1  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 12, 2016, 10:13:44 AM
I would save it. Bitcoin is still in its early days really so would take the gamble with it as a long term investment. If bitcoin ever went to over 1k again though I would probably sell a couple in the meantime.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: March 29, 2016, 09:58:22 AM
What I like best about bitcoin is that it is anonymous that is a good thing but people use it for the wrong reasons.
Also do I like the low transactions cost compared to the banks, it is just so much cheaper.

Wrong reasons? It's a currency so people should be able to use it on anything they want good or bad. Without a black market bitcoin wouldnt be where it is today and even if it never gets adopted fully by the mainstream it will still have a use so good for everyone if we want bitcoin to retain its value and not collapse.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People mocking of me for using Bitcoin on: March 14, 2016, 02:01:02 PM
Why would you care what others think? I'm sure the people who first used computers/mobile phones/the internet were all mocked at first. With that being said I wouldn't try sell it to people as a guaranteed investment of 'going to the moon'. Most people will probably juust think its a too good to be true scam or something and nothing is guaranteed. Bitcoin could as easily just collapse or become obsolete then you will look silly and those people who mocked you will be pretty smug. Just explain the positives and negatives and make sure theyre aware of the risks. They'll probably respect you more for that.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: February 29, 2016, 06:09:00 PM
Purely for an investment though I would like to spend them on things in the future. Hopefully more places accept them worldwide so you can pay for things on your holidays. I think it's quite easy to make money on bitcoins especially with the fluctuations and the upcoming halving so now is definitely a good time to buy.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2016, 04:02:59 PM
For me it's must being part of this revolution.
There is not much usability. But yet I believe it will come.

Uow, just take a deeper look at this forum and you'll find a thousand usabilities to it! Investment, buying stuff from people across the globe, borrow money, etc etc...

Well of course you can buy lots of things on this forum but it's tiny in the grand scheme of things. For it be seen as a proper currency by the mainstream it's going to need to be accepted on the high-street and many more online sites and not just the niche few we have at the moment. It wlil hopefully get there eventually but it's not going to happen overnight.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: February 01, 2016, 11:42:49 AM
1btc / 12 = 0.08333333333. It's really not that hard to earn that much from this forum. You could easily do that on a sig campaign and if you build your account up to a decent rank you could sell it or something but having a steady income of btc would be better imo.

Hi guys,
How can I earn 1BTC a year?
is it possible? if so how?

By the way, my brother is already member of this forum, will I(or he) problem if we use the same IP but different PCs?

1btc a year is a low income why not try 5-10btc a year but youll need to work harder.
Can it  be posible to have 5-10 btc a year?  5-10 btc are big money for me how money hourse have to work for to have 5 -10 btc and how can do it ? can you explain it for me?

I'm sure, it's possible to earn 5-10 bitcoin in year or even more by gambling. I'm not suggest you to gambling but i think gambling the easiest way to earn 5-10 or more bitcoin in a year.

Sure it's possible but you're almost certainly going to lose more. How many people have you seen on this forum boasting about how much they've won or are in profit? Next to nobody but compare that to how many people you see complaining that they lost money or casinos are 'rigged' (ie just being a sore loser).
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin Classic" is a classic attempt at a hostile takeover on: January 18, 2016, 06:51:04 PM
I think this whole debate is a big problem and there's fud coming from both sides and I guess with bitcoin meaning to be decentralized but at the same time having a handful of devs in charge is where there's a paradox and also where the problem is. How can anyone ever agree to something like this? People are always going to be biased and have their own financial interests and that's the big issue. This is why I don't like the Foundation as well as it has been taken over by those with financial interest in trying to steer bitcoin in a direction they want it to go to try maximize profit. I just wish they would increase the blocksize so we can all just move on. It needs to happen sooner or later but when or whether everyone agrees to it is another matter.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Running Bitcoin core over public wifi on: December 21, 2015, 05:26:17 PM
Are you just wanting to use the wallet? Is it essential that you use bitcoincore? I much prefer a lite client as it was a pain for me having to download the blockchain all the time and it will stop you worrying about bandwidth etc.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion - 2015/16 Season on: December 08, 2015, 10:24:35 AM
Interesting how "Other" seemed impossible at the start of the season but now Leicester City actually seems like a possibile winner for the league.

