While retaliation is a natural human response I am asking that people here not do so. Even though these kids are apparently living their lives very poorly they are the only lives they have. Please don't make them any worse than they must already be. There are sufficient ways to make our disapproval known without resorting to their tactics. Fighting fire with fire generates a great deal of heat. A few notable events for CannabisCoin! A MILLION blocks! Yes, the blockchain is now over a million blocks long and running strong! While that is a tribute to the rock-solid stability of the code it does raise a couple of issues: Firstly it is leading to longer scan times for the wallet, which some people in this world of rush and hurry find too tedious. Look for a two-stage update of the wallets. Shortly we will release a minor optional update to refresh the wallet checkpoints. This will speed up wallet starts. A new bootstrap file will be issued shortly too. We are also looking at bringing the core up to 0.11 from the current 0.8. With regard to the planned major wallet update, anyone with strong feelings of why the code should not be based on later libraries (currently boost147-149, db4 and using Qt4) should contact Barry Code directly by emailing b4zz4.code@yahoo.com stating why. CannabisCoinj will be brought up to core 0.13.1 and the Android wallet probably to match bitcoin wallet 4.4ish. I don't understand this coin  It started as FUD coin. It's about 7 months old. Pure PoS. It had a 120 day mining period. It was on C-CEX but got dropped for lack of volume. It was also on allcrypt, which went under. It has always been on cryptopia as FUD. Some trading has gone on at cryptopia. Recently it re-branded to DARK because Dark went to Dash. As FUD it was never hyped. As DARK, it hasn't been hyped, only trolled. It's just a regular coin. Either way, you can't buy any right now because the wallet is in maintenance at cryptopia. This means you are in no danger of getting "scammed". I hope that helps! P.S.: I'm having a hard time letting go of the FUD theme, so my posts sometimes sound like I'm fudding this coin. But I am the lead dev. very confuse everyone when name change |

So this dev has a community that has made him a nice website, promo video, HTML5 wallet with social integration.. and he's not even here to support it. What a joke, other coins would kill to have this community. Sad to see

Hi Bass, Quick question for you. Who is still on board regarding the opal team right now?  I've only seen you, jack and void hanging around here... Where is everybody else? Looking forward to that SYS collaboration btw! The team page needs updating. I have been very busy with real life the past few months and there are others that are no longer involved. I'm just getting back into Opal now and hoping to see things moving in the right direction again. Good to have you back on board, the team that opal had in the good old days was great. Too bad it fell apart, hoping it will be back soon. Keep us up-to-date guys! Thanks I think we need some heavy promotion in the next few weeks. Also, today Malwarebytes started to regularly blocks nodes from my wallet to the network. I haven't had that happen ever before with a wallet except for the TRC wallet.

opal drive ain't no cloud storage. it is for file transfer between users and as far as i know it's functional but it's kind of user-unfriendly in it's stage right now Nothing more to add. but i think there are possibilities too make it a working cloud service. i'm no coder though i don't want to speculate about this too much.
