You'll need to add the subdomain so that it is covered by your security certificate or you'll get no traffic to your site. It's showing as an invalid security certificate on the subdomain.

Never had any problem with CoinPot and they're still paying regularly despite the hack. I always transfer my earnings to my 'own' wallet and it has always been problem-free. Maybe you've been unlucky or perhaps you've unwittingly done something to breach their TOS?

To be fair, I think the point the OP was trying to make is that Coinpot (and other microwallets) are their own self appointed "judge, jury and executioner", and there's sweet FA you can do about it. Which is the unfortunate truth. You wouldn't necessarily have to breach their TOS to get banned, I'm sure it happens to a lot of people. The tiniest element of doubt could be enough.

I've heard that it's mostly people earning decent amounts from referrals that seem to get banned for no apparent reason. This makes sense if you consider that they will keep the referrals and then not pay the referral fees.. a total scam if it is true.

The thing is, on the other hand, there are a hell of a lot of people trying to scam these faucets with bots, proxys/VPN's and other methods, so they will generally have a zero tolerance policy (even if they have the tiniest suspicion). It's certainly nothing personal, and I'm sure they would rather have a world where they know everyone is playing their game 'above board'. Paranoia breeds paranoia etc..

I have made further withdrawals since my 'issue' (a few posts back) and they have all gone smoothly. I'm not happy that I received no response to my queries, but they are still paying me, so I'll keep making the claims.

It's true though, that an unregulated world can be a minefield, but everything was unregulated once, and we still survived! Peace.

Well, now I've seen it with my own eyes. I have been using Coinpot for some time, and have made several successful withdrawals.

I'd seen all the warnings, and didn't disbelieve them, but had never been burnt myself... until now.

I made a withdrawal request on the 16th (2 days ago) for some Litecoin. I only selected a portion of the Litecoin I had as it was the first time I'd withdrawn Litecoin from them and wanted to be sure it would go smoothly.

Well on the 17th, the site went down for maintenance without warning, and when it came back up, the withdrawal request had vanished from my Litecoin history, but I hadn't received them. The coins were still missing from my Coinpot balance, but to top it off, they had taken the coins twice! It was like I never had the coins when looking at my history, even the graph that shows historical balance showed that I never had them!

It wasn't a major amount in financial terms, but my trust is now hanging in the balance. If they do that to a large number of customers each time they have maintenance, it will mount up, and most people probably wont notice. Trust is paramount with these type of sites, and if they're skimming then they can do one!

I've emailed support, I'll see if they bother replying and report back. I guess it's possible that it was unintentional, but I somehow doubt it. In the meantime I've requested the withdrawal of the rest of my Coipot balance.

Well, I'm boned!
Got all my UNO's in Bittrex at present, and just noticed they are deleting the market on Friday.
I figured I'd withdraw all my UNO's back to my client wallet.. but as my account is apparantly unverified they won't let me.
I tried to verify my account and nothing I do will work.. scamming b*stards!

My concern here is that if they delete the market then I will no longer be able to access my UNO wallet in Bittrex.. anyone kow if that might happen? I have had no email from Bittrex to inform me that this is happening, just stumbled accross it by luck.

I tried photo verification again and it worked.. I quickly withdrew all my UNO, and they are safely confirmed back in my client wallet.. and at the time of writing they have more than doubled in price in the last hour or so.. happy days! Cheesy

Hope anyone else struggling with Bittrex manages to get it sorted.. Smiley

Coinomi is a multi-coin, multi-asset, hierarchical deterministic wallet. Very user-friendly and secure.
If you install the Android emulator BlueStacks, you can also access Coinomi via desktop or laptop.
Another valid option is Electrum.
Finally, if you're comfortable with paperwallet, generate one at https://walletgenerator.net/?currency=Unobtanium

But do you know if I'll lose my UNO if I can't withdraw it from Bittrex in the next few days? That was what I was asking and is all I give a sh*t about right now!   Roll Eyes Grin

Back in the latter part of 2014, I had a little play with a couple of Antminer S1's and mined some Unobtanium.. just for fun.. and because I had a good feeling about Unobtanium.

I just found my Unobtanium wallet, so thought I'd check what the current exchange price is..   Shocked Grin

Glad I held on to them!  Long my it continue.. Cool

So, I've just noticed that coin-pool.org has vanished...

Just wondered if anyone knows where it went? Did I indeed unearth a scam? There seems to be nothing much about it's disappearance on the internet..

Any info greatly appreciated.  Huh

That being said it is a game of luck but that is a serious losing streak if it is genuine.

A serious losing streak indeed. By my crude (and maybe incorrect calculations?!?) the chance of this losing streak is like winning the lottery jackpot every week for a year or something ridiculous!

Basically, 'anonymous' has approximately half of the hashing power of the pool, so you would expect 'anonymous' to find approximately half of the blocks, right? So, the chance of finding not a single block out of the last 150 or so (since I've been watching) is ~ 0.5^150, which is around 7.006e-46...... an incredibly small number!

Six days and counting, I'm now convinced this is either being scammed or I'm missing something, check for yourselves and let me know what you think?

I understand that it is all about luck, but for more than 4 days I've been monitoring this and still not a single block found by 'anonymous' even though the 'lesser' contributors have found plenty. Doesn't anyone else think this is odd?

An example of what I mean is shown in these two images, both of which were taken at the same time in different browser tabs.

I notice there are 2 anonymous users at the time of the screen captures, but it's the one at the top which seems to be the odd one.

Here shows that despite having the highest hashrate, 'anonymous' has not found a block in quite some time, I have been monitoring this for over a day now.

As I say, it just doesn't seem to add up to me, although I may be missing something..... so I'm not pointing fingers, just curious.  Huh

EDIT: grammar!

Hi guys, first post, so hope I am in the right place for this message.

I am very new to mining, and crypto currencies in general, so thought I would ask if anyone can shed some light on my findings?

I recently purchased 2 x Antminer S1's just for sh*ts and giggles and undervolted/underclocked them for efficiency (they are running at ~127GH/s each @149watts at the wall each). I realise this is not productive as far as coins vs. electricity goes, but as I say, it's just for fun and experimentation purposes.

For a few days I have been mining 'Unobtanium' at uno.coin-pool.org. I have noticed that the largest contributor in hashing power (listed as Anonymous) has not been listed as finding a singal block in days. All the other major contributors have found many blocks each.
Is it possible that this 'Anonymous' user is fake and just taking a large share ratio?

As I say, I am new to all of this, but do understand quite a bit about statistical analysis, so I'm hoping I am maybe just missing something.  Huh
