no funds on that address. So the 'send' address will depend on which address or addresses have funds on them at the time as well as on the amount you are sending.
A sending address can be used more than once as it will be used until the balance is zero. If you send funds to that same address again then it will be used again as a 'send' address.

Why dont new versions in windows support trezor?!?! =( That seems backwards.....
The latest version does support Trezor. There was a problem initially but it was sorted out so all the latest versions now support Trezor. You can get the latest builds from here: https://download.electrum.org/Check the 2.5.4 folder for the latest releases

Electrum already offers you a selection of about 15 exchanges you can use together with the Exchange rate plugin.
Just go to the settings of the plugin and change it to the exchange you prefer. Note, not all of them offer historical prices.

The PM's I received in regards to the deletions was from 'Bitcoin Forum' and under that name the word 'Guest' That's possible, but what did the message itself say? If it got deleted from a self-moderated thread it would contain the following: " A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by the starter of a self-moderated topic.". Two of my posts were deleted by chmod755 today, even though he quoted and responded to one of them. Oh well, I don't care about that. It's his thread.
Anyway, my bot only nukes newbies (as it can't nuke anything else) and it doesn't remove individual posts. EDIT: I'll remove this post sometime tomorrow as I don't want this thread in my "Show new replies to your posts"-list. Yes same message, so guess thats that then. Little use belonging to a sig campaign if your posts get deleted even though they are not spam or anything close to it. Will also delete my posts here tomorrow as its not related to this thread. Marco, You can remove me from this campaign, as stated, little use to belong to a signature campaign [and possibly this forum] if 40 odd of your posts just get deleted by random. Thanks for the 9 odd weeks I could be on the campaign and for the payments which were always on time and correct.

They're all self moderated threads and I think chmod opens most of the threads in the press section. I guess he's cleaning things up. Nothing to do with bots or mods.
Might be. RustyNomad, can you have a look at the "Post deletion" message? It states who has deleted the posts, there. The PM's I received in regards to the deletions was from 'Bitcoin Forum' and under that name the word 'Guest'

Anybody else have any of their posts deleted?
As posted earlier, I had 18 posts from the press section that had to be paid. Now all of a sudden all my posts in the press section is being deleted. So far over 30 have been deleted in the past 20 odd minutes.....
You might have repeated something that was already said by someone else. In any case, care to share the posts being deleted, it might help if we know the quality of the post. My post quality is over 95%+. Always on topic and relevant and no, no repeats and no spam and or one liners etc... Some of the posts being deleted are more than a month old already. So far almost 40 have been deleted and they are being deleted within seconds from one another so almost looks like a bot is doing it and not a person. My first thought was that the Bit-X bot might have something to do with it but not sure.

Not sure whether this has anything to do with this signature campaign but I still had 18 posts from the Press section that had to be paid. I have just started receiving PM's about messages I posted that have been deleted. So far about ten of them and they are still coming. So either something went titsup on this forum or somebody is busy deleting my posts. Edit: 18 posts deleted ? Total of 20 23 28 35 posts deleted, so far....

Something weird happened now. In some mysterious way the btc I sent to Electrum got back to where I sent them from... I shall try to re-send them to my Electrum wallet again. Was it not maybe 'pending' and rejected due to a fee that was too low? You can try again but make sure that you include a fee appropriate to the transactions otherwise it might get stuck as 'pending' again, if that was the problem.

Can you post a link to the transaction on Blockchain.info?

Popular bitcoin wallet Coinbase has come out with the first bitcoin debit card, the Shift Card. It basically acts like any other Visa debit card, but with the ability to use bitcoin without having to turn it into cash. The question now is whether this will be enough to make the niche cryptocurrency popular with everyone.
Clearly the writer have never heard of Xapo and or Bit-X and not even mentioning the other preloaded cards like e-coin and the like.

This is a good thing. The sooner we have a 'private blockchain' that goes up in smoke the better.
That will make the rest sit back and rethink this whole 'private blockchain' thing. So let them play with their glorified blockchains all they want and let them get as many involved as possible, the more that get burnt the better.

Yes the latest version (0.6.0 rc 1) does look very nice and very promising.
I think we should see a stable release in the near future and that should have support for all the hardware wallets, I think/hope. This latest release does show Trezor as an option but it does not seem to work properly yet. I see this has already been reported on GitHub.
