There are also other CC, that would add value
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Will btc be the largest online currency used in future? on: November 05, 2015, 06:42:38 PM
Along with PM's, BTC/ crypto will most likely be the future of money.  It is the best option available for a fiat dominated world.  Nothing else i've seen  comes close to a sensible option
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: October 28, 2015, 06:30:57 PM
not controlled by someone comparing to dollar.

If no one will give not dollars in front of Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin will result 0,
and there are many ways to control exchange markets or putting posess of Bitcoin illegal.

The free market will always trump the PTB.  Their systems of control are failing.

Currency isn't the same as sound money.  Until that is changed, there will be problems with economics.  CC could be the replacement money system.  What other system would come close to ease, security, and robustness?  People can't be trusted to control the issuance of any form of fiat currency.

The email used take over my account was traced to btce.  I don't like their non-transparency.

How shady are they.  My social and email accounts were hacked by someone from btce.  Or the email they hacked with was from btce.   Be warned...

IT does happen, often*.  It only works with ltc to btc.  The coins are sitting on the ltc block, in a btc address with 10 confirmation. Unfortunately multisig addresses both start with a 3. Bitfinex uses multi-sig deposit addresses. This is needs to be changed by the devs.  It is an issue with the ltc client. Tongue

What does the txid refer to?

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / sent to Wrong address on: July 14, 2015, 11:17:07 PM
Hi,

I sent litecoin to a btc address at bitfinex on accident. It was not rejected.  I can see it sitting there on the ltc explorer. Is there a simple solution to this problem.

thanks

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #GreeceBitcoinDrop on: June 30, 2015, 03:19:03 AM
Trying to build a community by giving away free shit just attracts trashy folks.

Look at DOGE.

People need to earn their wealth to give a shit about the whole.
This it the sad truth. People are not value things they receive for free. Donating BTC to these 'notable twitch' personalities could create impression that Bitcoin is currency of low status, no value and bitcoin fanatics are desperately trying to promote it by giving it away. Also I am wondering, how much will they gonna 'donate'? $5? Please...

Those are generalizations.

What good would it do?   There in the hole trillions.  More than the market cap.  Better to donate to charity, or someone who appreciates it.

Decentralized exchanges. Coinffeine.com is promising.  End the Gox era.

Have you heard of Bitsquare?

Do they support API?  I think coinffeine does.  No more interruptions.

WTF.  That is poorly thought out.. ^???
17  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is BitLicense A Good Thing? on: June 26, 2015, 04:13:19 AM
What do you think of it? Do you believe in such thing as BitLicense?

The regulatory environment is basically a mirror of the collective consciousness. Any and all regulation is a product of fear. Thus, there is a fear of bitcoin prevalent in society. So I think BitLicense can be solved by educating the public, since educating the public will reduce fear.

The fear only stems from the very  few who stand to lose their control.  Aka, the gov.  More education is also needed.
