1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Problems with unconfirmed / cancelled transactions on: July 20, 2016, 07:40:30 PM
I tried to spend coins (from Bitcoin Core) but they were never confirmed after two days. One transaction went to the app on my phone.

So I was forced to reset or restore (-zapwallettxes) any unspent coins back to my Bitcoin Core wallet. After doing so, the two transactions were removed and the balance was restored. Great.

Now, I tried to reset (3 times) the Bitcoin Wallet Android App but the non-existent transaction still show up on the list, screwing up the total balance. When I try to look up the transaction, it give the error message like "not found / doesn't exist". I noticed there isn't a way to split up the total balance into confirmed - available / unconfirmed - pending like Bitcoin Core. I have no way of knowing the actual total balance.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 16, 2015, 01:25:27 AM
When I first found bitcoin, it was just play money (no value). Had some fun trading for bits. Paid nothing for them. A year or 2 later, the value went up to a dollar (1 bitcoin = 1 usd). Then another 1 or 2 years, imagine my shock when I heard the news about bitcoin. I was like, "Wait, don't I know this 'bitcoin'?". I went digging in my computer files and found the bitcoin folder with the wallet. I was shocked at how many bits I have collected.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would you buy Japanese Chocolate With Crypto-Coins? on: April 02, 2014, 06:47:33 PM
There are some Asian markets here in USA do have foods shipped from Japan and elsewhere. Of course, not all foods are available like Kit Kats (I got green tea kit kat from hmart), and mt dew cheetos which I bought on eBay (shipped from Japan). I also buy from Japan Country store at Epcot *Disney* whenever I'm there like ramune. Anythings that can melt, I only buy during cool-cold months.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Fiverr Denies Bitcoin Related Gigs (How Ridiculous Is This!) on: February 27, 2014, 05:50:39 PM
I remember seeing a fiverr clone accepting bitcoin weeks ago. I don't remember the name.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People actually thought bitcoin was dead because of MtGox? on: February 26, 2014, 04:13:50 PM
When people think of bitcoin (if they don't do research or know well enough), they think of mtgox.
6  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: MIT students subpoenaed Re: cpuminer supported AdBlocker on: February 20, 2014, 02:06:48 AM
As a university student intending on publishing a cryptocurrency related research project, articles like this worry me dearly.  Why do so many in the world think cryptocurrency is a crime?
Because some are using it to do crimes. That give gov'ts excuse to go after anyone who use it.

10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin XBT - Exodus from BTC to XBT? on: December 14, 2013, 03:31:41 AM
Seeing that there is few comments or interests here, changing to XBT isn't happening. Everywhere I go, I see BTC.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multi Cryptocoin Payment Processing [Coin List Vote #3] on: December 10, 2013, 05:37:51 PM
InfiniteCoin, IFC, should be added to the Cryptocoin Payment list.  Due to its mass exposure on Ebay, IFC may well be reaching name recognition equal to or surpassing LiteCoin.
Without a doubt due to its mass minting early on in its mining life cycle, billions more InfiniteCoin are in the hands of many more people than any other coin on the market creating a huge potential consumer base. The Chinese buy IFC night and day in mass amounts and also are greatly contributing to IFC's market cap and potential world wide consumer recognition status. PLease get IFC on your list and into play in the merchant market as soon as possible.

IFC is already supported. https://www.coinpayments.net/index.php?cmd=supported_coins

Please check the list of supported coins before you ask.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Is it possible to transfer wallet between phone and pc? on: December 09, 2013, 04:16:02 PM
Can I move/copy the wallet from my PC via USB transfer to the Android Phone?

When I'm away somewhere, I want to somehow continue to receive or send bitcoins. I can't bring the PC with me lol.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kickstarter might add Bitcoin as a payment option in the future. on: December 09, 2013, 03:36:42 AM
I doubt Kickstarter would accept Bitcoin. What if a project fail or turned out to be a scam? How do people get their bitcoins back?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Multi Cryptocoin Payment Processing [20+ coins][Public Beta] on: December 09, 2013, 01:10:48 AM
I'm seeing in the source code that whoever run this forum somehow disable image animating and give reason "FORUM: disabled on this page for security".

If you go directly to the image host url, they do animate.
16  Local / 한국어 (Korean) / Paris Baguette on: December 08, 2013, 06:21:38 PM
I heard the news about Paris Baguette accepting bitcoin. http://blogs.wsj.com/korearealtime/2013/12/03/bitcoin-changes-hands-in-south-korea/
Is it a single Paris Baguette franchise or the whole Paris Baguette (Korea and Intl')?

I been to Paris Baguette many times when I was in Korea last year. There is one recently opened not far from here (East USA).

20  Economy / Marketplace / Re: MyBitcoin_SCI on: February 01, 2011, 09:58:35 PM
Hey, I started a wiki page about MyBitcoin SCI. I was hoping to collaborate together on information on how to use MyBitcoin SCI.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/MyBitcoin_SCI

Looking at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/MyBitcoin_SCI - Table of Keys & Values.
It would be good idea add actual keys as shown below.

Code:
amount
currency
payee_bcaddr
note
baggage
payee_name
success_url
cancel_url
and so on....

Anyone know 'SCI Payer' and 'SCI Transaction Number'? My automatic download store won't process orders without transaction/batch #.
