How do you guys look up the component values? Can anyone give me the value of this resistor?
I don't even know if it is R66 or R106. Seems to have blown out on my overclocked gridseed, but not sure if it has anything to do with the overclocking or just random.

I think that component is actually FB26, and R66 and R106 are the two empty spots for resistors immediately to its left in your pic.

Anyway...here's a pic where you can see the voltage test points and added heatsinks.
What happened to your heatsinks? It looks like they got run over by a truck...

Did the 2-bridge mod and replaced the thermal pad with some paste and mine is running stable fanless at 950MHz (~403kh/s). Thanks!
I also had to shift the heatsink vanes slightly, so that the top half didn't collide with the bottom half. Otherwise it would not have made good contact with the chips.

I am with you all on the lawyer option. If we win, we get 60% of the BTC that we paid, which is a lot more than the USD equivalent option. I would appreciate some clarification from waldo about what could happen if we lose.
I also recommend to waldo to try and make contact with others who have orders with HF.
Let's hold a vote on this ASAP.

What does FPGA firmware/bitstream have to do with ASIC? Presumably this is the firmware that runs on the micros in BFL units. As Luke-Jr states, it's for BitForce SC (ASIC), not FPGA.

I'm in with my 40 chip credit. Watching this thread.

I'm against cryteq or variations on it. It sounds kinda dumb (faux-cool; you're naming a coin, not a gaming PC) and doesn't really tell you anything about the product. If it has to be one of those three, please use hardcoin or bitbob.

"Phycoin" rolls off the tongue better than "Physcoin". That just sounds like fizz coin.

The symbolism of the lines and the people wasn't immediately apparent to me, but I guess it works.
As for a name, why not just P4coins?

This is a great idea, and I'd buy 10 or so. It would also be nice to eventually see other denominations such as 50, 200 and 500 mBTC.
One downside of the holograms on casascius coins is that they're much less tolerant of the general handling and abuse that comes from being carried around in pockets and stuff, but I suppose there's not really much that can be done about that. Maybe have the hologram sticker recessed into the coin by a small amount (the thickness of the sticker) if it's not impractical.
Would faint latitude/longitude lines on the world map look good? What's the deal with the people around the edge? What will the other side look like? Reeded edge or plain?

Are you still buying these? I have three unspent and three spent, but they're not in particularly good condition. Also I live in Australia, so postage could be a bit of a bitch.

FYI, Inaba joins BFL as COO. Anyone wager this increases the chance that BFL will meet its target?
No way of knowing, really.

I've bought 10 more.
Also, bump.

Added Solidcoin as a payment method!
Have fun with that :/

You should consider setting a deadline, and if all tickets aren't sold by then, refund the tickets or something. I don't think ticket-holders will mind, as the price of BTC has risen since the raffle opened.
It does seem better to run raffles with fewer tickets for some reason, even if the tickets cost more.
