That moment when you have all of your bitcoins in one vanity address, you import that address into a wallet and spend like .1 bitcoins.
Then the next time you go on blockchain.info to check your "balance" you see it is all gone.
Your bitcoins were moved to a new address after spending (fortunately still in your wallet).
Wasn't there a story of someone who imported his paper wallet, spend some money and than deleted his wallet, thinking the rest of the BTC would still be on that paper wallet? Oh man, I remember that story. I can't find it though so it might not have been on this forum but it was pretty unfortunate

Could somebody pleas splain to me exactly what is the specific pending question in this thread, in order that I can attempt to adequately respond to it?
Seriously, are you some sort of apostrophephobe? Seriously, what's an "apostrophephobe"? Is apostrophephobe even a word? Seriously, wunkbone, didn't you forget to put "seriously" in your question? But what does it matter if "seriously" is placed in such question?

I like the idea of a social network for people who all like and are interested in bitcoin. It could be a place where people who are invested in and are interested in bitcoin can 'gather' and discuss things as they relate to bitcoin.
I think I would call it bitcoindiscuss.....unless you wanted to use a simpler term for discuss, maybe you could replace discuss with talk, so you would call it bitcointalk
Hahaha! Good one. Yeah I don't see why we would want to get less formal than Bitcointalk, unless you really wanted small groups of people to circljerk even harder than Bitcointalk

Yeah, like the other poster said, it makes Bitcoin seem more legit and moves it away from the idea that Bitcoin is used by drug dealers, Terrorists groups, arms dealers.

Less profitable than gambling.

Because the price isn't regulated by a central authority like the government, so Bitcoin is worth purely what other people make it out to be. It's pretty much just supply and demand, where even medium sized orders will affect the price of BTC to a degree.

The technically easiest way to make BTC is by investing large sums of money into doing all or nothing safe bets on gambling sites. You have to have pretty big balls to do this though since you're eventually going to lose all your money when you get too cocky.

Yeah we can't really help you with your problems since PHP is server side code. Paste the lines around 204 and then we'll talk. In all likelyhood, you probably forget the $ though.

The Enter The Dojo web series is absolutely fantastic. It's like the office, but for a new made up martial arts dojo.

I mean, it's possible but I think we're better off not trying to form unsubstantiated opinions before we get real hard proof. There's no evidence for or against them.
