"solid investment" Huh Scamming bastards.

Still waiting to see my hardware in Giga-watt's control panel... 5 months and counting.

Agree, complete crap.
My tokens are 100% not rented. They gave tokens, but they do not have capacity. Scam
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡⛏️[ANN] Giga Watt: Best Home for your Mining. Starts today! on: January 14, 2018, 02:45:20 AM

you can ask: Why would the token be expensive?
Why are hundreds of other expensive tokens being useless?
for example: ZCL. I bought for 2$ a few months ago. I sold for 200$
Why prices explode?  Becouse the whole crypto market is one big speculation and greed is the nature of man.

Newbies like Gigawatt so much... I remember they also loved ZeusMiner back in time. Guy was praising ZeusHash a day before they closed - because he felt like love them.

And Paycoins. I remember very similar words for Paycoin. It will grow forever - just because of ...

I withdrew my miners from there. They ship out - I can not deny, this works fine (so far?).

When they go bankrupt from the law suite (the owner already has experience going bankrupt - so he knows how to do this right Smiley   ), or anything else there in a pipeline - I will loose only coins.

I will try to sell them at EtherDelta...

Hello guys,

Placed an order with PinIdea on January 1, 2018.

Since then never heart back from them.

Not shipping, not replying.

Anybody else has the same issue? Hope, this is not an exit scam...

7  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] The Hedge Coin Group - Bulk Miner Hosting & Sales - 50 MW - Mongolia on: January 03, 2018, 10:46:21 PM

Hello!

Of course! We want to present our facilities in the best light possible. We will have a couple thousand machines in it around Late January/Early Feb. We know that no one would want to see an empty facility, nor would it prove anything, thus we have been waiting.

THCG (The Hedge Coin Group)

I want to see empty facility - plus transformers and wiring. Absence of any pictures makes you very suspicious, its a a deal breaker.

Besides - I do not want to see a facility full of machines - with no room left for my.

Can   You   Please   Post   Pictures   Now?

Thanks

Hi!

Sorry for the late response! We were away for the holiday season! We stated before in the thread that our photographer backed out of the photo shoot and have currently been busy dealing with other business details with regards to the facility.

We have decided that our photos currently are adequate enough until we fill the facility up more, which will most likely be around February. We do not see much point in having photos taken of an empty facility and would much rather show a filled up facility!

We will get a photo up with our company name, the date, and our handles for reddit and bitcointalk up soon though.

If you have any other questions or concerns let me know!

Thanks,

THCG (The Hedge Coin Group)

Update:

We are changing our policy with regards to import fees! In order to minimize the upfront costs for you guys we will pay for the import taxes until your machines are set up and you can pay with the earnings you get from your machines later!

We also will have shipping done to our warehouse in Mongolia to reduce shipping costs! The warehouse will be used to do QA and QC on all machines we receive to ensure their quality before and after they exit out warehouse.

Thanks,

THCG (The Hedge Coin Group)

Please post picture of the facility as is. After you fill it - post more pictures - will add credibility. And you do not need "professional photographer", just use your cell. Otherwise seems very suspicious (IMO)

I received my tokens today but I have seen that I can not send them to HitBTC for example. Etherdelta was hacked days ago. Have they said when they will put the token on other exchanges?

It would be better to hold it or rent it out while no new exchange for WTT. You can still earn while waiting and remaining PODs is not yet complete.

I can see that WTT value will probably rise up once more just like before since the token is limited.

I'm not sure if the tokens are really limited as their whitepaper indicates that they have the right to offer more coins as they need to get money so they can build out more pods.

I'm not sure that they care about the people that gave them money.  Although they are giving out an extra 10% percentage of tokens to those that have been exceedingly delayed.

I am sorry, what is your definition of "exceedingly"?

I am waiting for 6 months already - is this exceedingly or not? Should I expect 10% compensation? Smiley

I just know for sure - I am absolutely done with them, will not buy from them anything anymore.

Anyone here hosting with cryptominer.ca ? Just wondering if any good reviews on them

Sorry for probably late reply to that, but I have my miners with cryptominer.ca , and I am quite happy with them.

Maxime (the owner) is very responsive, I have no issues with the service they provide. Fees are very reasonable too.

