MDMA suggested something interesting today which we'll most likely implement. He recommended we move PVP to the main channel but allow users to turn PVP mode on or off. Leaving it off would ignore all PVP's. Leaving it on would let you see PVP's over a certain amount along with challenges. I'd like to remove PVP and merge it with main chat as soon as possible as it is currently dead content as a stand-alone.
Sounds fantastic, the pvp chat is usually completely empty and I like the idea of it being merged. Cause then you have to go to pvp and ask them to post there to challenge, doesn't really make sense
It is one of the best and very interesting idea will help to increase more activities and also increase games playing ratios on 1 on 1 challenge type.

Yup certainly looks like a good idea. Not sure about how many people usually play PVP though for large amounts.
I have seen many who are wiling to pvp for 0.01BTC and more. The only person whom I had seen who was ready to bet 0.1BTC on pvp was xchg. Don't know how much you mean by large amounts, but there are quite a few people interested in pvp.
I think the big issue isnt the lack of ppl willing to pvp for large amounts, so much as the lack of easily available ooponents, takes time to organsize a pvp when going against the system is a click away. Needs to be more accessible, honestly a pvp ready up and let opponents "join" the pvp may be more ideal.

the biggest issue would be finding the players that willing to bet the same amount of bet as us, actually this can be solved by putting up different chatroom for the bet amount, less than 0.001, 0.001-0.1, 0.1 and above
three of this gap chatroom that is setparated can help with this but stunna probably will be merging them with the main chat soon
The amount for players who can bet big is usually just "hey ill bet as much as anyone will take", the better solution would be letting players que up a bet up to X value, and then players who want to bet can accept a portion of that bet. Example I put up a 5m bet 10 ppl could bet 500k on that.

Id agree with this, main chat pvp would be nice provided the results didnt get spammy.

LOL THis has been happenin for ages. Basically kids abusing the free faucet for their own personal gain. Its good that the faucet at least has CAPTCHA!
Stunna already said that he will be locking those accounts for a moment now.
Also, the feature of getting blocked on tip will be there when you get muted. This willl make it easy for the mods to keep a check on faucet abusers.
yeah they were very annoying, mod's needed anti-tip spam powers

I don't enjoy playing at primedice anymore because of all these issues its having.
lol issues?, surely you jest been hardly any issues at all. The very few they have had arent that bad cconsidering the amount of players.

Can't access the site but this is temporary issue but Prime Dice should take it seriously this is happening after every few days . Stunna should find some permanent solution to keep the site up around the clock.
You say that like this happens alot, its not common. Besides alot of "games" have weekly scheduled downtime and maintenece.....primedice is pretty much always up except for a couple minor hiccups.

This appears to be a legitimate issue that could cause major ones for people who aren't aware of how the problem is working.  hui noticed it with his bets as well and brought it up in chat, and I realized the same issue was happening to me yesterday.

Laid out theoretically here..

Say I deposit .1 BTC and the first roll I do is .05 BTC and nothing happens in the window.  No confirmed bet, no balance change, nothing; so I assume the roll didn't go through.  Hit the roll button a second time and the same thing happens.  Balance still shows .1 BTC.  Hit the roll button a third time and now it tells me "Insufficient Balance."  Refresh the window, and sure enough the bets DID go through as loses, it just didn't show me what properly happened because of a bad gateway.

Understand what's happening here?  Not quite another nonce-gate, but if we're clicking the "BET" button and nothing shows up as going through, NOTHING damn well better go through or else our planned bets on a win or loss are out the window.

A retroactive fix then, for anybody else this happens to.  If you roll the dice and nothing shows as happening, refresh your window to be sure the bet didn't actually go through like you'd intended.

