Elliot Wave theory suggests that movements in prices are essentially a fractal pattern which repeats itself on different scales of time.

The trick is know where in the wave you are.

Just noticed what looks like automated buying and selling:

The bot is buying 0.01 every transaction

Surely this would just lead to being eaten away by the commission...

unless...

the bot is run by mtgox = no commission

or perhaps

it is the bitcoinica bot and can afford to do it because the spread there is wider than the commission.

Better than the original!

Good work.

So fascinating to watch this market take off.

The market is so thin at the moment: one mass sell off and it's down to 0.0001 one big purchase (say 1000 BTC or folks start to pull their lower sell orders) and it's 0.05 and on it's way to 0.1. I don't think any more than that is likely to hold.

With Ruxum starting SLC trades on the 1st of Sept and the possibility of a SLC/USD exchange i think things going to be pretty interesting for the next week.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / The mini-rig has got to go (sale) on: August 25, 2011, 08:01:37 PM
Not so classy to make this my first post, but it's no time for classiness.

I'm moving house and my girl has said that if i bring my little rig with us she isn't coming.

So...I'm selling it.
