3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with Bitcoins please..URGENT on: February 02, 2015, 03:38:00 PM
Guys, I have to do a paper on the title- Is bitcoin a viable alternative to money as we know it....and if not, could it be one in the future.

Basically, I need to know what bitcoin is, how it works, how it is similar/different to normal money, how it affects the economy of a country and what are its future prospects.

Any help will be greatly appreciated...I dont mind if you send me a link where I can read up on the topic.

Thanks for the help.

Yes of course it is. It's already a great way to pass value over the internet quickly and cheap. Although it's not "mainstream" by any stretch of the imagination, many people already use it as a form of money successfully. The value is there, it just needs more education and visibility. You can try monitoring the Sarutobi bitcoin address, as it's constantly sending out bits to players https://blockchain.info/address/3MXxfNZoifLYdS8wJTpvfeDNPt9ZWuMAaN
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some questions about Mr. Satoshi. on: January 29, 2015, 02:45:39 PM
That would be Theymos & Sirius if you ask me as I said above , I don't see how he will give the Administration of this forum to theymos if he don't really trust him and don't know him in real life , same goes for Sirius he made the forum with Satoshi so he should know him for sure.

Not necessarily. Wouldn't it be safe to presume that Satoshi used proxies, Tor, and other methods to mask his identity? Maybe Theymos and Sirius have ideas, better than anyone else, but maybe not certainty that it's actually him or not, right?

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to put on a tech-blog? on: January 27, 2015, 04:30:32 PM

A lot of people were actually quite interested in the Bitcoin article,
so I'd like to know what else would be great to place on the blog.

Maybe start out by writing the basics of Bitcoin, why it's important and how people can use it, why it's beneficial. This will help get your readers introduced to Bitcoin, and you can also gauge their interest. You can ask them to post comments, for feedback on what they want to know more about.