Hoping the current downtime is fixing the issue.

yes exactly, thank you for discussing the problem,
but again i think stunna must change the faucet or the autobet policy or prohibit using scripts.
I'm not sure what you would hope to accomplish by changing any of that up, the faucets have already been plenty nerfed.(perhaps too much imo, thankfully im over 1btc wagered so doesnt bother me anymore)

Id love to see them address the issues specifically but there are plenty of unofficial solutions to problems like this.... a custom bot for example, could make it check the server to verify the client balance and the actual balance match(for instance) before sending out anymore bets.

i lost 0.15 due to rolling problems and lag, now the site is down Sad
Not sure how lagg can cause you to lose but indeed the site is down.

i was rolling 0.02 bet but nothing happened and my balance didnt change , so i pressed the roll button again many times hope to response but after i closed my browser and reopened i see that i lost nearly 0.14  Sad
you said it yourself that you hit the roll button over and over so they were legit bets :O

yes but my balance didnt show that when i was rolling until i reopened the browser
i know the situation but support and more importantly will tell you a bet is a bet
If you would have won their would be no thread post saying please take some away Smiley

it sucks but i do have to agree with steve it could have gone either way, could have just as easily won that much. Best to take extra precautions when wagering that much at once and not assume its not accepting your bets, a refresh would have told you something was up.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: March 04, 2015, 06:39:40 PM
Site is down indeed.

However, on the withdrawal limit, I disagree.
The reason I think they took it is because they have a faucet. They want to chase people away who are there for the faucets. 3 times a *2 win and leave is not a way for a company to make good betting money. They are not there for the too small fishes.

However, if you insert just 1 dollar and bet wisely, it's not too hard to make some serious profit quickly. And that's when the withdrawal limit is quite fine.
Yeah they have gone to great lengths to prevent faucet abuse, but the min withdraw is pretty small imo, 100k sato isn't much, especially compared to alot of the gambling sites that wont let you withdraw less then 1m sato.

Thanks for your bot!! I needed a bot that could have the setting where the basebet could not go over a certain amount. I'm using it right now Thanks! You might know me, I'm marcoserbank
Glad you like it but its not really meant to be a fully functional bot, just as a guide to making your own. ^.^
Be sure to check back every so often i will add more advanced versions of it as i find the time.

And of course i know you marcoser, your as much of a pd junkie as i am  Grin

I'm getting a shit load of 429s.
Slow down there fella and increase the speed setting... to something like 1000.

Or maybe primedice is just lagging...Not that it matters it still makes the bets despite any such errors.

I tried up to 3500, it stills fails to make proper betting, but the website is experiencing some problems, even automatic better doesn't work properly.
Its only part 2 of the tutorial just bare minimum interaction, it should be betting fine but you wont see new bets show up in your "my bets" unless you refresh the page.(If it doesn't work still id sugguest switching to firefox, as its the only browser i concern myself with while coding it)

Greetings, for me it was fairly difficult to find botting resources so i've decided to make a tutorial, this is a WIP so ill add more as i find the time.
for starters....

the bare minimum for a bet:
http://pastebin.com/NSkLxGt9

....more tomorrow when I'm less drunk..

whats the difference on PD's current bot?
ugh arent you quick to reply, let a fellow sober up ffs, anyways its the bare min in javascript...future tutorials(aka tomorrow) will give more relevant examples on usuage. Pd's current bot likes to freeze up, custom bots wont stop if done right, also can be done to more specific details.

Greetings, for me it was fairly difficult to find botting resources so i've decided to make a tutorial, this is a WIP so ill add more as i find the time.
for starters....

Part 1: the bare minimum for a bet
http://pastebin.com/NSkLxGt9
Part 2: Interactive Bot
http://pastebin.com/ZNyAnzBj
Part 3: Stat Displays/Saving Stats( and a couple of other tiny features)

Side Lessons:
Mass Tip Script -

Register account and set password -

Sorry took a bit longer then expected to find the time to do part 3.

....more to come, when I'm less busy.

I personally find it easier to learn from well documented easy to read source codes then from normal tutorials.
So I've decided to take this approach, These are not meant to be complete bots for you to use, just to be outlines
on making your own. I'll be working on different aspects of this as i find time, but if theres something specific you would like me to
cover... please don't hesitate to ask.
