3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mt Gox BTC withdrawal problem? on: August 31, 2011, 02:02:28 PM
It seems the minimum transaction is 0.01 indeed, I tried to withdraw a smaller amount than that. Okay, thanks.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Mt Gox BTC withdrawal problem? on: August 30, 2011, 08:22:42 PM
Is there some issue with withdrawing BTC from Mt Gox? Or is not possible to withdraw < 1 BTC amounts?

If I try to withdraw to a bitcoin address it gives the error: Invalid amount or not enough bitcoins in your account

Even though I do have enough bitcoins in my account (and no open orders).

Mt.Gox redeemable $ or BTC is fine too. And to make it a little more attractive let's say you can buy the 950 PED for $90 or about 8.2 BTC at the current prices. That's 5% off the fair price! ;-)

As always caveat emptor. However that gets a bit difficult with a currency which purpose is precisely to have as much anonymousity as possible.

A man asks a magician "do you own any bit-coins?".

"Why ofcourse!" answers the magician.

The magician then proceeds as following: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LirXgjuhqNQ

I doubt whether these rules are really that effective, but oh well. Making 5 posts isn't that much trouble either. Smiley
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: August 22, 2011, 01:44:49 PM
Wallet security seems like one of the more major problems for the general population to use BitCoins, especially considering the unability to recover stolen BitCoins. It seems like Credit Card Fraud squared, if BitCoins were to become really popular.

Although, from a purely theoretical view (and one that most hardcore BitCoin users would oppose), it might be possible to create a central institute then, which could oversee which BitCoins are "legit" and which are reported "stolen".

Hi, I'm the BitCoin Duke. It's a shame I hadn't heard earlier about BitCoins, as it immediately striked me as an interesting and promising concept.
