1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin eliminate local banks? on: August 02, 2025, 09:11:21 PM
To be fair the user didn't say a stable coin, but as a stable currency. Bitcoin is not stable enough to use it for some purposes, but that is to be expected when its value is massively appreciating. One day this may change.
It is not stable. Whatever you want to call it, it is still not a stable currency or coin.
1 Bitcoin is 1 BTC.

Go back to the white of Bitcoin. That's the answer. Now. Don't wait until tomorrow to read it.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin eliminate local banks? on: August 02, 2025, 08:30:06 PM
Some dude asked me if Bitcoin could eliminate local banks, I thought of it,
I told him that no
As an alternative currency for the foreseeable future, that's enough.

From my own point of view, banks have alot to give more than just money transfers, they offer loans and mortgage, business banking services, costumer service and dispute resolution. So this banks are really doing a good job and I don't think they can be eliminated soon.
They also provide interest to the government and other benefits that keep them protected for as long as the country exists.
Banks are doing well for them. They try to be good to their customers, but there are many customers who are not satisfied for some reason.

Bitcoin is not widely used for dally payments yet, so volatile prices makes it difficult to use as a stable currency
Bitcoin is not a stable coin.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the field of bitcoin on: July 30, 2025, 08:37:50 PM
In our field if you can make long term predictions then you wouldn't call it volatile really, because you can predict what it is going to do exactly from a couple to a year up front sometimes even years up front. It only looks volatile to people who aren't sure what they are doing.
Unfortunately, predictions can be made by anyone but predictions are uncertain. Volatility can be said not to be a picture of someone being able to make predictions based on data and various events because volatility is only a measure of what is called price fluctuations in the crypto market.

$150,000 is the price I predicted because it is not that far away from the current ATH. It's not definitive, but it's an idea that I can make predictions.

how much money they are going to spend this transfer's market?
I guess better for them

Premier league is near 2bilions € spend while the others league are at max 600m€.
Liverpool have spent transfer fees for several well-known players who have been targeted by other teams as well such as Friempong, Wirtz, Ekitike and now officially belong to Liverpool. Not including the next target, Isak.
This is the first time Liverpool has done such a thing but it has become the talk of many people.

I think that if we combaine Serie A, Germany, Spain and France we dont reach the amount of money spent from Premier alone.
This is true.
Teams from the English Premier League are known to be willing to spend a lot in transfer matters compared to teams from other leagues. Please understand, the Premier League is the most competitive league on all sides including transfers. Wink

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let discuss our experiences in Bitcointalk and in cryptocurrency on: July 22, 2025, 08:06:16 PM
I knew about this forum in a difficult moment in my life (I quitted my job and I was quite lost), and it turned out to be like an oasis in the desert. I rapidly understood the potential of Bitcoin, and although I had no money to invest, a few bounties and translations ended up being essential to get out of the rut in my personal finances and not miss the train of Bitcoin either -although many think that the train hasn't left yet.

I can never be grateful enough to Satoshi for 1. inventing Bitcoin and 2. creating this wonderful forum. Not as grateful as those who got rich because they jumped on the wandvagon earlier, perhaps, but still ^^
Represented what I experienced myself.

This forum is another way Satoshi is helping people be saved from thirst by the heat. It is like a university without having to pay money to gain knowledge from what is taught in the room so as to know what to do.

Bitcoin and forums. Bitcoin is the currency system and the forum is the place to discuss to make up for the shortcomings.
Such a noble legacy to keep.

Sometimes we have to see a person's mentality as someone who has the opportunity to change their circumstances. Rich people have a strong mentality for starting something new, while poor people often have high levels of fear, preventing them from making risky decisions like investing.
Everyone has desires, but they stop at action. Do you believe that?
Mentality is not enough if action is not taking place because to mobilize mentality requires positive energy that is born from a healthy and intelligent mind. Usually, people ready with all that know what to do. They are even ready to rebel with their own mind. They are ready to plan with more than one scenario.
I repeat, few are ready to act.

Each scam accusation here on bitcointalk will show how trust worthy a casino can be based on how they respnd and how much they are willing to resolve the matter if there's any mistake on the casino side, no one can be 100% perfect all the time.
We have observed this as long as we have been active on the forum. There are quick responses and there are other ways of responding. As long as it is the fault of the casino, the casino through its representatives will be resolved.
Yes. Nothing can be 100% perfect because it's a human system.

Above my post or on the second page after your post that I quoted, there is already an example.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.Game - Casino & Sportsbook | Leicester City FC 🦊🦊🦊 on: July 19, 2025, 08:23:20 PM
Paid attack is not worth it anymore due to top competition since there’s no guarantee that customers will come to them after successfully destroying other casino reputation.

Most of this negative opinion are actual experience or someone that being bust for abusing ToS that wants to revenge on the casino.

Well the paid attack on the reputation of the casino works differently. The casino may hire a team of social media influencers to start a campaign against the casino. On a small scale, a casino may hire few accounts here to place false scam accusation against the competitor casino.
Agreed.
I doubt that a paid attack to bring down the reputation of a large casino that already has a level of trust from its users will work.
We are well aware of how the system is built. I'll just give an example of this casino since I'm here.

BC.Game has active users who have enjoyed the many advantages of the casino so that the second-to-none convenience has been and continues to be felt, of course its active users will not be affected by paid attacks and the great thing is, its active users can actually know that something is being attempted to bring down the reputation of their favorite casino. It may not fall, but it will get stronger.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin just for the rich? on: July 19, 2025, 08:06:16 PM
Of course bitcoin is only for the rich (the rich in thought) not for those who are poor.
Poor minds will avoid the future because the future for them is uncertain. Poor but rich is different from rich but poor.
They realize that something that most people consider impossible will lead them to financial freedom.

This kind of thing should not be debated, the thinking of the rich will definitely buy bitcoin, those who are poor will continue to accumulate their FIAT until they are not aware of why they are still poor until now. LOL
Not only Bitcoin, but they will continue to expand themselves outside of Bitcoin so that Bitcoin remains untouchable as a long-term asset.

18  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has a new ATH and I'm FOMO. What about you? on: July 15, 2025, 07:05:14 PM
I'd like to get your opinion on the market right now:
  • Do you think FOMO is back in the market?
It can't be confirmed. If Bitcoin owners who want to sell when the price is rising because they are afraid they will miss out on getting profits through price returns, I think it exists even though the selling price they do is not the ATH price of Bitcoin recorded at $123K.

  • Do you plan to buy or sell BTC?
For now, maybe the buying plan is not good for me to do because I still think the market price is still in an upward trend even though the price is no longer above $120K. The most likely thing is to hold the remaining Bitcoin at the moment while waiting for the peak which I predict at $150K this year if I refer to the multiplication by the halving price.

  • What do you think will be the ATH BTC can reach this season in USD?
After $123K, I don't know how many more times it will happen because the market hasn't lost its volatility.

My guess is that almost 90% of the bettors lost and 90% of the analysis about PSG was wrong. 1 of the many who were wrong in predicting this final match was me.
Almost everyone here before the game started or before Chelsea's 3 goals still speculated that Chelsea would be the team that PSG would make a goal party.

One word on the interim result, Chelsea silenced all the big mouths that had spoken.

Palmer was a nightmare for PSG.
Although there is still a game left, I want to say, game over.
