1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Image captchas have to be completed twice???? on: January 29, 2016, 02:17:06 AM
I found a way round it by logging out of my gmail account. As soon as I do that I can then just select 2 images and its accepted. I've created a few gmail accounts so by logging out of each account when it starts asking me to select 4 images and repeating the capture twice before its accepted, I then just login to a new gmail account.

Its not letting me move the post as it says I've got to wait 360 seconds. I will come back to it in a few minutes Sad

Is anyone else having this issue with the captcha where you have to select all the food or street signs images. It seems during the day everything works fine but at night I have to complete the captcha twice. www.bitvisitor.com is such a site that uses this kind of captcha.
I thought it was me at first but its not. Its extremely frustrating.
5  Economy / Micro Earnings / Faucets not paying referral fee's on: July 04, 2015, 11:29:40 PM
My eldest Son who lives with his mother has started doing faucet websites. I made a small application in vb.net that stores all the faucet sites and copies my wallet id to clipboard on a click of a button. Its not a bot its just an aid. All the links to the sites are my referral links, but after 2 weeks of him using my referrals out of 88 faucet websites only 4 showed to have paid any referral fees at all.

It would seem that all this crap of we pay a percentage if anyone uses your referral link is a scam.
6  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New: Scratch 4 Satoshis major upgrade on: June 02, 2015, 10:51:36 PM

Does anyone know what happened to the PTC Site Getyourbtc.com It just vanished and nothing has come up about it in Google search's. I take it it was another scam site.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Am I supposed to do something when I get emails with "We found a block!" on: December 23, 2014, 07:58:40 AM

I'm a bit confused with emails I'm receiving saying "Bitcoin Affiliate Network - Bitcoin Mining Pool] New block found!"

Included with the emails is info like bellow.

Am I supposed to be doing something when I receive these emails I do mine, pathetically with GUIMiner using my
graphics card. But I was planning on buying a Raspberry Pi Motherboard and some Block Erupters. My machine is hardly
ever turned off anyway.
I no I'm never going to get rich from it. I would like to hear your thoughts on this is it worth it or a complete waste of time?

Last question I promise
Due to getting in financial shit a few years ago I no longer have paypal, credit cards ect. If the answer to the above is yes it is still worth
mining (For a hobby more than anything) Does anyone know of any shops in the Greater Manchester Area UK that sell this kind of stuff. I would
rather pay cash. But at a push I could use Amazon.  I've been looking at a kit like shown in the links. What would I be best doing and buying?

Both Links to pages on Amazon second link was ridiculously long

9  Other / Off-topic / I cant read the new captchas on: December 18, 2014, 07:41:57 AM
These new captchas that have come out I cant read any of them on the faucet sites. A complete waste of time. The idea is to stop bots not humans as well.

10  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ***CoinGamez Play Online Games for Free The Official page *** on: November 27, 2014, 10:49:17 PM
I have had no problem with the payments. The only issue I have is I cant use it anymore. For the past few days I just keep getting  the message
"Sorry you have unclaimed Prizes To claim your Prize, you'll need to Complete the CAPTCHA"

No matter how many captchas I do I still get this message. So its made it unusable for me. Apart from that it was great.

12  Other / Meta / Please advise on the rules to the forum on: November 19, 2014, 07:51:20 PM
Hi I posted links to to faucets I found that where paying 2000 and 3x 1000 but the post was deleted. Is that against forum rules? I cant find  the rules to the forum so thought I would ask. As it is the faucet that was paying 2000 satashi last night is now only paying 100 for the time being today. something about problems with google adwords.  Huh So nobody is missing anything.

Just want to be clear on what I can and can't post. Or if someone would be good enough to point me to the rules page. Thank you Smiley
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] End the 'bit' controversy: What to (nick)name 100 Satoshi / 1 µXBT on: November 12, 2014, 10:53:49 PM
I'm not sure where you are up to with this pole as I've just come across it but what ever name is given to an amount of satoshi, shouldnt it be unique and not named after a countries currency such as cent, penny euro. It seems fitting that something so new, so unique and so different than anything before it, should have its own names for different values. It just seems the right thing to do.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for Shops around Manchester (UK) That sell Bitcoin mining hardware on: October 29, 2014, 06:57:39 PM

I'm a PC Engineer but I don't remember ever coming across any where that sells mining hardware. I just had a thought think I will have a look in Maplins. There always a bit expensive but can't think of anywhere else.

For future reference No mining Hardware at Maplins Sad
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Looking for Shops around Manchester (UK) That sell Bitcoin mining hardware on: October 28, 2014, 07:52:13 PM
Hello everyone I'm looking for a shop around the Greater Manchester area (UK) that deals in Mining hardware. I no longer have a paypal account or the means to buy online. Im looking at setting up a cheap mining system. I was thinking of going with HexFury USB mining sticks. I have a cpl of machines that are on permanently anyway so I might as well have them mining at the same time.

Anyone know of any where that are a reasonably priced?
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Looking for up to date advice on wallets, minors and starting for 1st time on: September 22, 2014, 07:36:16 PM
I've been doing some reading up on Bitcoin and to be honest I'm more confused now than when I started. I figured the best thing to do is set something up and go from there. Have a starting point you may say. Like everything else online people only bother to post about something if they have experienced a problem, when everything is working well  they tend not to bother.

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on the best wallet, minor and resources for a first time user who knows very little about bitcoin. I feel I will learn a lot more once I get started. oh and I'm running windows as well.

All tips and advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
