Are the price manipulators even trying? The market has been doing completely random shit lately. It's like it's not even about money anymore. They are just trolling everybody for lulz at this point.

No one wants to comment the price and the fact that we're pushing this fucking red cliff hard? The cliff guy is probably behind the pump too.
So.. the Chinese New Year is over on Monday and the rumor is the Chinese will start buying like mad when they return from their vacation.
Does that mean we will pump until Monday and then dump?
So, this is the triangle we are looking at now. Will it break down? Bitstamp:

The dump was stopped by the Stampline (and the previous $430 level). We will probably follow the Stampline for a while. Bitstamp: wow that's escalated quickly, up $20 within a few hours, can anyone here to explain the reason? Someone could be trying to prop the price up. Huobi: And it probably involves lent money (even if it started before all the money was lent). Bitfinex USD swaps: It seems I was right. The pump just delayed the dump. (Though we didn't actually go below the previous price level, so maybe it's too soon for me to gloat.) Huobi:

Bitfinex USD swaps: "Someone could be trying to prop the price up."what It looked likely to drop soon. So you would make a big buy in the hope of stopping that from happening. I don't know if that was the reason for the pump, though.

Strong uptrend, we going we will break out above 460 soon. Or test $360.

I wouldn't say so. This whole rally began, because the downwardly lines were broken and the traders have been chasing their upwardly lines since. Until now, at least...
No. 'This whole rally' began because a bunch of Chinese gamblers/exchange owners got together to fleece some starry-eyed idiots. Idiots who wanted to make money in their pajamas and stick it to daddy The Man at the same time. With no education. With zero understanding of economics. Vulnerable, susceptible idiots just asking to get raped. Repeatedly. That might be true, but even so the manipulators definitely capitalized on the whole "the downtrend broke, it's safe to buy now" thing.

None of it makes any sense. The lines giveth and the lines taketh away. But mostly, it taketh away. I wouldn't say so. This whole rally began, because the downwardly lines were broken and the traders have been chasing their upwardly lines since. Until now, at least... Did you know suicide rate goes up during the winter holidays? It does. In no small part, I must add, thanks to bitcoin And I don't know what to say... If one doesn't want to kill oneself, one shouldn't invest in bitcoins, I guess.

Does anyone has a clue by now why the Chinese dumped en masse yesterday? Charts and lines and shit. OKCoin: None of it makes any sense. The lines giveth and the lines taketh away.

So.. next we will go up slowly? And then we crash? And then we will go up slowly? And then we crash?
Did this dump come out of the blue or did you guys all call it?
(I was expecting something like this, but not right now.)
btc it's going to $450, then chineses will dump Actually $475. You must have got an old memo or something.
So, what's the deal with this? exchanges can arrange with large investors to buy at specific prices or nothing to see here move along I think you can place asks below bids on Bitfinex, but I don't know why anyone would want to, unless it confuses the bots or something.

When it raise it always got to sharp. Where are the bears when you need them? Waiting to dump at the top, duh!

TA is very helpful when you know XXK bitcoin is gana be bought or sold. Yes, because it's then likely to bounce back to the trendline. edit: And for the manipulator it's useful, because they'll know how much they need to move the market to freak everyone out.
If the market is rigged TA is useless, except perhaps for the market riggers, who can paint whatever pretty picture they want with the price moves, including dragging TA-'sensitive' bots up, down and sideways, like bulls being led by a nose-ring ... in which case it is more rigged than you imagine. That's exactly as rigged as I imagine. ITS NOT RIGGED! bitcoin is meant to have manipulators sometimes there are more active manipulators then there are fish, who cares. bitcoin has value because its fun to hit buy/sell with a small 50K, program bots to keep the candle up or down for you.. anything goes, it doesn't make sense to regulate market trader activity; is it illegal to wast 1million dollars to trigger stop loses and sell into them? My point was that the manipulators are definitely aware of TA.
