4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MtGox stealing accounts on: February 02, 2012, 03:35:50 AM
Hello,

Please be aware that even if you select the most expensive option (Express Mail®International Flat Rate Envelope), it would only cost $38 from the US and will get to us within 3 to 5 days. You do not need to select this option, since you can just choose to mail through First Class by taping the Yubikey to a letter. Even with tracking and insurance, it should only cost aronud $10.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MtGox stealing accounts on: February 02, 2012, 03:27:04 AM
As we mentioned in our ticket, if you do not prefer to spend $90 on mailing the Yubikey which could be lost, you can always order a new Yubikey from our page https://yubikey.mtgox.com/ for less than $30.

Regarding giving you limited access to your account; we have been asking you on the Support page several times whether if this is how you would like to proceed. If that is all right, please let us know on your ticket and we can resolve this for you.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MtGox stealing accounts on: February 02, 2012, 02:54:10 AM
Hello,

We can unlink your Yubikey for now but we will need to give your account AML status. You will have limited access to your account, but you will be able to login and trade. If you could either mail back the broken Yubikey to us, we will lift the AML flag and mail you a replacement Yubikey through EMS for free. Please be aware that you do not need to mail the Yubikey through any express services since normal mail should get here without any trouble or high expense. If you are unable to mail the Yubikey, please go through our verification process to lift the AML flag https://mtgox.com/forms/verification

We sincerely apologize for the issue you are having and would appreciate your cooperation through this matter.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beware of MTgox Yubikey on: February 01, 2012, 08:44:34 AM
You can apparently order a new one sent to your address without sending the old one back for far less money.  Do that instead.
They don't do that anymore either. According to them without mailing it back your pretty much screwed now. Definitely do not want to lose your yubikey or your in big troubles.

Hello,

You may still order a new Yubikey from https://yubikey.mtgox.com/ which will replace the old Yubikey linked to your account.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I asked MtGox for some of my BTC 10 days ago and still don't have them. on: January 23, 2012, 06:49:29 AM
The transfer in question is confirmed as having already been processed and credited to recipient's account as of Fri 13 Jan 2012 07:12:25 PM JST. Please be aware that transfer to 1JcMWSggw3mnFanp81HMeBCtKyFJwJ253S is an intra transfer. When BTC is sent to another Mt.Gox address, the transfer is done instantly and will not appear on the BTC network.

12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MTGox Withdraws on: November 02, 2011, 06:23:12 AM
Hello. I can't post in the non-newbie topic regarding it, so I thought I'd start one here.

Has anyone been having not only slow BTC withdraws but very slow Dwolla withdraws? I submitted one on the 26th along with a request ticket but have had no response as of yet.

I'm sorry about the situation you are having. Did someone from Mt.Gox Support respond to your ticket yet?
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox cash deposits down on: October 31, 2011, 03:59:07 AM
We are sorry about the delay. The truth is that we don't know how long it will take to process the deposit. It has taken anywhere from less than 24 hours to several business days. We will keep you updated.
14  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: mtgox requires physical identification on: October 26, 2011, 06:02:57 AM
I upload notarized translations (that cost me ~30 BTC equivalent as a reward to the translator and notarius) and reopen ticket.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chase Bank to offer deposits for MTGox on: October 21, 2011, 09:37:36 AM
Hello,

We have been working to get our back end to interface/parse with the Chase site, as they don't offer an easy way to do this. We had the scripts working in pre-prod however when we moved it to production we were unable to fetch the deposit receipts.

We apologize for the delay and our inaccurate forecasting of when this was to be completed. I've just check with MagicalTux and he has advised it will be available "soon", so just know we're working on it.

As a side note, anytime anything goes wrong people love to say Mt.Gox is insolvent, or we're running away with the money. I'd like to remind everyone that practically anytime a new product or service is launched under _any_ company, there are initial issues (sparing a few). We are not exempt from these, and always manage to get things up and running without running off with the whole of our users money.

I hope everyone can keep this in mind the next time we're "going insolvent", or planning to "rob our customers". Tongue

Since you guys can't interface with the Chase site and your scripts are not working properly (which I have a hard time believing, but OK), I suggest you do it the easy way....

1. Logon to Chase.Com
2. Click Your Business Account
3. Look at our deposits and click on the icon right next to the deposit
4. Voila! The image of our deposit slips come up.
5. Credit our accounts with OUR $$$

Or you can always call 1-800-935-9935 (Chase's customer service) and they'll fax/email you copies of all deposit slips within an hour.

Seriously, Mt.Gox this doesn't take 72 hours. This takes minutes.

And then you question us on why we think you're shady. I've been working for banks since the age of 18. Can you imagine if I were to withhold one of my customer's deposits and give them the runaround on why it can't be processed? I would get fired on the spot.

SMH @ you guys.

edit: Answer this question Adam....why can't you guys follow those easy steps I just gave you? In fact, I can get my buddy who's a Chase personal banker to email you ALL copies of our deposits tomorrow morning if you'd like.

Unfortunately, Mt.Gox is a very large exchange and we have a very large number of cash deposits that have been made. We can not just process it manually one by one because our system requires a deposit to be linked to a bank transfer. We are fixing our interface right now which will be ready very soon, so that all cash deposits show up within the system correctly.

Fair enough. I just hope to get my money in my account very soon.

Edit: Finally in my account! woohoo  Grin

Thank you for waiting. Yay (・∀・) We will try our best to make sure users are getting their money credited on time. Let us know if you have additional suggestions.

are dwolla withdrawals taking awhile again?  it's only been a couple days but prior to this I was used to seeing the deposits show up in an hour or less from mt gox > dwolla

If any of your Dwolla withdrawals are not going through, please contact the support desk.  We will look into it for you.

And receive an automated response.

Dwolla deposits should be going through now. If yours haven't, it is usually because we have to reprocess your transfer. So just open a ticket if you haven't, and we will do that for you Smiley

I have a Dwolla account but I rather not add it to my Mt.Gox account due to my M.I.A. Chase cash deposit that you guys won't pay attention to. Can you tell I'm extremely frustrated?  Cry

I do understand your frustration. Trust me, I'd be upset too. We are still processing all the pending cash deposits. We will let users know as soon as it is completed and credited to your account. We will try to improve the processing method so that it won't take this long for a cash deposit to process.

So, I'd like to report that this process is not working smoothly.

I made a deposit more than 36 hours ago, scanned and emailed my deposit reciept to MtGox, and the funds still haven't been credited.  Several emails to their support team keep getting the same response: "We will notify you when your cash deposit is credited to your account."

ExchB credited my deposits within an hour most of the time, and never even once took more than two hours.

*sigh*

No big deal if the price stays where it is, but it sure will stink if it suddenly goes up 25% (which is quite possible considering the gigantic plunge the price just took).

We are sorry that this is taking awhile to process. Your cash deposits are being cleared and processed by Chase as of now. As soon as it is credited to your account, you will be notified by a Mt.Gox Support staff.
