Just saw this on twitter, not sure what this means for Black Halo.
......Very disappointing.....
Well, that depends on how you look at things. The truth of the matter is that all crypto is suffering from a profound lack of fresh capital - added to that you have the fragmentation caused by 1000's of alt coins struggling to grab their own piece of the pie... so everything just goes down over time.
I look at this as more a case of "anything that might bring in more capital is a good thing" - yes, even if it's not coming into BC directly. When rat4 helped other coins pull their heads out of their asses code-wise... it ultimately helped BC. I'm talking long-term, naturally. If David's efforts with Bryce wind up helping RZR... you can think of this as either a betrayal against BC, or you can think of it as further marketing for Bit/BlackHalo - and validation that yet another dev that's closely involved and personally committed to the BC cause... is truly a great asset!
If we get to the point where donations to the devs are equal to a six-figure salary... then by all means we can start demanding (via smart-contracts even

) that they adhere to non-compete clauses! As it is, all the BC I've donated to David (and that wasn't a small amount really) were probably used up on coffee and incidental expenses as he tirelessly worked to get BlackHalo into people's hands.
About the only thing I find "disappointing" about the tweet is that Bryce
conveniently left out mention of BlackHalo - only mentioning the BitHalo variant... but I can understand that based solely on the responses here about David being involved in anything other than BC at all.

This has been clarified by Grit when he talked with David on IRC. David is quite upset about that tweet and cannot seem to handle how to approach it. He has been developing solely for Blackcoin, Blackhalo/Bithalo. I guess, David himself can clarify this things here.
