I will test it soon, but now I have another question:

Is it possible to start the sync with an another bitcoin program, like multibit, under windows 7?
I store before syncing my wallet from the mac os in the multibit file folder. And I store the bootstrap-file (23 GB) which I downloaded with torrent software.

Is this example possible?

Here are my answers:
1.) Bitcoin-Version v0.8.1-beta
Dieses Programm verwendet Qt Version 4.8.4.
This is the info which I get from the bitcoin software.

What should I do now? I have not Bitcoin Core with version 0.9.3.

Should I download this software and transfer (with copy and paste) it in the program folder and start the sync again?

2.) Is 30 GB less now on my mac?
I have 30 GB free now.

3.) I did a check with disk utility: Here is the result

So, I think I have a problem. - So, is this a normal or a serios problem?

Go by restoring lost data? Will my MAC system look different after the restore?


Is it a problem if my wallet is encrypted and locked?

1.   QT: Version 4.8.4 – If it’s old what should I do now?
2.   8 GB RAM vs. HDD (25,33 GB free)
3.   No check with a Disk Utility before. Should I do make a Backup first? (Time-Backup?)
Can you prefer a freeware Disk Utility?
4.   OS X version: 10.9.5

so after 5 days of syncing I got a crash.

First error message:
Failed to write undo data

Second error message:
Ein schwerer Fehler ist  aufgetreten. Bitcoin
kann nicht stabil weiter ausgeführt werden
und wird beendet.

EXCEPTION: 13leveldb_error
Database I/O error
bitcoin in Runaway exception


The note tells me:
The last received block was generated for 260 days.

And then it crashed.

My harddisk has enough space (60 GB).

please help me. After 12 hours of synchronisation I get a crash.

"System error: Database corrupted"

What should I do now? I have enough space on my MAC.

so, first I have downloaded the bootstrap.dat file and copied in "/Users/<your-user-name>/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin".
Second I deactivate the app nap in Mac OS Maverick.
Third I start the bitcoin application.

Should it not work faster with this file now? I mean the synchronisation.

I have a problem with my bitcoin-qt on a mac os x.
I sent money to a bitcoin address in bitcoin-qt.
But everytime it crashes after 5-6 days of syncronisation.

And the second problem is I can't find my wallet file (*.wallet).
My wallet is encrypted. And I do not know how to get it decrypted, because this function is deactivated.

Further I have opened online a blockchain account. How can I transfer the money from the 1Czh.... bitcoin address to my blockchain account (online wallet)? 

Please help me!
