1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: July 19, 2022, 09:00:33 AM
I fear that this issue of inflation has also had an effect on the security of lives and property. We need no percentage to estimate and say that the level of insecurity has risen and it is evident from my all around us with more desperate individuals who are willing to do or go any length to be able to survive

Everything is connected in the end because of high inflation, alot people will be doing things that they shouldnt do to survive. Its all about survival in the end and inflation will not affect the rich that much, all those poor people at the bottom will be getting the severe effect first so that will also rise the security issue for all other people
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Recent Experience at a Land-Based Casino on: July 08, 2022, 08:41:16 AM
If you were the casino manager would you fire the casino worker for interfering with your business or would you ban the gambler from visiting the casino?

He already do what is the right thing as a human but it's not professional for him to do that while he is working. He has alot of other time to tell that guy to stop going to a casino but he choose to do it on the casino itself while working so I don't think he will be fired but disciplinary action needed for him
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mexican senator proposes bill to make Bitcoin legal tender on: July 05, 2022, 07:55:09 AM
Even if the bill passes, a big portion of the unbanked population will remain the same, since the internet penetration rate in Mexico stands at roughly 74% only and I have a strong feeling that most Mexicans with incomes below the poverty line, probably wouldn't use something as volatile as BTCitcoin either.

This idea may not have the immediate solution to all of the Mexican economic problem but it's a good option for now instead of just relying on the old banking system. Besides that if the bill passes, it will be headlines for alot of media out there and some other countries will also consider the same idea for their country
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 04, 2022, 10:46:39 AM
Gabriel Jesus is official and this is a new force for Arteta with Arsenal who will make the competition even more competitive in the near future, but I'm sure there will be good changes that Arteta will work on with Arsenal.
However, we will see that the transfer window still has time so that Arteta can bring in a few more players, but this is a transfer that has been highlighted a lot because he has managed to sign Gabriel Jesus at such a young age.

He is a good player but I don't think he should be even worth that much. He only scored 12 goals last season and all competition combined so that's not really that impressive. Also that Manchester City has the best midfielders squad that could supply him with great assist so I don't know if he could do better in Arsenal
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What the f..ck is wrong with the world,EU and crypto ? on: July 02, 2022, 08:09:22 AM
Crypto was supposed to be a decentralized means of payment, to escape banks and governments regulation, now it seems governments are trying to take control of crypto and the internet.

There is nothing that we can do about it. Unless you are as rich as Elon Musk then you can do something but as long as crypto is not banned or considered as illegal then it's fine for now. Everything takes time and in 10 more years alot of people will be relying on crypto then after that crypto will be out of reach from the government
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rocketpot.io refusing to pay out 170k win on: July 01, 2022, 08:51:49 AM
I already had a total of 4K in withdrawals earlier in the week. So according to their terms what was left on the limit was $6000 total for the week. Their limits are max 10k/week and 20k/month. So assuming they do pay out I’ll be able to receive another 10k starting next week.

It's still an insane good amount of money 20k each month if they intended to pay it out but depends on how their business is, they might back off from this deal as I don't think they can pay all of it to begin with and is just trying to stall as much time to retain their reputation. Anyway let all of us know if they will honor the remaining 6k for this week

7  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesia's new digital nomad visa allows tax free living on: June 30, 2022, 09:18:24 AM
it will end up being a good deal for only "rich" digital nomads. Then again, why would anyone rich go to Indonesia?
Maybe I will be wrong, most probably not.

If you are a rich nomads then you could live a luxury life in Indonesia with cheaper cost compare to all other country in Europe. It is a good deal for most people because in general Indonesian salary is around $300 a month or even less for most citizen there so if you only earn around $1000-2000 a month then you could live luxury life in Indonesia but that's not enough to live in some country like Dubai

Finally today I reached 5 BTC wagered  Smiley I did it in 3 weeks

Congrats on making it in very short time bro. Is there any other VIP benefit that you can get after 5 btc wagered or is it still the same as the last one ? That you have to wager 5mbtc for 7 days to get 1mbtc

I'm still trying to wager 1 BTC so that I can also enjoy this rakeback benefits and it will take quite long time because I'm low on balance now
9  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: June 13, 2022, 03:24:51 PM
I'm surprised no one has bumped this thread today, or maybe it's just too early in the day.

Too early in the day.
I started plugging numbers in my excel, but every time I look at the market, I have to update those red calculations. So I gave up.
This is going to hit MSRT balance sheets really hard on the third quarter. At least they have plenty of time to hope for a market bounce.

The red day has just started, the lowest price has hit our portfolio. I dont think it will happen in the short term because the Fed still make a tight policy to handle inflation of their country. Not only the crypto market get the bearish moment but also every risk market get the impact. This will happen more than one month, until the Fed will start relaxing their policy.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: June 12, 2022, 03:57:50 PM

PayPal allowing users to transact real digital tokens means their procedures on KYC/AML, accounting, regulatory are mature enough to allow them (PayPal) to deal with those topics with a relatively low risk.
This is yet another example of institutional adoption of Bitcoin.

