Initially it felt as if you were just pointing out the obvious, but now I understand the constructive criticism.

I try not to be ambiguous by definition of legitimate or anything of the sort. The goal is to cut the fat in the altcoin community. Providing an environment for trade improves the lives for all, we want to set the bar for others to follow.

Thank you for noticing about the astronomical task at hand I have on my plate.

The goal is to give the public notice that we are trying to narrow down the coins we see as successful and maintain a tighter library of altcoins on our exchange.
Legitimate is defined as "real, accepted, or official".
We aim to make sure the altcoin does its job as advertised and not just smoke and mirrors.
I am sorry you felt as if I was trying to be a all powerful authority figure.
You must know Bittrex has no intention to be extremists in any fashion.

This is just the beginning of BCT I assume.

1. Whether it be the case of combing the github to make sure the network does what it says it does, or going out to Phoenix, AZ to check out the CANN dev's operation. I won't believe just words on a forum post. It is a community service Bittrex will provide.

2. Bittrex has and will continue to step up the process to add coins, if you have a presentation to an under represented market, I would love to hear about it.

3. A multitude of things that Bittrex finds relevant to boost the crypto economy as a whole.

4. Moderated in a sense of me surveying it carefully. I am sorry for the confusion.

5. I've been in Crypto longer than most people that lurk in IRC or forums. My first trade was buying ~2000 BTC for $250 then I sold them for a $150 profit. I never want to make that mistake again even though at the time that was good profit. I mined on my laptop when CPU mining was the only available option and made about 10BTC which I lost the private keys to. Started just interested in the idea, but grew to a trust when I realized Crypto could be a global infrastructure for trade. Been trading alts since December 2013 and I enjoyed that ride, but now its time to buckle down and give my part to help Crypto rather than sit on the sidelines.

Felt the need to introduce myself to the Marketplace since a lot of identity issues are in crypto.
Bittrex has built its membership to a well recognized level and adding a new member can be scary.
Name is Matthew Williams and I live in Texas., I say howdy a lot and I can't stop it.

I am the guy to come to if you want to confirm legitimacy of an altcoin and/or want to conduct meetings on why your coin has potential.
I will be investigating among the alt-coin community and so expect me to be prominent in different areas of crypto.

This thread will be moderated and is intended for people to ask questions about who I am and to better define my job description publicly.

If this gets out of hand, (crosses fingers) then it will be shut down without warning. Please understand why that might be.
