Some people may see it as begging any rich people that may be reading this for a bitcoin. On deciding to give money away, most wealthy people would probably rather help a good cause!

it's not up for anyone to decide but themselves. What it shows is the creation of another successful asset on the Counterparty network, and its partially humorous nature may attract some much needed attention.
The point of the blockchain is to be tamper and censorship-resistant, so it is really kind of ironic for information about our asset to be removed.
