1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Experiment 10k | Stress Test Blockchain on: February 05, 2015, 08:26:53 AM
Guess we'll have to agree to disagree, if someone was heavily invested in snowballs I can see why he'd want to hear more about what you are doing with it.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Experiment 10k | Stress Test Blockchain on: February 05, 2015, 08:23:40 AM
I get not stressing the haters, but I don't see how assuming being the creator of 3 coins that are still around and selling staking hardware on top of that is very time intensive and might spread oneself thin, makes a person stupid.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Experiment 10k | Stress Test Blockchain on: February 05, 2015, 08:12:14 AM
So when is it okay to send coins to new address within wallet? I think I read somewhere that it was after receiving a couple of 0.00 transactions? Please advise. Thanks in advance!  Smiley

You can do it anytime, but I suggest moving them after seeing a few 0's in a row
gave up on snowballs eh? moved on to another 1 with the same crap =/

It may appear that way...but only to stupid people

How do you figure?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pos-Coin Resolution 2015 on: January 19, 2015, 01:49:49 PM
Do you have any advice for staking hardware to invest into?

I can do some DIY with pc's if needed, but nothing too technical.

Preferably pretty low budget if possible.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Maieuticoin | 2014% PoS | Version 2 Staking Hardware Sales OPEN on: January 19, 2015, 01:28:28 PM
@vegasguy

Your wallet looks alot different from mine, am I not on the latest version?

I also get way less stakes as you do, way way less, like 1 stake/day, with a pretty crazy amount of coins... Any idea someone?

Also it says version 2 staking hardware sales open, Id like to buy a few, where can I find more info?
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think you were scammed by GAW? Tell Ars Technica on: January 14, 2015, 03:49:13 AM
I'll say this, if I had taken the money I put in gaw and put it in any other cloud mining provider at the time I invested money into it, I would have gone broke by now and the company dissappeared/quit providing cloud mining.

I think GAW is the industry leader and the most solid company in it's industry. At least that's the only lesson I can conclude from following this industry for the past half year.

ps: if you disagree, and you can show me a cloud mining company that's more legit than GAW and would have made me more money had I put money in them +- 6 months ago, without it completely dissappearing now or me "unwillingly" forfitting my investment, by all means do so.

pps; all markets are down because of the high level of viciousness there is here among supporters of different cryptocurrencies, Imagine how unpleasant all this must look to outsiders of the industry? For blockchain techs sake, I hope somehow that changes in the future.
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think you were scammed by GAW? Tell Ars Technica on: January 14, 2015, 03:41:31 AM
Really guys?

Cex.io halts all scrypt operations, hashnest umisoo pool is 86%+ Fees and about to be shut down, pbmining was a scam, cryptodouble is finally gone bitstamp hacked and everyone is still trying to trash GAW?

Maybe themage will come in here and ask us not to sue ltcgear next like he is already doing on litecointalk... While bashing GAW lol...

Come on...
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The Snowball | Game Changing Hardware on: January 09, 2015, 12:38:27 PM
So we can only stake the one coin

I am currently staking both M and BALLS on the same device

We did not charge to add HYP, but nobody showed any interest

Im already interested in this, but I for one would be more interested if HYP was an option, that would make it a must have for me.

Cool thread, definitely following.

About new years resolutions, it's a silly thing people make them and they are usually insanely hard, "I will hit the gym 4 days/week every week" and then they get sick, or go on vacation and don't go to the gym for a week, or are swamped at work and are like meh well, I failed, and eventually quit.

Some questions;

Where can I find out more about the coin details?

Where/when can I buy the hardware part? Do you ship to europe?

If I'm still on the original client, should I do anything as of now?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech on: December 22, 2014, 12:44:52 AM
Mehhh

I don't know. I honestly don't.

Upsides and downsides on either choice.

Solid last few posts itt.

I'm not a market specialist or anything, but I can tell you, I am holding! & buying! If the price stays this attractive, I might end up overinvesting.

So i've created the 2 private keys and loaded all my coins into my wallet.

Being a noob to crypto and internet security in general, what steps should I take to make sure I never ever lose those coins now?

Should I encrypt something or backup something? I really have no clue!

Thanks!

Just bought another 600k - love these 'newbies' panic selling into me lol

That is a lot of confidence in their project. I am not sure if I could risk money right now on this. It looks good, but there are sevral good projects now.

I need more money to buy more bitbay!!

Honestly though, if you think that this isn't a scam, which I do, than buying 500$ worth at bottom prices isn't "alot of confidence". It's just a buy low and wait solid move.

But here you all are. Hahha. Nice of you to come to a coin you think is garbage just to tell everyone it is. Problem is it's too late now for your FUD, the price is starting to run. You're picking up dimes in front of a steamroller.

I think this coin is great, no clue who your post is directed at, but I specifically say if you don't think this coin is a scam, which is what I think (not a scam), than buying 500$ is a good investment right now.

All this has been explained to us and questions on the subject have been answered. The poster of the "wall of shame" is a well known trouble maker. look up his history and see how many different coins he has done this to. Some people are just plain damaged, period.

Fair enough, could you explain this to me, or point me in the right direction where I can read up on it?

Edit: referring to this part obv: "All this has been explained to us and questions on the subject have been answered."

I did not ask for your measurements, thanks anyway  Roll Eyes

You say, (I understand the link, I just don't get why it's good that we have one person hired who is far more personally, emotionally and probably monetarily invested in a different product within the same field).

If your hard hours research could not teach you that this is extremely beneficial for BC/Halo to have the licensed tech get marketed by Bitbay and be shown to the world then you need to work on your research, because clearly you have no idea about business / tech.

I'm sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean to. Is it considered bad ettiquette to say how much you hold? I'm probably going to offend you again, and I don't mean to again, but you still don't really answer my question... I have to admit you are right however, I'm very unaware of the technology behind bay/halo/bc, but is that such a bad thing? I read here coin for the masses, widespread adoption etc, but when someone who doesn't understand the technology fully asks some legitimate questions they get as answer "research more you suck.!"

We do appreciate your concerns and I can assure you that we are creating all of the items mentioned in your post to be included in our rebuilt website. So far, there has been an intense focus on development and some of the community driven aspects have been put on hold so that we can ensure a timely release of our Smart Contracting wallet. After that milestone is reached, we are full steam ahead for our decentralized marketplace. So in short, you can expect a new site, giveaways, whitepaper, FAQ, interviews, hosted wallet downloads, and much more very soon. We are working as a team everyday to make these goals possible.

We love to make the community happy so if there is anything else you need, please let us know. By the way, details on another recent technical achievement incoming!

Hey there, thanks for your post as well. I'm sorry if I appear impatient, I'm definitely not, and I'd rather you guys work hard and update me when it's done, than soothe me/others from time to time, for now I'm mostly curious about Davids involvement, because alot of people are saying David is awesome (and everyone Ive talked to who had dealings with him confirmed this for me so far) but I'm trying to decide if I want to increase my investment in bay gradually down the line or if this is enough risk, so I need to gauge how committed david is to bitbay, is he a permanent staff member or temporary? I see alot of posts about him training the dev team, what happens after that? You cannot say that he is not a major if not the major representative and public face of bitbay at the moment, I bet most people are in it FOR him, all of this is great ofcourse, but what happens if worst comes to worst is what I'm wondering.
