We've decided that returning it will get us nothing. Opening it might get us mining. So we opened it.

It contains a card that greatly resembles the one in this posting, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=560034.0 and http://youtu.be/vr281yTrCVY. The card was poorly mounted in a generic case. Included was a power supply, CPU water cooler and a RaspberryPi. The Pi won't boot. It gives a "HashFast" splash screen. I can't read the file system off of the SD on my MacBook.

I've pulled the components out and mounted them on a scrap piece of plywood. I've built a minimal CentOS virtual machine and compiled the latest CGMiner on with with HashFast support.

Tomorrow we'll try it out.

We ordered a FastHash unit 50 weeks ago. We complained to the State of Missouri last spring. We did not sign up for the Bitcoin refund. A couple days ago I did give the Wood Law Firm contact information. However, today, we got a box. We haven't opened it yet. There is discussion about rejecting the shipment.

Has anyone else had a delivery from them? Does the thing work?
