Next time you do a screenshot make sure you catch a volume.
I wouldn't care much about place at coinmarketcap. Look at what is most wanted and traded out there and compare dash to your signature shitcoin. Dash's volume is almost always 10x bigger.
BTW, many coins, like your beloved one, is spewing out coins like crazy helping to be higher at cmc.

I'm going to concur with what MM said, and go one step further. Dash has a real development team who are doing real work to push forward a real change in the usability and decentralization of cryptocurrency (Dash Evolution). For our dev team, it's a matter of priorities. Sure, they could code the 2 MB blocks and spend a few weeks shepherding us through the fork, but why do so when we don't need to? Unlike some coins, who have to adopt tech that they don't need just to get some good press, Dash continues to develop real features that will take us to the top...in the long run.
Yes, if we had implemented 2 MB blocks that same month, we probably would have gotten a little price pump from it. Yes, if we had been the first coin to implement SegWit, we probably would have gotten a little price pump from it. The difference between us and other coins is that when we don't need things, we don't implement them just to get some temporary media attention and price action. From my interactions with the team, they work just as hard today as they did when Dash was $4, and will work just as hard when Dash is $500.
You want short term profits? Find coins that implement features that are unneeded just to get a pump. You want long-term value? You'll find it in Dash.

According to Evan, nothing in Dash is fixed. He may change the total supply any time he wants to. It's already happened once.  Just to let you know, your beloved Evan is not core dev anymore . I'm interested in your opinion? For me it's just entertainment and interesting to see how these issues work out, I do not like ETH in any of it's forms, never had, DAO even less so, I put 100 BTC in to the ETH IPO which gave me 200,000 ETH to play with, but I got out fairly soon after the launch with a decent 100% + profit, though far too early as it turns out because ppl wanted for it to be BTC_2 and all get rich as the BTC early adapters did (or some of them) even though it had tons of unresolved problems, but silly me I should have anticipated that so a $3MM to $4MM lesson learned last January, oppps = never underestimate human greed and stupidity. I certainly didn't sell any DASH to play in the current ETH ETC craziness, though I did make a small foray in to another Alt recently in order to add a few BTC for my current DASH bid wall.  Thanks, good GAME 200,000 ETH would be = 13 Million in todays dollars when ETH + ETC combined. Wholy Shit Big money! At least for me, its all relative I suppose. (Its not a good time to buy Dash though Mastertrader says he is going to slam it down to 0.0345 ) Wonder if Otohs other alt was litecoin? In my books, Dark coin is not considered as a scam coin/"shitcoin" anymore the reason being the simple fact that they have been able to pump is higher than the initial pump.
As a speculator, I do not care too much about having the shiniest tech but the fact that the price goes higher than during the previous pumps. Shitcoins cannot do it.
As a speculator I don't care about many things but I care about the truth nonetheless. Only people who call it scam are childish speculator who missed great opportunetes or are gulibble enough to believe in every lies and spins coming from deceitfull trolls like iCEBREAKER and even xmr dev fluffypony.
