Hello all

I'm thinking about putting the Jim Symes cigar shop in the main plaza up for sale so I can relocate to my larger haw. Could I use this thread for hosting the auction? There is a current bid at 15kCKG for it.

Hello

I have transferred all of James Syme’s items to Jim Syme, however the interface is still showing James as owning 3,016 land and Jim as 0. I assume this is because the calculation is only run once a day.

Do the bids put in by James Syme now vanish as he doesn’t have the money in his account to fill them?

We have an admin command that can transfer all your items to the new user. Please allow a short while to fix the command, it is currently not 100% working correctly.

The mini game should play only once, but do you think the multiple times is a good idea? Either until the lot changes (up to 5 min) or a certain number of tries (such as 10). The payouts are raffled from the items of a certain pool account, so it is easy to adjust the quantity of "m" in the account.

Smashing, I will wait until the command is fixed rather than trying to move the 92 items James had separately.

I think the perceived reward should be equivalent to the amount of effort put in, so I think about 5 spins sounds like a decent amount. But it would depend on how many people are using it per day and what the average reward is.

I explored the location I was given when I logged in and played the mini game, it allowed me to play it multiple times so I'm not sure if that is a bug or not.

How do I go about transferring my monero ballance to a wallet or another user, or is that not currently possible?

The issues seems to be fixed now so I have created (discovered) Jim Syme a long lost relative to the late James Syme. I'm going to need some help transferring all of James's assets over to Jim as he had acquired quite a lot.

Poor James Syme, oh well, he had a good run. It at nearly 250 he was showing a few grey hairs. I'm looking to reorganise and I can't find any way to create a new character so I am interested in the services of someone to help me reorganise a few things in my account. Pm me for details.

New character is created by "Register" link in the Game login site.

The old character password works for 30 days still and you can GIVE item_id amount recipient_id to the new character.

Soon there will be a powerful command GIVE ALLXXX recipient_id accomplishing the obvious. This is already in admin testing so you can ask them to transfer your stuff if the estate is so large that giving each one separately is tedious.

Thank you for being 249 years with us and looking forward to the new incarnation! Smiley

I tried registering again but got a Slim Application Error, I can copy and paste the whole thing to a server admin if you like. Do I need to register with a new email each time?

Moneros went from .04 to .44 to the dollar because of the BTC rally, now its gone parabolic I assume people just want to get their money out and in dollars before BTC deflates and takes it to .3

Fantastic, good work everyone for building this game. I hope that people go on to build more and more services like this for crypto coins in future.

For the purpose of balancing out my assets and finding the market price amongst players for CKG I am putting 1000 gold up for sale.

Please let be know any offers either via this thread or PM. The sale closes 48 hours from this post.

Does this mean our CK accounts will be tallied up to Poloniex accounts or does each holder have to create a new Poloniex account for selling CKG?

The wedge will resolve in the next couple of days, what do we think are the chances of a large move in either direction?

On another note, what does everyone think of the chances of BTC putting a double bottom in at ~$180 and then beginning a rally?

University

It seems that both Fortune, and the Favor of the King (or, perhaps, these are the same) does not shine on the University, and therefore the Chancellor must responsibly step down following the Great Calamity.

Perhaps there is a new Chancellor who wishes to step forward and direct a rebuilding process for a New University. If not, then I would propose in my letter of resignation that the University be dissolved, the assets (remaining building, gold, and wreckage) be returned to the donators in approximate proportion to their donations, and the remaming unbuilt land be returned to the Town. I leave this final decision to the Town.

signed

The (former) Chancellor.

Oh dear, how can the city's university fall so low, have we placed such a low price on knowledge that we get distracted by the collection of coins and the mining of stone? I am guilty of this and so I ask one of our finest architects to discover the cost of rebuilding the area with a modest design including a food court, assembly area and many classrooms for the teaching of important subjects. Language, numeracy, science, cooking and business are the main trades in the city, but all this knowledge will be lost when the citizens become mortal. This gives need to teach a new generation the lessons of the past so they can gain the wisdom of people who are already hundreds of years old.

Meanwhile a nice looking game Full Metal Wars is doing something similar than us, from the crypto-crowdfunding perspective.

It looks like it's real time so not for people in my age, but check it out Smiley

What's the betting Altcoin wave two is caused by alts linked to unique non financial services like online games? quite high IMO.

Has the price officially broken the uptrend, it's hard to tell as poloniex only using 1 month or the beginning of time as the two charting options.

Also what caused the official spike down was it just FUD or something more serious, BTC usually takes news of a major exchange hack or a massive DDOS attack to spur a serious downtrend.

Earl James bids 60 each for the 4 lots #7, #8, #9 and #10

Enough time has passed in the wine cellar and Earl Syme has greatly enjoyed the sight of minted gold coins. He would greatly enjoy to take part in the new craze by buying a Gigapack of coins.

He is also excited by the possibility of being on a real round table, he hopes he has enough money to purchase one of the gold bars in the first round but suspects they might be extreamly highly valued.

To sell or to keep, its a question which I can't answer by myself, certainly not after drinking so much wine.

They could act as the banks emergency funds or as a prize for a achievement in the future. I will stay here and guard the wine while the other shareholders turn up.

James Syme bursts out of the doorway of his house, blinded by the natural daylight he recovers to see residents of CryptoKingdom pulling cartloads of boxes of newly minted gold coins. "What a fascinating new trend" me says to himself."

Later that day he arrives at the bank in a magnificent carriage made of blackened wood and brushed metal pulled by two exotic tamed giraffes with tophats attached to their heads by means of leather straps. The always helpful employees of the bank greet him and take him down to the scene of their startling discovery. "My goodness" he utters. "This is truly an astonishing turn of events". The manager opens the door to the vault containing the coins, however Syme has already wandered over to the wine racks. "I never knew we had wine down here". He cracks the top from a bottle with his sabre and drains it to the astonishment of all present. "They are partially mine after all".

The staff rolled their eyes.
