I think people should look at the whole "but they're paying people back" way of thinking like this: if you're going to screw people over, this is a way to do it and also look like you actually did pay people back. Since most players are small timers and perhaps make up 80-90% of their player base but only account for what, 10-20% of what was actually invested into the site, you pay those people back while taking from the heavy hitters. Since 80-90% of the people were paid back and post they were, DB looks like the good guy while still being able to stiff the 10-20% that actually carried huge balances which made up most of the DB's balances. It's simple, you let the majority get paid back while you keep the majority of the funds. It's probably really easy to chart out something which shows how many small time users they have and how much they actually make up insofar as the entire DB bankroll, etc... I bet it's not much. Just my 2 cents
