OK new problem. I deleted the wallet after I saved it, then redownloaded it, and the new address doesn't match the old address....is there any way to recover the old wallet that I backed up?

Hello,
I've tried transferring my RubyCoin from one computer to another via the wallets. On the other computer (this one) it's getting stuck on an abandoned block, I've tried redownloading it. The trade shows as going through on the other computer, but this one isn't updating so that it can receive the transaction. Help please?
Forcing the wallets to rescan should bring them up to date. Rescan what? How would I do this? - Navigate to the data folder Windows: Start > Run > %AppData% > Rubycoin_v2 OSX: ~/Library/Application Support/Rubycoin_v2 Linux: ~/.rubycoin_v2 - Create rubycoin.conf (if using Windows, make sure it's not hiding the extension) - Add "rescan=1" and save - Start wallet - If it worked, remove rubycoin.conf to prevent rescanning each time the wallet starts. How would I create the new file, I'm a dummy, need to be walked through this. And kinda need to sell this Ruby soon.

Would I copy and save it as rubycoin.conf, or create a new file, if so, how do I do that?

Is there anyone else mining here...I would love to get this first block done. Not to mention that if a few of us mine there, it will be bigger rewards. But then again, maybe I'm naive.

Thank you everyone for the advice. I will be trying the one at a time thing. Also, Yes, I know they're not worth that much, but this is a hobby and I'm testing the waters (so to say). In a couple months, I will be upgrading, but right now I have to hide things from my hubby most of the time. P.S. I'm a woman...not a sir, but thank you sir for sticking up for me!!

OK. So I've tried everywhere. First off please don't tell me that my miners are junk...it's all I could afford right now. Second...I've got 4 Asicminer Block Erupters and 1 Antminer u2 (?). Yes, they're plugged into a powered USB with a fan on them. I've tried bfgminer AND cgminer and can't get either of them to work. I've followed the instructions that i've been able to find...which is few and far between and old. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Also, when I do get the cgminer (i think) to run, it says that they're too slow to be an icarus and calibrating, but then I get nothing. I see that they're working, but that they're not totally connecting. I have class today so it will be a while before I can respond again...but I do appreciate anyone willing to help me and provide some guidance! Thanks in Advance!
