You may use my routing/account number next time.

You changed from SHA256 to MD5.

Your Trust string looks like this:

md5("[[1,0,0,0,1],[0,1,0,1,1],[1,0,1,1,0],[0,1,0,0,0],[0,0,1,0,0]] 6194c0e2ffb667fa41385e16d9fb010b")

Due to weaknesses in MD5, it is entirely possible to fudge the array (on the left) and quickly compliment the arbitrary string (on the right) to generate a colliding MD5.

If you are going to continue using MD5, I recommend replacing the long arbitrary string with a sequence of 3 common dictionary words that maintains a strong entropy but makes colliding MD5 values nay impossible.

I'm willing to back active development in two areas.

1) A thin client / server blockchain standard.

That is, a single remote machine worries about the blockchain, and clients can request balances off of it (sacrificing anonymity), and interact directly with this server for transactions.  The wallet can be stored on either their mobile device (for servers that are run by external entities, like MtGox), or can be stored on the server (for servers that are run at home).

I don't care about actual server/client implementation so much as a defined protocol set and working libraries, open license.

2) Super Blocks.  An advancement in the storage of the block chain, whereby the block chain (ledger) is processed for addresses that still hold a positive balance, and the ledger becomes closed and cryptographically archived such that ALL clients can securely depend on a simple cryptographic hash of the whole Super Block.  The culled addresses with balances begin a new Super Block.

This way, new clients may download the entire block chain, but would not have to hash every transaction in the old Super Blocks, as they are known by all to be accurate and trustworthy by a simple file hash.  Only the transactions in the current Super Block block-chain would have to be articulately hashed.  This would also allow for optical storage and transfer of Super Blocks to be distributed on DVD or Blu-Ray instead of internet download, such as for Merchant POS terminals and servers.

I will fund 5 BTC, to each, given the active development of these projects, once they have established a name for themselves and their work in the IRC Bitcoin community.

Wow, I just spent 5 minutes on a thread looking for the reply button, only to recall "oh yeah, this is the site with the newbie post restriction." :S

Well lets see.  My IRC handle is Raccoon.  Been using Bitcoins for a year now.  gribble is good people.  And I'd rather not have to post 5 nonsense posts in the sandbox to play on the monkey bars.

But in honor of MLK day, I'll leave you with these musings...

The question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be... The nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists. -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Have we not come to such an impasse in the modern world that we must love our enemies - or else? The chain reaction of evil - hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars - must be broken, or else we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation. -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law. -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The means by which we live have outdistanced the ends for which we live. Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men. -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
