OK Vertans  Sorry for my english, im not the best... My RIG whit 5 R9 280X ASUS DCU2 and Sapphire VaporX works now! Not so fast, but running @ Low energy and Cool  All Cards by 65° @ 40% Fan Speed! System: Windows 8.1 64 bit on SSD Driver Catalyst 15.7.1 not Beta... I put the amdocl.dll File from AMD Catalyst 14.4 driver, direct to the Miner folder! Find here: C:\AMD\AMD-Catalyst-14.4-64Bit-Win8.1-Win8-Win7-WHQL-Aug\Packages\Drivers\Display\WB6A_INF\B171094\amdocl.dll For all People that have Problem to Start the Miner! HW Error`s or what else... Please set gpu-threads to "2" i d`ont now why, but more work not! Intesity not tooo high, i have testet 17-19, but 19 is Limit! I'm using a .bin created with 14.4 drivers but I had to update to 15.7.1, now is working without HW errors and an R9 280X.
Jeah! Same here! I work whit the new AMD Driver and hashrate is now better! Edit: I put the amdocl.dll file from catalyst 14.4 direct to de miner folder, and it works whit my ASUS 290X DCU2 whitout HW Errors i have 6 Mh/s whit 850 Mhz GPU to 1250 Mem clock... |

stratum+tcp://pool.verters.com:3333 dedicated pre-fork lyra2re2 port
All shares submitted will be attributed to user accounts. This port will be joined by port 4444 after the fork. But if you want to test your setup, port 3333 is now setup for the lyra2rev2 algo.
Nice! Work! Naaaa let`s Test a bit EDIT: I have found a BUG in the new sgminer whit Lyra2REv2 Support for AMD Cards, whit Catalyst 14.9 or higher, i have only HW`errors when i start mining...can confirm that someone?!? Whit 14.4 or lower no Prob. |

I need more optimization  Ok, after install the 14.9 Driver i get 6 Mh/s whit my ASUS 290X DCU2 whats your gpu-engine&mem speed? 1250MHz for the mem (since it doesn't take anything else) 1030MHz core (default clock on the msi gaming) Thanks! I would also encourage anyone to test the miners... now rather than waiting after the launch to discover something isn't working...
I have testet the sgminer on my System whit a ASUS R9 290X the miner give my a : fatal JSON ERROR in configuration file configuration file can not be used hmm whats wrong?!? My config file sgminer.conf: { "pools": [ { "url": "***", "user": "***", "pass": "***" } ], probably that... json error are connection problems, meaning you have problem to either connecting to the "*****" pool or wallet no it's much easier, just remove the comma at the end :-D "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin", <==== THIS ONE } Nice!!! it works THX pallas The Miner give my 2.5 Mh/s whit my config... good or not?!? Sys: Win 7 64bit AMD Catalyst 13.12 <===beter update 14.6 or 14.9?!? |

Please help, is a new vertcoin miner working with w7 64bit? I cannot configure it to work, tried at least 20 combinations, different configuration from this forum, none of them are working... I'm using: sgminer-v5-Lyra2RE-RC1-WIN32 with this in my bat file: setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 sgminer.exe -a lyra2 -o stratum+tcp://pool.verters.com:3333 -u xxx.xxx -p x also tried: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer.exe --kernel Lyra2RE -o stratum+tcp://pool.verters.com:4444 -u hjurcic.2 -p xxx nothing works. When I start my bat file manually from cmd, it says all devices are disabled... Can anyone help? Everything worked fine until change to Lyra2RE.
