Had an Instagram follower near Phoenix who volunteered to check this out for 5 CannabisCoins.
When asked about the size and how he can spend his CANN:

Let me preface this by saying that while I think it's awesome what you're doing for medicinal herb, creating a mesh network with crypto is awesome and imho, was inevitable.
What I don't understand is, how does this payment method navigate the fuzziness of state/federal conflict regarding the medicinal application of dankerbs?
From what I read it seems that CannabisCoin is a strain-exclusive (or restricted, depending on outlook) payment method..is this correct? Please inform me if I am mistaken. Is this just a temporary framework during the outset stages of the propagation of CannabisCoin as a source payment method or something that's more permanent?
I live in SoCal and participate in our medicinal pot program and am very particular about procuring anything that's not top-shelf/tier pot, that's what's fueling my curiosity in this regard.
In any regard I think it's awesome that this effort is being made. And for the morons who called the baby-dank, shwag...well, that's just it. You're morons.
devs, someone in the know, plz correct me. but from what i gather they're already talking about another strain called 'black beauty', i've seen mention of merch being sold using CANN, and i even asked about seeds/clones for personal use (patient from cali here) and they replied back saying seeds were a future possibility. and just to put this out there so ya'll can run the numbers, yesterday morning i picked up 14.2g of og wreck ( http://www.leafly.com/hybrid/og-wreck) for $130 'on sale' and also got 1.2g of mendo chem for free (punch card deal) - makes me wanna drive out to AZ monday! |

D9 - You should see if you can donate some nugs to Doug Benson for the show 'Getting Doug with high'. Maybe that's not practical in a different state, but he'll probably mention Cannabiscoin in his 'Pot Topics' segment at some point soon.
+1 Good call, I watch his show and he's definitely one for mentioning a cool idea or product. I remember the episode where Andreas A. was on Joe Rogan's podcast and people were donating to Joe's newly acquired Android bitcoin wallet, he was shocked at how quick and easy it was to donate. |

People continue to make the market-cap argument relentlessly in this thread, but I believe that it is flawed & this coin truly can have a valuation of 1 billion dollars. Regardless of whether every coin-holder will be able to buy weed with cannabiscoins in the next year, or even if 20% of coin-holders can do that. Marijuana is something that resonates with a lot of people. There are whole cultures and social circles, documentaries, prisoners, books, medicines, scientific research etc. It is in some way involved in the lives of tens of millions of people, and as the dev emphasizes, incredibly important for the many people who use it as a medicine. Now here we are, in the year 2014, at a time where cryptocurrency has been born and legitimized, medical marijuana is sweeping the nation, and recreational marijuana is being legalized and decriminalized. We have a dev who is actually good at acting on his plans, this guy is an achiever. He's networking well, growing medical-grade cannabis in large quantities, and created a cryptocurrency that is currently valued at $3.3 million dollars. Yet this man continues to say that it is all about the patients for them & he is happy to share medicine with them and improve their lives. It is a perfect convergence of events. What I'm saying is, the actual dispensary-market for this coin will initially be relatively small, yes, but we don't need the dev to be shipping 100 tons of pot by the trainload to give this coin a $1B valuation.

Can someone tell me when cannabis will be selling for 1gram/1Cann at the HWC on the 20th, will there be a customer order limit per day or week? For example 4 grams per day limit
did i read 3g per day, per patient somewhere? i could be completely off... |