The only draw back - they are at full capacity now Sad
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡⛏️[ANN] Giga Watt: Best Home for your Mining. Starts today! on: November 30, 2017, 09:42:08 PM
I understand that 1 WTT token is supported by exactly 1 Watt of capacity. I hear people have problem renting tokens out - so there is free capacity.

However when I asked their Customer Service about that, I was told to come back in January...
Due to delays and long deployment process it happed that currently there were more tokens issued than mining capacities working, that is why there are people with tokens who can't rent out 100%.   I am about 15% of tokens not rented out, and rest is rented out.

But this situation should change in December when most rigs will be deployed, and those who rent out now, will start using these tokens for themselves to mine.

That is why GW says to you to come in January.  They are not sure how thig will go, because there may always appear new requirements from US officials which may delay deployment again.

Thanks for answering!

So you are saying the problem is in their slow deployment process, not shortage of power capacity?

Can somebody (hopefully Giga-Watt representative) explain me why I can not send my own miner for hosting?

I understand that 1 WTT token is supported by exactly 1 Watt of capacity. I hear people have problem renting tokens out - so there is free capacity.

However when I asked their Customer Service about that, I was told to come back in January...

I bought tokens, batch 4, so potentially I am legit client.

Their instruction says you need to have a miner AND tokens - then you are in line for deployment... How does rent exactly happen then?

I did not get answers to these questions do far,

and their silence makes it appear as Ponzi... I am really getting concerned about my investment. Do they really have capacity they claim?

Hope to get clear answer

P.S.
Not trying to troll, really would like to know how renting (on receiving end) happens? Somebody says he rented out 70% - so 30% is still available- right?
Was anybody able to host their by renting WTT?

I received that:

//Hello

//Thanks for your inquiry and welcome to Giga Watt.

//For hosting own miners, we're looking at possible January availability. If you are still interested come the first of the year, please get back in contact with us then to inquiry about open power capacity availability. For //hosting plans and fees please visit Giga-Watt.com for hardware purchase, please visit GigaWatt.sg
//Thank you

Hello,

Do you have capacity available? How do I reserve space - what is needed to set up miners?

Can you host Panda? eBit?

How do you set mining pool?

Do you have anybody as a reference?

Thanks!

Hi,

Unless I update this post that we don't have space any more, you can assume we are still accepting rigs.

Panda and Ebits are fine.

If you decide to go with us, I will request you to deposit 0.01btc for reservation before providing you shipping information. Miner configuration will be requested from you before initial setup.

Hello Tony,

Which wallet to use for reservation - 0.01 BTC?

What is your address?

Thanks!
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ebit e9 miner with 6.8Th/s from Ebang company a new rival for existing producers on: October 06, 2017, 06:39:54 PM
Bought 3 miners - 1 E9+ and 2 E9.

One of E9s was defective out of the box - problems with catching on network, and then hashing at 50%.

After few days of communicating with Ivy they admitted it is defective. I can send it for repair - at my expense. Why do I have to pay for their QA fault?

I agree that it might be good to have a competitor to Bitmain, however this competitor should be competitive, and should not make customers to pay for their own flaws

I never had out of the box problems with Antminers, so I will stick to them now. Ebang - I tried...

I was asked by Dominique from Innosilicon to share my experience.

I have 3rd batch miners, were very unstable with original v2.0.1

After I got v2.0.2 from them, it seems relatively stable on mono-coin pool (f2pool)

Miners tend to die (completely disappear) on switching pools - work for ~12 h on prohashing, then I have to reboot as they disappear from network.

Probably overheating, but it is hard to say - I can not watch then all the time.

If somebody managed to get them stable on prohashing - could you please share settings?

I will probably try them on nicehash - original firmware would not work there at all, did not try new one.

Will watch this thread closely

I have them stable on prohashing for almost 24hours.

2hr avg hashrate: 277.98 MH/s

Speed: 1200Mhz
mV: 820
Diff: 8192

my best at PH has been about 48-72hrs

I will update again after the weekend Smiley

Prohashing - 12h so far.

Hashrate fluctuates between 200MH/s and 300MH/s

Voltage set at 810.

Temperature of boards - 64 degrees. Seems overheating, I guess...

Miners are in a cold room, and it is winter now. I can not put them in a freezer...  Huh

What temperature is deemed as normal? I read before somebody says miners run at 40? How is that possible?

Mine are jumping to 60 almost right away.
