Hello, Crypto Next launched the CXC coin in July, here is our original announcement: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=697203.0It's a fee token that is already in use on our platform. For anyone with concerns about Crypto Cash register, here is the conversation we had with them on Twitter when they launched their coin. When judging an exchange platform, what are the most important security measures that you look for before you feel you can trust it?

It's a pretty cool concept, and free to attend, but whether it will work in practice, we will see tomorrow.
We are presenting there, by live feed or video, and have a "virtual stand" complete with suited avatars that walk around the conference. Really curious to see how this will work...

Aside from whether or not this is a desirable outcome, what is required to make bitcoin mainstream in our opinion is two things; regulation and access. With all the question marks around taxation, licensing and financial regulation, it is difficult to adopt bitcoin into the mainstream, both in terms of practicality and public image. Secondly, if all merchants accepted bitcoin and all fiat currencies were easily traded with bitcoin, it would be a totally different discussion that we are having here.

The Spanish treasury just issued a ruling that bitcoin based gambling sites need to obtain licences, saying: "Ultimately, the bitcoin is a convertible virtual currency that can be exchanged between users and, likewise, be converted into dollars, euros, or other currencies both real and virtual. In consideration of the previously explained, the activity of betting with bitcoins is considered to be included within the definition of bets, it is therefore mandatory to obtain the general betting license and the corresponding singular license."
