.... and just keep your Nxt wallet open and online, you are forging! Forging is making the Nxt network stable and decentralized. When you are lucky, you will be able to generate a block and you will earn all the fee inside that block

Sounds great but uehhh.....no mining software and / or hardware.....just the wallet?!?!
 Huh

Mining of Bitcoin is concentrated by big farms. We can only mine altcoins. We are searching for the next mineable/profitable all the time. 99.99% altcons do not have long life expectancy

What do people think of NXT coin?

Thanks Jawitech, did add --no-submit-stale (whatever that means)

Was thinking on how to calculate an average profit calc...but all i get is a big loss as soon as power costs are deducted

Hope i'm doing this all wrong...  Shocked

Zeus Blizzard miner 1,4 MH/s gives 0,00041736 bitcoin in pool per 24 hours X 85 Watt miner+computer = 2 KWH power per 24 hours average

2kwh = 0,45 Euro
0,00041736 bitcoin = 0,11 Euro

seems like a big loss...

Okay thanks, that's very useful...  Smiley

Will it be the same for CGminer or other miners?

Something like:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o SERVER:PORT -u USER.WORKER -p PASSWORD -S opencl:noauto -S zus:all --set zus:chips=6 --set zus:clock=328 --set zus:ignore_golden_nonce=1 --no-submit-stale

at the moment i use:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o SERVER:PORT -u ADDRESS -p PASSWORD --zeus-chips 6 --zeus-clock 328

About:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654039.0

It all runs great on Win7 (with CGminer with zeus support) but who knows about working software drivers for:

1) Network Attached Storage (NAS)

2) Android (samsung galaxy)

Just want to know if it's possible to connect the Blizzard to a tablet or smartphone or NAS

Second question:
What does the configuration options: --nocheck-golden --ltc-debug --nocheck-scrypt do exactly? Do you need to put it in your startbat.bat?

Thanks :-)
