Sporting is vastly superior to all the other teams. They have won every game played so far except for a draw against Famalicao. I really think they will stay on the podium until the end, and as for the first position, I really suppose they will keep that as well.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 28, 2020, 09:47:16 PM
Against Alavés, I don't think Atlético Madrid will have many problems. They have won all the last games by tearing their opponents, except for Real. In my opinion they will play just as well but I prefer not to have too many expectations, otherwise I'll bring bad luck.

Yes, Alaves can't possibly pose much of a threat from the look of things but then Athletico Madrid isn't exactly the kinda team that always come through when you think they should. However, Atlético is currently tie at the top of the La Liga table with Real Madrid so I expect them to get all 3 points and extend their lead on the table. I'm glad to see them contesting for the title this season as both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been poor this season.

That's right, I'm glad to see them playing like that too. Either way, I really hope all teams can give it their best shot, despite the crazy year we and they are having. For me, Atletico will still be in first place, but you know how it is, anything can happen.

I was really shocked when I saw the first half score of LA Clippers-Dallas Mavericks game (27-77). I really can't believe how the hell the first half ended like that. The result of the match had not too much difference too. Dallas won 124-73. I am curious about whether this game was rigged or not.  Grin

We'll see what the next few games have in store for us. Either way, I was amazed myself during the first half. Among other things, it was really absurd to see the score grow like that. I didn't expect it.  I hope it doesn't happen again because I almost had a heart attack watching it.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 28, 2020, 09:29:21 PM
Is anyone even considering the possibility of a win by Logan Paul? Or do you guys think that there is not even a 0.0001% chance of that happening? Floyd Mayweather retired from professional boxing many years ago and he is no longer training regularly.
Even though Floyd Mayweather is retired he follows a strict routine and from what i heard he never used alcohol during his professional career nor used any other recreational drugs even though he portraits a different image on television. He might not be training hard for a professional bout but he is training to maintain his health.

So I would assume that there is a remote chance that Paul may land some of his shots on the right position.... well.. even for me it sounds ridiculous.. If Paul manages to beat Mayweather, it will be the greatest boxing upset of all time.
In a fight game there is always a chance for the opponent even if you are the best in the business but that does not mean that it will be the biggest upsets in boxing history as it is just an exhibition bout.

Same thing I said. Even if he no longer competes professionally, the training routine to preserve his health should not be interrupted.  Also, Floyd comes from years of training that are certainly not thrown away in the chance of a new fight.

Sao Paulo has been showing signs of weakness lately. I hope that in the next game against Gremio they will not play tricks on us, although they performed quite well yesterday. I hope they can show how strong they are, despite the difficulties.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Super League (ISL) Football match updates, predictions and discussions on: December 28, 2020, 09:10:13 PM
Mumbai City started the tournament poorly, but managed to assert themselves in the last few games. Against the Blasters I don't think they'll have much trouble winning, while against Bengaluru they'll have to try not to get beaten since they've been playing pretty well lately too, despite the last two results.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 28, 2020, 09:02:55 PM
Haven't meet one, but i have lot of friends who loves to gamble but turned out to have a miserable life in the end. What my perspective if you're living through gambling, i think everyday is living at the edge for you. That path maybe full of hardships and loss, i can't imagine how one can feed their family through that lifestyle.
I'm of the same mind as you. As long as it's gambling as a hobby, fine. If you can give yourself a cap to gamble, but in the meantime you've already stabilized your life through another business, then it's more than doable. But if it's just supporting yourself on that alone, like you said, I have a hard time seeing a family there.

I was really excited about Everton-Manchester City match. But unfortunately, it was postponed due to a high increase in coronavirus cases at Manchester City. I hope the players get well in a short time and we can enjoy watching this match.
don't worry. Unfortunately, that's how it has gone for many teams. Several matches could not be played because of the pandemic, also many players from various teams could not play because they were positive. We just have to arm ourselves with a lot of patience for now.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 28, 2020, 08:25:54 PM
I thought Milan would do better against Lazio. They've been pretty steady with the points lately and they still can't breathe a sigh of relief that they're guaranteed to stay in first place at all times. Undoubtedly they are not playing bad, but they have to try to aim higher.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 28, 2020, 08:16:13 PM
I am really excited about the next season and I believe that the competition between the teams will be bigger than this season. I think that the number one team will be Mercedes again. But in my opinion, Red Bull will be closer to them with Verstappen and Perez. Vettel made a great move by going to Aston Martin. I think that he will be closer to his old days there. Ferrari look like they will continue having performance problems next season too. But I believe that there will be a huge competition between Leclerc and Sainz. Ricciardo made wonderful things at Renault and I believe that he can do better at McLaren.

I hope the 2021 season is different from 2020 and it seems that all options are there. Red Bull, which finally has two competitive drivers to put pressure on Hamilton, Fernando Alonso's return to Formula 1, I just hope that Vettel, changing team, will again have the will to win, because if Aston Martin manages to give him a competitive car like this year, it could win races. In my opinion it will be really fun, we will not always have the usual podium, with two Mercedes and Verstappe

it's been a crazy year this one, with some tragedies avoided miraculously and drivers who couldn't compete because of the pandemic issue. Surely next season will be a little more stable, and I hope that important drivers, like you said, will come to compete. It would be a more unique podium than last season.