Sadly I really don't think they will be able to keep it up. I think their next game is against Chelsea and tt me that will be a decider for both teams. If they beat them then I think they could have a shot and Chelsea might be staying in the lower half of the table for the rest of the season.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: November 23, 2015, 02:46:46 PM
I think it's worth it. 1 btc isn't very much to invest in and you could either sell it as soon as it rises by 50-100$ again or hold it long term. Personally I would [prefer to hold it long term as I think there's big gains to be made later down the line but with one bitcoin you could afford to take the risk.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: The first social media you ever used? on: November 08, 2015, 06:47:39 PM
My very first one I signed up to was Friends Reunited but I pretty much just signed up to see what all the fuss was a bout then never used it again. The first one I used significantly was Myspace but that's pretty much dead now. Now it's all about Facebook/Twitter etc.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are in green 6 weeks in a row first time in 2 years on: October 26, 2015, 02:36:47 PM
This is going to be humongous. 1000$ ATH will be dwarfed like a little bitch.

I don't think we should get too excited yet. Give it a couple of weeks and the price will likely be back down to where it was though I hope I;m wrong. Can't see it going back to anywhere near $1000 either anytime soon. Think we'll probably ave to wait a couple of years to see those sorts of figures again.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 12, 2015, 03:06:31 PM
I just noticed that there are 5 votes in Dark Web Shopping. What is this anyway? Are this activity are present in those deep websites? Is this illegal? Is bitcoin really accepted by those shops?

Do not use your bitcoins in Dark Web. Do not feed the illegal network with bitcoins. This activity damage it. Is this use of bitcoin that make that most of the important people that make decisions in our countries define bitcoin as dirty currency.

Bitcoin got its first big break because of people using it on the darknet and if it wasn't for people still using it on the darknet it probably wouldn't be worth as much as it is now and without it we would be much worse off. We cant be held responsible for what people use it on or what the ignorant think of it either nor should we care. If its going to be seen as a viable currency then people are going to use it for everything good or bad and whether you like it or not.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Max Keiser interviews me about NXT in Lamborghini! :) on: September 28, 2015, 12:06:58 PM
What is it about people in crypto and Lamborghinis? I think if bitcoin ever goes to the moon again there will be a shortage of lambos as half the people on this forum will buy one  Grin.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: September 14, 2015, 02:25:33 PM
1btc a year.. you can earn that in 1yr by faucet. everyday... but you can earn 1btc in just one month or 2 months by doing another way.
try coinbase register there and invite people to join to your referal and if the referal peorse got buy 1btc on coinbase you can earn 0.1 plus btc. invite more and told him to buy bitcoin and you can earn btc much easy and afast...

Lol why waste time or a year trying to earn 1btc from a faucet. You could earn it in a couple of months from a signature campaign and at least its not mind numbing. Faucets are a waste of time trying to get anything significant.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: August 29, 2015, 02:23:47 PM
Until I can go on holiday and spend coins its not a global currency, though it sure can achieve that within our lifetimes.

It's hardly a global currency when hardly any place around the world accepts it. We've got a long way to go before it achieves this title but it certainly has the potential but it's not going to happen over night. And USD isn't a global currency either. Sure, there are many countries that accept it or even have it as their defacto currency but I can't buy anything in my country or most places in Europe with it. In fact, I've probably got more chance of being able to spend my bitcoins over dollars.

USD is considered a global currency, because every central bank in the world keeps some reserves of it and usually import/export is being made with USD.

Do you have sources for that. I couldn't go to any of my banks and pay in dollars thats for sure.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: August 29, 2015, 02:21:09 PM
can't wait till all the 21 millions btc are mined and they slowly start getting lost. then the price would skyrocket.

You'll be dead before that ever happens. However, there will be several block reward halvings which if the demand is still strong should push the value up.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Song are you Listening To? on: August 17, 2015, 05:39:39 PM
i am listening to one of the greatest rock bands in the history of rock and roll music, AC/DC with their song Highway to hell.
that`s a motivational song !!

What's motivational about it?  Grin. My favorite Ac/dc song is Thunderstruck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2AC41dglnM

Or maybe Back in Black  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAgnJDJN4VA