Their business is one of a sunset industry if they can't improve their business strategy, why I say its sunset industry because there are many e-wallet or payment gateway which provide an easiness for their users. Crypto is a new invention in financial industry which give us freedom for our trancations without any country limitation or anything else, as long as user enter the market, wherever we are, wa can get the access. This is one of my view, the main reason why they have to upgrade. Although their new strategy can't give much effect for the market at least their company keep exist with new transformation.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: June 08, 2022, 03:35:56 PM

Rich people might still suffering losses but they are still ahead or in good condition yet they could still sustain theirselves in terms of necessities which is primarily needed for survival thats why lets just accept the reality

in between the differences.Yes, the current war did really make some toll on increasing gas/petrol prices which do really make people do suffer even more.We arent get used to these things on a very short span of time.
We know that needs and wants do really increase their value or price but not on this kind of situation where everything is really on fast pace changing which we arent get use to as i said.

The global economic condition isn't good at all, the Fed made some policies for make their economic become stable. Inflation which happens make every country prepare their policy because this will happen in the long time. Not only the poor get the impact but also the rich, there are many companies which has fired the human resource to save their company. Yesterday, I heard from my family that one of his member got fired without any notification before. They go home with some money of their compensation. I'm shock, he's my close family and his company has shown signs of bankruptcy.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: LMAO: India resells Russian oil to the European Union. on: June 08, 2022, 02:39:25 PM

What is clear is that the EU cannot magically stop consuming all the oil and gas it used to buy from Russia. It can gradually reduce it as it installs more renewables, as it has been doing for years.

I think there is a lot of window-dressing going on here, and I would like to see how they approach energy policy in the medium term, not to mention the long term, as politicians are not usually capable of thinking beyond one term of office. For me the lesser evil is to install more nuclear power plants, because fossil fuels mean putting the EU in the hands of other countries, many of them dictatorships. And to make a fool of themselves as in this case.

Any sanction which is given to the Russian can't be implemented fully 100%, the fact is every countries have need each others. So, India talked about their business, although They really understand and know that what They did was wrong but it doesn't matter. They will give us a rational reason to avoid any bad impact. We know that if we talk about profit, although the country is doing war each other but the societies need money to fulfill their daily needs. Business must go on whatever is going on.
13  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] Tempat Belajar Gratis! Materi Blockchain & Cryptocurrency untuk Pemula on: June 07, 2022, 04:27:02 PM

Back to the topic, pemula yang ingin belajar crypto dan blockchainnya hanya butuh modal niat.

14  Economy / Economics / Re: Block Report: Bitcoin: Knowledge and Perceptions on: June 06, 2022, 06:11:44 PM
Also... outside the Americas, more women than men think they know more about Bitcoin. Pretty unexpected.

The reason why women have higher percentage than men because they are more willing to take high risks. They are better prepare to lose anything they have when invested their money in Bitcoin. We all know that Bitcoin is really high risk investment, even men made long consideration to decide invest Bitcoin, but it doesn't apply to the women. The long process or consideration on men's mind made women become one step ahead, and that really makes sense when the data show us the fact.

15  Economy / Economics / Re: OMG crypto is low ! what do i do ? on: April 03, 2022, 02:53:51 PM
Once you have a product that people would need, then it is definitely going to sell.

The main point is people need, when we create anything which is based on our will and not based on need so it will be useless. How many project become scam when they just wanna make FOMO in the market. Not only token, NFT and etc, there are many people try to find a instant way to earn money but they never think the risk. Even just trade some of coin such as BTC and the risk is a bearish market, but if u really unaware this is one of the risk so maybe u will cut loss as soon as possible.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia Was Prepared to Withstand Sanctions. Why Wasn't Europe Prepared to Impose on: April 01, 2022, 03:05:37 PM
What should we do if this war was happening until now. The effect of this war get massive to every country such as in Indonesia. Since the war has been started, the oil price become too expensive and rare even the diesel oil is difficult to be found. Not only Ukraine but also most of country feel worry with the world sustainability. Not only European make a wrong decision in manage their needs, but also another country which let this war happen.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: March 30, 2022, 05:10:43 PM

Personally, I prefer to practice delayed gratification so that the reward will be bigger and more satisfying the moment it's already the right and perfect timing. It could be different to you and to others because some might have cash out now because they need to in order to survive or get by.

The condition of their portfolios that have bought in 2017 is of course very profitable, and if they take the right momentum at the beginning of May 2021, of course their profits are very appropriate for withdrawals.  Although it would be better if it extended the hold duration so that it would reach new ath at an uncertain time.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dubai school accept Bitcoin As a Tuition Fees on: March 30, 2022, 03:11:22 PM
I decided to read about the school, and it seems oriented towards the digital world (the first image on their website is a kid in a VR headset), so I suppose accepting cryptos is natural for it. As for the fees, they seem quite typical for a high-quality education of a private school, and the fee is in line with the average for an international private school in Dubai. Since the school is very new, it's unclear how popular it will become and what sort of education they'll provide, but it's good that they're open towards cryptos from the beginning. It should be mentioned, though, that the fees will be converted to fiat automatically, so it's not exactly fully embracing cryptos, but still.

Although this wont influence significantly but the adoption will remain give a positive vibe in the market. They have educate people in the school to know more about crypto. Maybe there is still people who didn't know what is crypto because there's chance to pay in crypto, make them know about crypto indirectly. This is my simple thinking way.
19  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [DISKUSI] Harga Bitcoin on: March 29, 2022, 04:29:17 PM

Agan agan disini uda paham banget lah.
20  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [DISKUSI] Harga Bitcoin on: March 28, 2022, 04:18:05 PM
