.... you feel i cheated you or what? i dont understand how primedice can be provably fair and pvp not, it is clear that they use the same system.

This confuses me too?!

"To create roll numbers for PVP, the same process described above is used with a minor change. The server seed is your seed and the opponents seed is the client seed."

This means that if the last person is the house, they could cheat. Because they know already the opponent's seed and could generate an own seed that have a favorable outcome. My guess is that you couldn't be cheated if you are last to act and already see the HASH of the opponent's seed (is that possible? or you never see any hash?)

Either way, I personally do not think PD cheats. But it is right to say PVP is not really provably fair. I personally don't know a real solution to it.

i am reasonably confident that both of us were challenging and accepting during our betting sessions, so I was not consistently last to act. I did not consider this possibility. How would an oponent be able to see what seed i have set? even in theory?

paste the bet id on chat and you can see what seed he is using. or you can look it up on https://pd3.co/ if you have any of his previous bet id (can be seen on all bets)

do pvp bets have IDs?

Anyone wants to pvp 1-15btc bets?

I'm 99% sure the maximum you can pvp is 1 BTC since it's not provably fair.

lol what are you talking about man, you personally did 10 btc bets with me...

and it clearly says on the primedice site that pvp is provably fair..

setting a custom win chance doess not work, i cant bet..

Thanks for visiting best, can you elaborate on the process? Because we saw some people already made some bets with custom win chance.

when i bet with 50% chance, bets go through. When i change the chance and click the roll button, nothing happens. When i put it back to 50%, it works again.

10  Economy / Gambling / Re: [HOT] SATOSHIDICE - Negative rolls bug. User makes around 15+ BTC from 1k satos on: November 07, 2014, 10:16:52 AM
SatoshiDice asks you for a client seed, and then adds it to their server seed, modulos it by some number to generate the roll result. Instead of picking a positive client seed, someone picked a negative client seed, which invalidates the scheme as it shifts down the range. If the seed is negative enough, the roll will even be negative. Negative is less than any target, so the bet always won.

In short, SatoshiDice didn't validate the client seed, which their scheme requires it to do.

wow that seems like a huge mess up, especially given that they are one of the most well known btc gambling sites...

16  Economy / Gambling / Re: ONEDICE.me - Real gambling experience | INVEST | Faucet | Instant Withdraw on: October 04, 2014, 06:59:47 AM
The game, the way it is described, is not provably fair for investors, as well as for players. I'll leave this post here and let you guys try to figure out why. (And if my post gets deleted, I will start a new thread.) It will have provable results, which is not the same.

*edit* Okay, someone else beat me to it. Exactly as a previous poster has described. The other way is to pause the game for everyone else just 1 second (or a time they can't notice) and calculate the desired bet ID needed for the win, then resume, grab that winning bet, and continue as if nothing happened.

It can be programmed in the server to do this transparently, and if no winning bet is found within 0.01 seconds, you can just skip it and try again later, attribute it to variances in lag.

Therefore, my statement is that it is not provably fair for investors, and it is also not provably fair for players. You might as well make it at least provably fair for players, and let investors take the chance that the site operators will not cheat.

Like the other guy said, I am not accusing anyone of anything, just that the way this is implemented is not provably fair for everyone.

I have a feeling they are ripping off players. Currently when you bet, your bet number will be about 160 above the one that is currenly shown on the page. Then, take a look at the all bets tab, some bets are shown to be at the same time but over 10 difference in bet ID, while no bets are shown between them. True, primedice also does not send out all bets, but come on, this is a new page, I doubt they are getting such volume.

I think the site is scamming player, take care.

played, won 4btc, having trouble cashing out..

seems scammy, hope i see my btc...

What trouble exactly? I see you cashed out 10 times already and all those transactions have over few confirmations

when i try to withdraw now, the withdrawal dialog closes and nothing happens....... (balance is left the same). i tried to withdraw 0.01 and it worked, anything larger does not work.

Check your wallet, some withdrawals are manual, you should have waited for them instead you have invested this money into the site so we couldn't send it to you.

right, thanks, all was recieved.
