2  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Microsofts Keys with the cheapest price. Hero member can get free keys. on: November 22, 2017, 11:21:10 AM
My review
after browsing many topics here about selling keys I found the prices here way more cheap than others, so I said why not.
I purchased a win10 key from him, the transaction went so smooth , I got the key even before I finish installing windows on my new laptop, the activation message poped up, I entered the key and viola, windows is activated and the key is linked to my Microsoft account as well.
very highly recommended, legit keys and fast transaction with no wait for key delivery, what else can I ask for..
here the photo of my windows activation status.

EDIT
====================
The seller sent to me a free office 2016 key. redeemed and downloading now..

Hello
I am running 6x1060 6GB mining rig.
when I use EWBF it runs sometimes for few hours then it crashes and freezes the PC, only hard reset can be done to restore the windows functionality.
I tried Excavator, it runs flawlessly but the SOL/S is less than the EWBF that's why I want to use EWBF..
I am not overclocking or undervolting anything, only using MSI AB to adjust the fan speeds to curve mode.

what am I missing here? does EWBF known to be unstable like this?
I am using latest 0.3.4B version and tried many nvidia drivers with same issue..
regards

hi,
for first awesome project, but I have small problem
I got stable 140 Mh/s with ethereum but with zec I have only 1500 h/s any idea why ?
I have 6x 1060

Hi, are you using 2 workers per card (you have 6 cards, so 12 workers total), also did you overclock the core ?

hi, yes I have two workes and overcloked mem, but still I got the same speed, while overclocking did gave me a burst on eth it did not on equihash

Memory overclocking doesn't really do much for equihash, its the core speed that matters the most.
This might be a far fetched idea, but have you checked your P-State ? (you can do that with nvidia inspector).
What is the hashrate you expected from the cards that you have?
Friend of mine is running an overclocked 1060 with 100W tdp limit, it hashes around 270 h/s for him.

Memory overclocking does quite a lot for equihash, just use GPU-Z and see that it uses memory. Also 1060(samsung) can do 320 sols on EWBF.

I used to use EWBF miner and got 320 SOL on each of my 1060 instead of getting 285 SOL using excavator, but I had a massive issues in stability in it and it crashes frequently even in stock settings, so I switched to excavator, low SOLs but running stable now for more than three days which has never happened with EWBF..

@cTnko
thanks so much for this incredible update.
I am thinking about another feature if you can add that will be a life changer
I am thinking of remote managing and controlling of the miner, as you know we can open the port and redirect it to our local pc, so I want to open the GUI on my laptop at work and it will connect to my RIG at home and gives me statistics of the mining and I can also give it commands to make like overclocking or switching pools etc..
can this be achieved?
my guessing is that you need to add an option to specify the location of the excavator instead of using the local folder we can redirect it to the remote folder location at the RIG pc..

@Romeo26222 regarding the local IP settings, when you use it (with just the regular Excavator) can you instantly access it from a second pc on the network, or does it require some tinkering in firewall, etc?

As i am testing it right now and i can't seem to access the second PC even though the IP and port is bound correctly (always times out).

Yes I can access it directly from the network
and I made a port forward and no-ip address on my router so I can also access the API from the web also..

Very nice job here..
I have a question
when I choose to start the GUI with windows, will it run the job automatically or not?
because if it will not run the job it will be useless in case of power cut and pc restarts..
regards

Hi, if the GUI was mining (had active job/s) it will automatically resume the jobs when the power cut or pc restart occurs.
You can test it by having at least one job running, close the app, it will close both the gui and excavator, then start the app again, it should automatically start any jobs that were active before.

In other words, don't worry about it, everything is being taken care of on the restart/autostart end :-)

good, I already tried and it works
one other thing, I want to change the web api port from 127.0.0.1 to my local rig ip address so I can access it remotely from other pc, I can do this from the excavator bat file but from your GUI I can't find that option..

You are correct (currently this isn't possible), because inserting the API address manually could create a miss-configuration (if the IP changed) that would render the GUI completely disabled.
However, i could try to implement this in a way where the GUI would fetch your local IP address and allow you to either use the 127.0.0.1 or the local IP.
Would you be ok with something like that ?

yes this will be great because this is the only issue making me not able to use your software..
one other thing, when the miner starts mining the 1% for you, does it mine with all the GPU and disconnects the mining to my pool or it just use some of the hashing power towards you and keep mining both ways..

Yes teamviewer uses gpu power to render the desktop.  If you change your API address to the actual IP of the mining rig and view the api from another pc, with teamviewer not connected, you will find that your hash goes back up.

thank you so much, I monitor the cards now via API and it works great, no hash drop.

Hello
I am using a 6x zotac 1060 AMP+ version with 9gbps memory.

I have something weird and need advice

these are my API state when I start the mining software

but after only 2 minutes of running the 1st GPU card gives this redings

this is not happening with excavator miner from nicehash which keeps the card at constant speed and voltage consumption.

I tried everything, I swapped the card with others, swapped the riser, swapped the power supplies and still get same issue..
any tips here to help..
PS. I am using MSI AB to boost the memory clock to 4700 with no power or core clock modifications.

What are you using to connect to the desktop?  VNC, Team Viewer, RDP ect?

I am using teamviewer, do you think it uses the GPU so it reduces the hash rate?
