1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CANN]Cannabis Coin Pre-Mine Transparency Discussion on: January 09, 2015, 12:25:58 AM
This is almost as bad as the Paycoin/Jeff Garza pre-mine scandal.  Dev still tries to brush this under the rug?  What a joke.  Can't believe this coin has any market cap with 7 million coins still outstanding.

yeah its seriously sick. i feel bad for the newcomers that dont know the whole story

Word will get out.  It's the blockchain, it will tell the story for the rest of time.  I'm surprised these devs haven't given up and started over at this point.  How do you get past a scandal like this which is provable in the blockchain.

Nomination for the worst shitcoin of 2014: CANN aka Cannabiscoin.  It has lost -2300% of value since October 2014 after their artificial price-pegging scheme.  One dollar invested in CANN then is worth less than a nickel today. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cannabiscoin/

Oh, In addition the dev was also caught hiding 20 million pre-mined coins and tried to cover it up.  See here for details:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829975.180

Posting this here since CANN felt the need to delete this post and lock down the thread in response to it:

Help me understand something...

Rather than answer the questions about a grow, a grow which is paramount to this entire idea of CANN=1 gram..  Rather than answer that question, you joyfully spend time attacking the person asking it.  This is especially shady considering the Paycoin pegging scandal and all of the mistrust in the altcoin community right now.

Consider this: Since October 2014 CannabisCoins have depreciated in value -2300%, yes they have lost 23x their value since that photo-op event and promotion campaign.

Many people have been burned financially or lost their fortunes, and yet the dev team can't share even basic details about the status of the next CANNdy harvest? All we get is nondescript statements about trichomes and sativa strains in Panama which frankly sound like they are coming from people who are pretending to have knowledge of cannabis horticulture.

I don't see how Hum-Vee's are relevant and bragging about other businesses when your job is to provide enough cannabis to supply 1 gram per coin.  How are you planning on providing supply the millions of cannabiscoins out there with an LED grow?  LED's are not considered in the industry to be nearly comparable to HPS/MH in terms of commercial yields.  Furthermore I would like to know details about what type medium and/or nutrient ratios you are using that ensures the quality of your "CANNdy" as you call it (which is a terrible name for a medicinal strain, but that's neither here nor there).

All of these ad hominem attacks and banning/deleting posts make it increasingly seem like you are engaging in some sleight of hand here.

I'll post this here since it was deleted from the main thread.

In case of inquiring minds - MyEcheck Inc (OTCMKTS:MYEC) mjPay Might be a Winner

So, I got in contact with Kenneth Martin (info@mj-pay.com) from Greenpay LLC, which is the developer of http://mj-pay.com/ mobile applications.

I asked him if he was involved with CannabisCoin and he said:

Quote
This is not us, GreenPay has nothing to do with crypto currency .... MJ-Pay is our mobile app, view mj-Pay.com

So I asked him if he knew of this theoretical CannabisCoin MjPay:

Quote
GreenPay is a wholly owned subsidiary of Myecheck,  created solely to bring transparency to the money flow in the legal marijuana industry. Our mobile app is MJ-PAY.... Theirs looks to be branded as MJPay,  no hyphen... confusing at best... ours works with legitimate Banks and banking

Therefore, we must conclude that CannabisCoin has no relationship with this company or trademarked product

You can research MJ-Pay and Greenpay LLC:
