Guys, We need to do the marketing and promotion on Bitshare forum. since they like DPOS, they should like XCR as well. Edit - We can start a thread on Bitshares forum - https://bitsharestalk.orgAre you guys using any part of the bitshares toolkit? Well, if you do and if XCR airdrops a percentage of the coins to them (typically 10% to PTS holders and 10% to AGS holders), the bitshares community would love you guys. Good luck to your DPOS upgrade.

PTS Deflationary effect. There is a chart showing the reduction of supply - http://pts.bitsharesblocks.com/supplyWhile bitcoin (approx 10% inflation) and most altcoins go inflationary, PTS is going the opposite direction. A deflationary PTS helps to preserves your PTS investment for the long term and keep the price stable.

I apriciate everyones concern and feedback, but please back off. We all get the point and this discussion is interfering with actual productive R&D.
If we are talking about principles here:
1) PTS should live on and be supported by who ever wants to buy in / share drop to it. 2) BTS should ask for a reasonable recognition (20% or less) share drop in future chains. 3) AGS is what it is. It is just another share drop target. I personally thing PTS should have share dropped 10% on AGS for funding its upgrade and freeing it from mining. 4) I don't want DVS to set any precedents.
Somebody else made the comment. But it is soooo good, I decided to borrow it: Humongous nail in the Alphabar's coffin! And Stan shared his wisdom on his son's comment: The truth is that which approach is best varies with how each person weights the factors that go into in.
BM apparently weighs honoring the toolkit a bit higher. Alphabar weighs keeping the distribution unchanged higher.
Both are noble considerations.
BM sees PTS as another chain that is borrowing toolkit technology to upgrade. Alphabar sees himself as donating his time to help fix something for the community that was broken.
Both are valid perspectives.
All such decisions can be tipped one way or the other by adding just one more little fact or motivation.
That doesn't mean that either side is wrong or evil. We all just weigh the various factors differently.
We need to realize that lots of arguing is not likely to change these weightings. They go deep into each individual's personal beliefs.
Since we aren't likely to change those, we should try to accept the choice of the person who must decide. Otherwise, we are just continuing to pollute our collective swimming pool with no further benefit.
Whether we grow or fade depends on how fresh and clean we keep the water in this swimming pool.

So, 10 % shares of any future DAC's can be expected to be share-dropped for PTS holders, right?
My understanding is 10% of 3rd party DACS, as BTS "paid off" PTS holders a bit ago when it became its own DAC instead of being under the Invictus name. So anythign BTS comes out with will sharedreop on btsx, anything someone else does will sharedrop on angelshares & dpos pts. Invictus has dissolved. Before it dissolved, it has changed its focus from creating multiple DACs into combining and doing only a single superDac, ie BTS. In fact, it has merged all its previous DACs (bitsx, dns and vote) into _this_ Single Dac BTS. Going forward, there would be a series of independent developers interested in sharedroping on PTS eg Rand Paul Coin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=848182.msg9970023#msg9970023. This is an exciting time.

several hunderd sat now, is it dead?
PTS is very much alive, and more than ever. The old PTS coins that you own has now been scaled up approx 567 times. The total PTS supply has reduced, so in fact, it is worth more. Could you please elaborate a bit more about this re-distribution. I could see only the amount of PTS had actually increased to 999 million, but you are saying otherwise. PTS POW (ie OLD PTS) was designed to have a total money supply of 2 millions in about 2 years. At the time of upgrade, a total of 1.76 million PTS was mined. These 1.76 million tokens are scaled up to the new PTS-DPOS supply of 2 billions. The difference (2 millions - 1.76 millions) is the reduction in PTS supply. There is no re-distribution of PTS. If you have 1 OLD PTS, you will get about 567 new PTS (after scaled up to meet the new total supply). Edit: PTS POW has a 1% inflation target. The new PTS DPOS has zero inflation and it may even become deflationary when delegates start using burn-rate ie burning PTS.

You've said 'Rand Paul Money' there but you actually mean you're leaning to 'Ron Paul Money' right? - I'm way more in favour of Ron, so great if that's the case.
Any general timeline in mind? I see PTS is also becoming a no inflation DPOS, so there will be some competition though they don't have plans to try pegged assets at the current time & Ron Paul Money is a stronger brand.
PTS is a zero inflation DPOS but it would become deflationary when delegates start using burn-rate pay. See http://pts.cubeconnex.com/index.php?topic=43.0PTS is complementary to RPCD (RPM?) and other coins based on DPOS. PTS devs are happy to work with and help coin devs who base their coin on the agnostic PTS DPOS and its snapshot.

thanks
How come your fee was only 5 but it going to cost me 25 fee
also how much does it cost to register
PTS minimum tx fee is 5 while the official recommended transaction fee is 25. PTS has zero inflation (in fact, deflation when delegates start to burn their PTS), no donation and reduced total supply when PTS upgraded from 1.0 to 2.0. In other words, delegates are working on their good-will and they are incentivised solely on PTS transaction fees. Please use the recommended fee to thank them for their effort and to encourage them to contribute further.

Does any one still use the #protoshare IRC chat ?
The PTS devs are not using IRC yet. Currently, the fastest way to get to them is to go to http://pts.cubeconnex.com. Do take note that it is transiting to http://ptstalk.org
