1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GetGlue and Bitcoin on: August 16, 2012, 05:55:41 PM
I've tried GetGlue before and seen how many comments some 'topic' items attract, so it might be a good way of raising awareness throughout the GetGlue community. Will have a look later - could be a good way of spreading the word!

Thanks!

Another update:

cryptocoin.info and
filenetworking.com are down with all associated subdomains.  Huh
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cryptocoin.info hacked? on: April 12, 2012, 10:35:38 AM
That's what I thought.
How else would they know that there was a backdoor into the original site?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POSSIBLY SOLVED] cryptocoin.info hacked? on: April 12, 2012, 04:57:07 AM
Edit: http://f.filenetworking.com is down.
Cryptocoin.info/filenetworking.com has changed. Orange background with additions and removals of text:

Avoid all Cryptocoins!

Background is orange.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [POSSIBLY SOLVED] cryptocoin.info hacked? on: April 11, 2012, 06:29:57 PM
Is this what cryptocoin.info used to be like?

Subdomain lookup on filenetworking.com

http://f.filenetworking.com

EDIT: This is not actually there anymore... did the hacker remove it?
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cryptocoin.info hacked? on: April 11, 2012, 01:33:22 PM
It's also an Apache server - any vulnerabilities that could enable a hacker to get in?
Quote
Apache Server at cryptocoin.info Port 80

Also has a standard FTP server with authentication...
Anonymous login with username "anonymous" leads to error...

184.172.150.4 leads to a default page..

The 404 page is on filenetworking.com - as mentioned above..
http://cryptocoin.info/404

Directories:
http://filenetworking.com/cgi-sys/ - forbidden, same on CC
http://filenetworking.com/etc/ - forbidden, same on CC
http://filenetworking.com/images/ - OPEN directory, but http://cryptocoin.info/images/ is forbidden.
http://filenetworking.com/.htaccess - forbidden, same on CC
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ghash equals how many megahashes? on: April 09, 2012, 05:52:44 AM
I'm pretty sure that by Ghash, people mean Gigahash. 1 Gigahash = 1000 Megahashes, so the first one.

As binary doesn't apply, that's correct.
If it was memory/HDD storage, then it would be 1024.  Smiley

Sounds great, but as mentioned above, the site is down at the moment.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Automatically retrieve Bitcoin balance? on: April 07, 2012, 04:34:31 PM
I don't really mind. It's a great service but the OP could not find it originally as it was an old post.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Automatically retrieve Bitcoin balance? on: April 07, 2012, 04:27:30 PM
There is an actual solution.
It was designed and published in a previous post here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=42005.0

You can show a realtime balance of an address, show the blockcount, or show any other text.

EDIT: You can embed the code into email signatures, blogs, forums and normal HTML code. It can update in realtime and show balances from any address. You can customise the string to change colour, font size and background. It comes out as an embedded image  Grin

Did I help? Please donate :-)

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IBB - Scan & Redeem BTC {scan quick!} on: April 03, 2012, 08:51:13 AM
Indeed... they were.  Sad
Weirdly, I claimed one and imported the key but before I could do anything with the bitcents the address changed to 0 BTC - even though I had redeemed it.  Huh
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IBB - Scan & Redeem BTC {scan quick!} on: April 03, 2012, 06:22:47 AM
Redeemed one - added to wallet then even though it said 0.02 BTC, when I tried to send it said 0.00 BTC?
Could someone else have redeemed one that quick?

EDIT: Left side and largest QR code gone. Sadly was not able to get any Sad
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New initiative from the creator of WalletBit.com on: March 24, 2012, 07:40:31 AM
Hi,

It appears any email address entered to register for the free trial comes back as "already in use".
Is there a fix available because I am sure my email address(es) are not on this service already.

Thanks,

YSoliman

and as you can see I have added the code to my signature.
