To the whitecoin developers.
Some of us noticed that our whitecoins bought back when whitecoin was launched are no longer valid on the new chain. On the forum it says that you guys did a coin swop sometime in the begining of the year. There were many of us who were not aware of this and now would still like to get our coins on the new chain. How can you guys just cut of your early supporters just like that. There should have been a reserve coin balance that should have catered for all those who did not do the swop.Would any of the main developers please respond, it is totally unfair that we have lost our coins.

Hi there people, I bought into NXT back in 2014. Recently I was told to just download the latest NXT client and enter my passphrase/seed and sync and I will find my NXT tokens.Now a day or two ago i received an email saying that MYNXT closed on 31 Dec. So have i lost my tokens from THE ORIGINAL NXT BLOCKCHAIN.Anyone here can please help me with this query.
Is there anyone on this forum that knows the answer to my query. I posted some while ago.Do any of the NXT devs provide help in this forum.Will be glad if your'll can help. |

Do i have to re-add the token?

You will be able to swap your Qtum ERC20 tokens to Qtum Ignition Main Network for 3 months. You will need a Qtum Igntion wallet, which can be found on our github: https://github.com/qtumproject/qtum/releases/tag/mainnet-ignition-v1.0.2Make sure you encrypt the wallet, back it up, then do a test transaction of 1 qtum to make sure everything works. The announcement wasn't made yet. Hi Come from beyond, it would be cool if iota-wallet.org could have a feature where we can transition from old seed to new seed. That would make transitioning quicker and simpler. Many problems with desktop wallet. I think cfb has no relation with iota-wallet.org Thanks for the heads up.I tried contacting the developer via the site contact us email but got no response. Is there any other way maybe via slack or bitcointalk that we can make conatact with him. Will be glad if anyone can help to get this feature on the website, (that is old seed to new seed transitioning) |

So much unfair by IOTA team, somebody who is not to much familiar with IOTA, how can she or he understand how to recover IOTA. IOTA team must do it automatically. I don't understand IOTA team.
After the current chain of upgrades is over we are planning to create a service that will recover iotas of those who know the correct seeds. Come from behyind, so you say that once all the upgrades are done we will be able to recover our iotas, even those who had iota stored in wallet 2.3 with old seed? Can you please show me a link to where this announcement was made.We really need help because there are so many people having this old/new seed transition problem. Thanks |

Hi everyone, Has anyone had the same problem with the new upgrade to 2.4 The upgrade has not gone well for me so heres the problem. Followed the instructions on the blog exactly. Completed the transition and entered new seed but when i login to iota version 2.4 with new seed, it shows no balance even after generating over 250 addresses.
Any ideas what not right. i was connected using lite wallet with bitfinex server.
I also notice that the history in my new seed shows 0 addresses and 0 transactions Any help will do
I am using the new version 2.4 lite wallet and tried several nodes but after I do the transition from my old seed to new one the wallet just says transitioning and the wallet window goes black. Any help please
The transition window does not say it was sucessfull.
The new seed does not show any incoming transactions as well when i login in to the new seed.

While i was away i had this little idea.
Wouldn't it be better that iota devs or someone with the iota skill create a site where all iota token holders can transition from old seed to new seed everytime there is an upgrade.
I suppose something like this:
User can logon onto website:
1 Enter old seed
2 Get all balances linked to old seed
3 Transition balance to new seed.
Is it possible for anyone to create something like this that is open source
too easy..they only know difficult things as tangle or building new versions to improve security allowing simple users with a old seed to recover their previous balance looks too easy for these genius GMK Hi, A simple interface is drastically needed if iota is to scale to millions of people without losing their iota's. maybe a few thousand might get the wallet thing but try millions. How many millions will have the time to sort out software issues. Take this scenario: If some people go on holiday or get ill or are too busy involved in some other life matters and come back too late only to find that they have lost their iota balance then how many millions of users are we going to have using iota. Iota will only build a bad reputation. i think this early stage is where we dont want lots of people losing money. |

You didn't follow the instruction well. You don't need to manually generate any addresses for this upgrade. If you have complete the transition to your new seed, you should see a transaction in the History section of your wallet when logging in with your new seed. It may be confirmed or it may be still pending. If it is till pending, you need to click show bundle and click reattach. Your transaction will get confirmed eventually after you do the reattach. Do the reattach every 30 minutes till it gets confirmed. Hi paul, what i am trying to say is that there is no tranasction pending because the iotas are still sitting in the old seed.When i login to the old seed and do a balance check again it shows the original balance again, which means it never has transitioned to the new seed. As i said when i click transition it says transitioning but then after a a few minutes the wallet window goes black as if it has did the transition but never did. When i look at the explorer on iotabalance.com it shows my old seed still has the iota balance. is there anything blocking the transitioning. i am using the lite client so i cant see any options to reattach or resend. I got the latest client from dashcoin and then got going to download the chain with my original wallet syncing to the chain. However because i started from the begining it is obviously going to take very long so i was thinking. Is there any lite client that i can use or is the any wallet which i can import my private key and it will show my correct balance including if it is in a change address or maybe import the wallet.dat file and it will display the correct balance. By the way would it be possible with the ledger nano or any other wallet provider that is safe.

It is going to be much much quicker than you think. Original wallet is the best. It is not Bitcoin... Yet, just in case you'd like to get a lite (SPV) wallet, try electrum at https://electrum-dash.org/ If you're brave enough, try work-in-progress builds at https://github.com/akhavr/electrum-dash-release/releases/tag/untagged-ecc160aac4a29f351e2aThanks Akhavr your'e a star I'll try them out |

I am not sure now if you can get any more ARDOR as the snapshot was done ages ago but if you are holding NXT now, take it off the exchanges and put it in your NXT wallet as there will be an IGNIS TOKEN snapshot in the 3rd quarter of 2017. All NXT holders will receive IGNIS token which will be the first child chain on the ARDOR platform. For every NXT you own you will earn 0.5 of an IGNIS.. I want to make sure I own some NXT before then as I missed out on owning ARDOR.  Hi there, Maybe someone can please help me.I had my next stored on my desktop NXT client (a version from 2014/2013 or so). How do i claim my ardor tokens now. Do i still run the old client and do a swop for the ardor tokens or do a get the latest client . Hi can anyone in the community please help me with my problem here.
Back in 2014 i bought some dash coin but then it was branded as darkcoin.
Then after a 1 to 2 transactions i left the balance in the wallet and never touched it.
Now recently i opened up this wallet and noted down the address of my wallet.
Then i looked up the wallet address on the current Dash explorer and then noticed something funny.
My wallet address displays a zero balance but the exact amount that i had in the wallet is sitting in another address. So what happened here. What am i seeing. My address does not show any balance.
That address also shows outputs on the block explorer as not yet redeemed.
So my question is : where is my coins.

It may be in a change address https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/ChangeDownload the new Dash wallet and let it sync up and you will see your full balance.
