Ich will "sofort" nichts unterstellen, aber Leuten zu suggerieren, dass es völlig in Ordnung ist, seine Bank-Login-Daten auf einer Seite eines Drittanbieters anzugeben, ist an sich schon sehr fragwürdig.

Ich jedenfalls werde meine online-Banking-Daten niemals auf irgendeiner Seite eines Drittanbieters eingeben.

Ich versuche gerade, mein Konto bei bitcoin.de zu verifizieren.

Wenn ich nun auf den Link "Verifizierung des Bankkontos" klicke (in den Einstellungen meines bitcoin.de-Accounts),
dann werde ich auf eine Seite von "sofort banking" weitergeleitet, die so aussieht:



Muss ich mir jetzt einen Login bei 'sofort Banking' besorgen?
Oder wie ist das gedacht?

I tend to believe now that Tradehill is/was a scam.

sorry for the long silence - after my last post I had to go on vacation for 2 weeks.
Hopefully, I can resurrect this thread.

About a week ago, I called the phone number that Ryan_Singer has given ( (415) 422-9628), the answering machine seemed to work fine , the automatic answering text seemed OK, too, I believe I have spoken clearly, but nobody has called me back yet.

Last week, I have also sent two emails: one to support at tradehill.com , the other one to allison at tradehill.com.
Both of them were returned today, with the same error message:
<allison@tradehill.com>... Deferred: Connection timed out with cf-ssl29152-protected.tradehill.com.
Message could not be delivered for 5 days


Anything else I can do to reach Tradehill ?

Yeah, I can understand that they don't want to deal with low net worth individuals.

But ...

We have seen now at least 3 different physical addresses (not counting the mail forwarding to Oregon).
It almost feels like hide-and-seek.

And a phone number that is advertised as a support line, but that never works, doesn't build up reputation in my mind.
Dito for emails that never get answered at all.

Did you check whether there was any kind of name plate at that address saying "Tradehill", or "Kenna" ?

I have never done a PM or a Report.

Plus, limiting posting to 6 minute intervals seems like a bad idea to me - after all, I can well respond to two different posts with in a period of 2-3 minutes.
(E.g., this response is the second post to this forum within 2 minutes - well, it would be, if the 360 seconds bug wouldn't prevent it ... )

Yes, a company that has mail forwarding set up for the address they post as their business address on their web page would be regarded highly suspicious in Europe.
And, as Nagle has found out, if someone was to send a letter to their postal address, it would never arrive, which is definitely another suspicious thing to a European.

Also, I have sent Tradehill an email a few days ago at 'support@tradehill.com' - and now I have received a message saying that the email did not get through ...


Sorry for not posting more often in this thread (in fact, in the whole forum): my problem it that I am able to post only once a day.
Otherwise I get the error message "The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago".
Or I get an error message saying that I have sent the post already (which is, of course, not true).

If you are there, could you please also ask how I can reach them via phone? The lines of the phone numbers given on the web page seem to be always busy.
