1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't like the idea of governments holding millions of Bitcoins. on: August 01, 2024, 02:47:54 PM
Well, I can understand you, but most of the Bitcoin is still in the hands of the individual holders, and I hope it will stay that way. If we start becoming a minority - then there will be a reason to panic.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The number of Bitcoin and other crypto ATMs has kept increasing this year. on: July 03, 2024, 03:18:54 PM
Even though Bitcoin ATMs is bad in everything, but surprisingly the demand is high, if the demand isn't high, why these people want to invest their money to build Bitcoin ATMs, isn't?

If people want to trade without KYC, it can be done using ATMs, but using decentralized exchange or No KYC P2P is much better, you will get better rate, lower fees and you don't have to go outside.

I feel like Bitcoin ATMs is only to get experience like using bank ATMs.

I still don't really get it. I mean, there are a lot more disadvantages to using ATMs. Are people really that dumb or ignorant? There has to be something else.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EXODUS ETH STAKING on: June 25, 2024, 12:04:21 PM
You better ask the Exodus support team about that, I don't think that anyone here knows if it will ever be possible.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best assset in investment return 8 years in last 11 years on: June 12, 2024, 07:11:33 AM
Visualized: Bitcoin Returns vs. Major Asset Classes

The graphics from the article clearly shows this fact. It's very impressive that Bitcoin is a best investment asset in most of last 11 years from 2013 to 2023, it appears on the top in 8 years. With 3 years it does not appear on top of the list, we can see these years are bearish years for Bitcoin market.

The yearly candles chart show these three years in red as visually bearish years.

How is the 21 million bitcoin cap defined and enforced can help new Bitcoin investors to understand about Bitcoin total supply, new supply in future till 2104, and have more proper investment strategy from purchase to take profit.

We'll see how it goes until 2030, I hope BTC will keep up with the title "the best-performing asset".
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Degens on: June 09, 2024, 10:11:12 AM
Are there any real degens on this forum? Because every thread I see seems to be filled with philosophers or people obsessed with stable coins.

I'm asking because I've launched my own token, $SURFER, and I'm hoping someone wants to join the project.

I'm planning to do a big buy-back & burn event in a few days, so it's a chance for someone to buy and make a profit...

So, I'm asking...

are there any degens here?

Here are the links to buy $SURFER:

Looking for degens to join your project sounds a bit funny and insulting if someone wants to join it. And it doesn't seem like people are obsessed with stablecoins,
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you start investing in bitcoin because of some celebrity ? on: May 15, 2024, 09:29:41 AM
I bought BTC in OWNR wallet for the first time because I thought that I should try it, I didn't do that because of some celebrity or influencer. I didn't even know any crypto influencers back then, and it wasn't too popular among celebrities anyway.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Research crypto exchanges on: May 04, 2024, 12:49:52 PM
What is the actual point of that? I mean, if that's your hobby, why are you sharing it all here?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin is fungible? on: April 24, 2024, 12:51:08 PM
Of course it's fungible. I don't know why is that even a question. The whole NFT market was created to be "non-fungible" because coins and tokens are fungible, just like Bitcoin.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing into pepe coin at this time a wise decision? on: April 20, 2024, 07:11:35 PM
I don't think that it's a good idea. Not sure if it will reach its ATH again. Just as with any memecoin, it's a high risk.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my shib for litecoin on: April 03, 2024, 09:05:24 AM
LTC is a good coin, and selling SHIB for it seems like a good choice. I don't think that it has a too bright future, but there is a chance.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a scam on: March 27, 2024, 07:56:20 AM
Well, yeah, you just said that we all know, but I can't that it's a bad post. We just can't change what others think. Well, most of them at least.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: March 15, 2024, 04:26:18 AM
El Salvador moved more than 5,000 BTC to a cold storage wallet worth about $400 million dollars.

El Salvador started buying the first bitcoins as treasury assets in 2021. They said they would buy at least one bitcoin per day and they have maintained that streak. When El Salvador first started buying bitcoins, one bitcoin was worth around $52,000. But currently the price of Bitcoin has increased and touched $73 thousand which is the highest price ever.

"We have decided to transfer a large portion of our bitcoins to a cold storage wallet and store that cold wallet in a vault within our national territory," You can call it our first bitcoin piggy bank. El Salvador's president, Naib Buckley, said on his Twitter.

That was a good move. Took them long enough, but still. Also, it says that they moved a large portion to the cold wallet. Why not all?
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Interested to learning on: February 23, 2024, 08:39:05 AM
If you want a piece of advice you need to be more specific. What are you trying to accomplish? Do you know the basics? Why are you interested in Bitcoin in the first place?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do coins with no use case value so high in the Market? on: February 11, 2024, 08:25:43 AM
Marketing, that's all I think. 99% of memecoins are useless, but people are buying them for some reason.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: February 03, 2024, 01:34:48 PM
Because most people want to trade coins, or just buy and hold them to sell at a greater price. Privacy and technology are for enthusiasts, not for the masses. It has always been like that.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Can Explain What This Guy is Saying About Bitcoin On Reddit? on: January 27, 2024, 01:59:12 AM
The guy is just lying, or lucky, Brute force doesn't really work with seed phrases. And I don't understand why he is trying to do it by himself; if he's interested in it he can use some program to try those combinations.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in meme coins is worthy or not? on: January 18, 2024, 12:15:38 PM
You can expect good things by investing in meme coin for long term. However investing in meme coins has a high degree of risk. In order to invest in Meme Coin, you must accept the risk. You should invest an amount of money in meme coin, so that if your investment is lost, you can bear it. But investing in meme coins you have to think about long term employment. Because the value of Bitcoin is increasing day by day, when Bitcoin Coin can create a good position in the cripto market, it will definitely get a good profit from Meme Coin.
I don't know whether investing in meme coins in the long term is a good thing, but before investing, make sure you use money that you are ready to lose, because the risk in investing in meme coins in the long term is very large. Even though many have benefited from it, that doesn't mean it's good.
I don't think that investing in meme coins is a good thing, but I also understand that the potential profits from meme coins are very large. I just suggest that if you want to invest in meme coins, use money that really doesn't affect your main finances.

Memecoins don't work in the long term. You can invest in them and make something in a few months, but the longer you keep the more dangerous it becomes.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if authorities launch a tax for owning bitcoin? on: January 14, 2024, 04:42:02 PM
I think you can easily buy BTC on a P2P exchange and keep it in a non-custodial wallet, how can anyone track if you're holding any BTC if you're discreet enough?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually think a Bitcoin ETF will be accepted this month? on: January 04, 2024, 06:30:12 AM
I'm sure that the final decision will be this month. Don't know if it will be approved or not, but most likely it will. Will be interesting to see how BTC and the world will react.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 28, 2023, 08:19:39 AM
That's funny how the dude says that $2K is not enough to invest in Bitcoin when others just invest $50 or so every month and feel good about that. It's all about perspective and state of mind.
