Does this coin have a future or is dying a slow death?? Anyone like to update please??
It cannot really go any lower than this, so if it ever gets revived, the upside is multiple-100%, while the downside is at most -50% (if you can buy at 2 sats), so make your choice. That feels like you are saying "your dog cannot get any sicker than this so why have it put down" or something like that :S If anything it is on a comeback, allot of people are finding out about this coin atm. And with all these coins making massive comebacks atm (like reddcoin) everything is possible. We have a bright future (always have).

I saw mintcoin got 1k votes on PoSwallets.com. This means it will be added i think? Good news for MINT since it will make it much easier to get into holding mintcoin without loading the wallet wich can take up to weeks.

@smartaction,
Very cool! btw, how are the sales on getfaircoin? In the past you shared some charts etc. Is it possible we can see them again?

Hey all Faircoop has created a otc faircoin trading group in telegram . You can make buy or sell offers there without going to the exchanges, If someone wants to join, contact me in pm i suggest Faircoop creat a slack channel asap Right now we are using telegram for assemblies, working groups, and so on.. I dont see the need to create similar tools in other platforms https://go.libhunt.com/project/telegram/vs/slackthis look as a comparison of Libraries for accessing third party APIs. otherwise, we are around 500 faircoop users there, and a big historial... the day we move will be for a full open source decentralized solution, Can you at least try to consider creating a bot that links all telegram messages to slack? I heard its very easy to run bots on slack.

@coolbeans94: Like always nice to see some statistics, thanks for that Crazy to think that MINT has been PoS for so long already, time moved so quickly and we are still arround. Great things happening in the MINTCOIN space. I personally cant wait to see where we stand in 3 years. But im confident we will still be arround and stronger then ever.

3k is a great entry point. We have been on 30k + satoshi and i dont think it is unreasonable to think that it will hit it again in short term. Lots going on in FAIR development, good things

Don't they let the developers know the reasons?
We're working to understand the issue so we can potentially reverse any removal. We'll be working on this throughout the day. Can you keep us informed here? Also has there been a official response from poloniex yet?

Any news on solving the blockchain bloat problem that affects all cryptos eventually?
I know that some of you Mint guys are at the forefront in finding a solution.
I actually have been working on some code to take care of this. Haven't put a lot of time into it lately though, I don't have much incentive too, but I would guess I am 75% of the way to a beta version of the code. Is there a way this incentive can be brought back? And @Msile: 5% is still way more banks will give on a regular account. I have made huge gains net worth wise since i invested in Mint. It was a wise choise, and still is

About the block explorer issue, is is possible for a block explorer to run on a Raspberry Pi? Im not really sure how it would all work on the technical side but if this is possible maybe someone from the community would be able to run it? I dont have one but if someone could work with me to get something like that running i can think about getting one.

Hi Jessica! I must say im so stoked to see you back in here, and glad that everything is OK, i must say i havent been that active lately, but i can see Ursay is still on IRC. Maybe we can have a chat there when you have a free moment and @coolbeans94, i believe that URSAY currently holds full control on Reddit, i guess you can hit him up if you need any permissions or something like that, im also a moderator but to be honest im not really checking it everyday due to low activity in the last weeks.

It's not like we can control who or how much coins people own. So it's not like we.can control the market cap. Maybe I don't understand but seems uncontrollable. I think there are a few large investors that probably don't care about that so much, but it makes the market cap higher? I can't afford to pay for it at the moment, or I would. Nothing wrong with that either.
It does not really work like that, basically marketcap is just total ammount of coins x the avarage trading price. But because there are most likely allot of lost coins, just like most other altcoins and even bitcoin the real amount of coins that could possibly be traded is lower then the ammount of coins in existence.

weird, I just minted the other day and everything seemed to be all good, at least Poloniex is still good to go like normal.
Hi, it is not the mintcoin wallet having problems. But the bter exchange. Mint wallet functions like it should.

I get it, this coin is a nice idea and im very interested in following this.. but the price atm is ridiculously high. It would give the coin a market cap of 160million? Or am i just terrible in math?

There are also some other wallets that i know of which have a option to show/hide orphan blocks. Whilst this will not solve the problem it will at least clean up the transaction screen. Maybe a idea to integrate in the next update?

Has anybody noticed minting slowing down? Here's the last few days for me:
2/5/2016 5 mintings out of 5 attempts 2/6/2016 2 mintings out of 4 attempts 2/7/2016 0 mintings out of 3 attempts 2/8/2016 1 minting out of 1 attempts 2/9/2016 0 mintings out of 0 attempts
No mintings today at all. Balance about the same. Seems strange. Is anybody else seeing this?
mchrist152
Hi, im not sure what you mean with "attempts". Have you ever used coin control? Its possible that when you have never used coincontrol, the coins get split up multiple times in different groups giving the coins less weight so it will make it harder for your coins to PoS. if you would use coin control and put those coins back on one pile it will mint faster Deepcreek *edit* Link to a tutorial on how to use coin control: http://bitcoinlasvegas.net/how-to-use-coin-control/

Any particular reason why Mintcoin just doubled in price on Cryptopia?
insider trading info But, like, I'm totally inside right now. I can even show you a picture of the room I'm in. Haha dude this made me crack up.

Yeah!!! Happy Bday MINTCOIN. We have survived 2 years and we are still looking strong! Buyorders continue filling up in the right direction. What "stained" history are you talking about? Compared to most other altcoin`s we are one of the cleanest coins arround.
