2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Bitcoin news aggregator on: November 06, 2014, 02:16:37 PM
Hi

I have a few news aggregator apps on the windows/ios stores and thought it might be useful to have a Bitcoin one as well.  To start with here are the raw feeds that I have produced.

RSS
http://www.thirdprize.org/AltCoin.xml

As a list
http://www.thirdprize.org/Rss/AltCoinViewer

As a tag cloud
http://www.thirdprize.org/Rss/AltCoinTagCloud

Have I missed any good feeds?  It has all the big ones in there.  Still have to sort out the icons for the various sources.

Shaun

Hey dude you done a great job..thanks for sharing it here....and can you do some more if possible...
3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Fund A BitcoinTalk Rap on: November 06, 2014, 02:10:18 PM
Me and my brother came up with the idea to help fund him for his first car. We said, we're going to make a rap about bitcointalk! The idea here is, we're going to make the rap only after funds have been raised. The thing is, only donators will be able to hear the rap.

The minimum we ask for you to donate to hear the final product, is $5 at the time of posting (0.01). Donations of higher amounts are always welcome.

If you donate .1 or more, you get a shoutout in the song, and your bitcointalk name somewhere in it.

If you donate .2 or more, you can name the song, and post it on YouTube and share it with the Internet.

Our Goal: 1BTC
Funds: 1Rap2SVyo1ZAazNyHZXD3cTjFfN6npLvp

If the community decides they want to use a trusted user as escrow, we will allow that.

Right now I'm choosing which beat to use. If you have a nice free beat, let me know. I don't plan on a hook/chorus.

Cool!! go for it dude! and spending time reading this is definitely great!
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of user anush3070 on: November 06, 2014, 02:02:58 PM
Just a warning to everyone.  I started to work with anush3070 and was promised a 48 hour turnaround for a couple of coins.  It's been exactly 1 month and day after day I am told that he needs just 48 hours more.  He met a milestone halfway into the project so I made the big mistake of paying him partially .8 BTC for his work.  Another week has passed with no further work to show for it.  I asked him for a refund because he was a month passed his promise date and he said he doesn't have it, it's all spent.  Now he is apparently having power issues and can't talk.

This is my fault for paying him but just wanted to warn everyone.  I am out almost $500 with nothing to show for it.  Again, my fault but just wanted to put the warning out.