There was a match between Kayserispor and Konyaspor yesterday. Kayserispor didn't get a win for seven matches in the league before this match. They were really so close to winning here. They scored the first goal of the match. But they got a red card after that and tried to defend and secure the win. But Konyaspor did whatever they can and scored 2 goals in the last minutes and managed to win.

The Pelé of the situation could always pop up, don't be sad. Of course, it would be nice to be able to find players that particularly stand out, but unfortunately for now we have to settle for that. There is always the possibility that some new young player will appear, who knows?

The possibility that Logan could win is always there. The question is a different one. Despite the fact that, as you said, Floyd is being out of shape, in my opinion the chance that Logan can win against someone who had professional training in the past, is very minimal.

Paris Saint-Germain shredded Strasbourg without too many problems the other night. I am absolutely certain that against Saint-étienne they will bring home a similar, if not better, result. I just hope I don't jinx it. I'll try to say 4-1 for them.

So sad that he did not Even reach the retirement Age of a Normal Person in which 60 years old.

Rest In Peace" The Goat"
The police searched the house of Maradona's doctor. He has been accused of manslaughter. Honestly, in my opinion it is wrong to always have to look for the culprit, even if it seems absurd that such a murder can be staged. We hope that the truth will come out as soon as possible
if this is true then there must be something behind the death?

Not much is currently known as the investigation is still ongoing. It has been almost a month since they began investigating on Dr. Luque. They seized his phone and computer and it turned out that him and Maradona had some arguments before. We are awaiting for the results, although I am of the opinion that it was a natural death.

17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 21, 2020, 09:41:17 PM
Indeed. But still, perhaps, the government needs to focus on gambling addiction and build a rehabilitation center for the addicted person to gambling. At the same time, the government needs to focus and to try to handle the crimes too. Some people use the money from committing crimes for gambling, but we don't know how many of them. It really needs hard work from the government to control the crime of growth rate.

It seems to me that governments need first of all to raise the standard of living of the population in the country, so that people do not rely on gambling as the only way to get rich. Then fewer citizens will gamble for the purpose of earning money. Governments should also create special zones where you can build a casino and control it. Here are the initial steps that should reduce the number of playing citizens.
Governments by nature are reactive, they are never going to face a problem until it becomes big enough for them to notice so while they do not like the fact that people become addicted to gambling they love the money that they get from taxes and are very reluctant to spend that money in order to try to help the people that lost everything due to their addiction, so they prefer to turn a blind eye hoping that the problem resolves itself even if they know that never is going to happen.

It's kind of like selling cigarettes and alcohol at a low price that everyone can afford. The government makes a profit on these things and as long as the money comes in, and there are no major scandals, they continue to leave things unchanged. In this case the work that needs to be done is enormous, but certainly until a pious soul comes along, or until some noteworthy episode occurs, no one will move a finger.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 21, 2020, 09:24:51 PM
Chelsea lost two games in a row and stay behind in standing. They need to grab 3 points tonight. Bookmakers show them as favorite, I see 1.45 odds for Chelsea.
Chelsea never lose three games in a row since 2015. They should make a come back today and win. West Ham won last 2 games they meet each other but Chelsea won't let that happen again.
Few minutes before the end of the first half and Chelsea is leading with 1 goal. Such result is not reassuring, Chelsea has to score at least one more goal to avoid bad surprises especially at the end..

I honestly would have thought for a better result from Chelsea. If they want to keep their position they necessarily need to score more points. 1-0 is too little to be able to rejoice, they need to wake up because otherwise all it takes is a stroke of bad luck to go back to the bottom.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 21, 2020, 09:16:10 PM
Atalanta-Roma match was really worth watching it. Roma started the match very quickly and scored in the first minutes. After the first half ended, I thought that Roma weren't going to lose this match most probably. But Atalanta made a remarkable come back and scored 4 goals in the second half and succeeded in winning 4-1.

It was actually very compelling. Atalanta played an exceptional game against Roma. The ball possession was very similar but despite that there were a lot of good goals. I can safely say that both teams did a great job. Certainly on the 23rd both will have no difficulty beating their opponents.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 21, 2020, 09:00:08 PM
I can't wait to see what Real Sociedad will do against Atletico Madrid on the 22nd. It's a match that I think will give us many surprises. Despite the fact that Real's last few games have gone pretty bad, I don't think they'll give up easily.

Real Sociedad had an excellent season start but things went down the hill pretty fast. They didn't get a single win in last 8 matches.
I see Atletico Madrid as favorite here, with an appalling 2.05 odds. Under 2.5 goals is another option but their odds are not that attractive. Suarez is also in form, I don't want to bet against him.

It is true but still hope is the last to die. I think they could do a good job in spite of everything. Regardless of the goals they will make or suffer. Real Sociedad must wake up soon if they don't want to lose the third position in a short time.
