1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adam Guerbuez claims some very big news is coming for Bitcoin this friday on: January 15, 2015, 07:31:59 PM
Whatever this big news is, it would be hard to see it having anything but a positive impact on Bitcoin in the long run.  All I ever read now is multi-million $ crowd funding results for technology businesses all over the world trying to develop new ways to use and integrate Bitcoin into the wider world.  Get your Bitcoins while they are not mainstream!
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoin Dissertation - Captivating system! on: October 24, 2014, 09:26:51 AM
Alright guys, new on the forum - I am a mature (debateable!) student in the final year of a degree in Computer Science and decided to do a research dissertation on the fascinating subject of Bitcoin.

I have been watching from a far for a little while but until recently not really looked at it in depth.  Choosing something that not only interests me but is relatively new and exciting a lot of people means that there is an awful lot of reading out there that I could get very lost in (possibly irrelevant / beyond my technical ability) so need to make sure that I make the majority of my research as focused as possible.  I already have Satoshi's white paper as well as a number of other published papers that I have got to go through but wanted to throw it out to you experienced guys to see if there are any resources that you know of that would be beneficial?  Especially anything focused on security of what I understand as being the fundamental systems within Bitcoin! (Mining, Transfer, Storage and Exchange)

Hope to be contributing to discussions before too long.

Thanks for any help / comments!
