1  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for loan for a few days on: February 08, 2025, 11:14:19 PM
.......... But, it's gotten a hole in the tire. I've tried regular plugs, but they just pop out. I'm looking to borrow money to either try mushroom tire plugs(which i have heard work), or get a new tire. They're only $35 and then whatever it costs to have it put on the rim. Id like to try the mushroom plugs first and walmart has a mushroom plug kit. If not, I'd have enough money leftover out of this $60 to replace the tire.
...............................

On a motorcycle, never get a plug. If it's a moped may be worth the risk. Maybe ask for a patch?

Good luck!

Yup. It's a 150cc Scooter. Plug will work for the few days I need it to until I can replace the tire.. No one in my town has any tires that small. So, I have to order one and then have it installed on the thing. I'm curiours about these mushroom plugs if anyones ever used them. Send me a pm and let me know how they work. Are they bigger than normal string type plugs? Because those just pop out of the tire.

But, I've been told that people are going to make a huge deal about me not posting in a while.. So, i'm just going to take the post down because there's not any sense in ruining the rep of my account that i'm sure would be worth 20x what I'm asking to borrow just because people are idiots. Im sure I could sign a message or whatever needed.. But, It's not worth the trouble

This user recently woke up from a long period of inactivity

I've never heard of eBay withholding funds. Are you sure you don't mean PayPal?

Nope.. eBay definitely witholds funds from your sales if you're not selling consistently. It used to not be a problem I had, but I hadn't sold anything on there in like 2 years or something.
2  Economy / Lending / Looking for loan for a few days on: February 08, 2025, 10:30:20 PM
Looking to borrow like $60 until at most this next Friday..
Normally, I tend to avoid doing these things, but I recently got in to selling things online. That has actually been a lot better than expected. However, the problem I have now is Ebay holding my funds. I've had to pay out of pocket to cover all of the orders until the funds are released. What I'm doing is a form of dropshipping. So, I have to cover the cost of the orders until the funds are released. I used to have instant access to the funds, but I haven't sold anything on there in a couple years.

Anyways, to get to the point, my oil pump went out in my truck the other day so what I'm using to get to work is my motorcycle.

I just need it for less than a week. Either when I get paid next Friday, or whenever ebay releases my funds.

I'll repay $70 because I know nobody wants to do this for free.

Thanks guys! You all have always come through for me in the past

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] EPIC - Epic Private Internet Cash | MimbleWimble | Dandelion++ on: May 27, 2020, 07:41:08 PM
Be careful depositing to the BiHODL exchange. I sent a deposit over around $10 worth of RVN over to try and pick up some EPIC and it has just stated that the deposit is in "Reviewing" for a few days now. I have already e-mailed the support and haven't heard anything. Checking Twitter and it seems like I'm not the only one that has had this problem. It's unfortunate because I can't use any of the other exchanges where I live.. I guess I'm just stuck with what I mine. Luckily it was only $10

BiHODL made an announcement they stop being exchange, so you can withdraw your funds no problem, but they change their format to mining and other stuff  Huh Roll Eyes
Just use Vitex or Citex, both good exchanges and Vitex has mobile wallet  Grin
Also both exchanges tracked by CoinMarketCap  Grin

Neither of those exchanges are available in the U.S.
Vitex gives warning about lack of US support but works just fine, including their app which gives you ability to store Epic on your phone (you own the keys) on Android and iOS.
100% tested Vitex in US - for Bitcoin, Ether and Epic Cash.

Nevermind.. Think I may have figured it out. Guess there's no way to transfer from your existing balance in the wallet to their stupid ETH tokens in order to exchange. It seems like you have to resend the coins over.

9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT TRADE WITH Adroitful_one! His account was Compromised! on: May 17, 2020, 10:51:12 PM
I have reset my PC and changed my passwords. As long as the user has logged out, there shouldn't be anymore issues. I'll still leave it in my signature to not do any trades with them for a couple more days.

I have signed a message from my Bitcoin address I have been using for years:

Address: 1GhxHtabWhEpdb7e7oEJ2vd542n33BwTHR
Message: This is Adroitful_One @ Bitcointalk. Verifying I have reset my PC and changed all of my passwords. Thanks Guys!

Here's a link to a post of me joining a signature campaign with this address back in 2016:

10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT TRADE WITH Adroitful_one! His account was Compromised! on: May 17, 2020, 10:24:24 PM
Will do just busy at the moment. He called me and said people are making wierd post under his account redflag! I will update more when I know!

That's a tactic that's been used by hackers and scammers in the past.  Rather than changing the password, which would alert the owner the account has been hacked, they'll leave the settings untouched and just make posts, loan requests, send PMs, and hope the owner of the account doesn't notice.

Luckily they haven't tried to get any loans or make any trades, but it does seem like they're trying to release a new m shadow coin. Probably infected with something. They screwed up because one of the posts got deleted and the only thing I have posted recently is a link to a block chain I uploaded. So, I knew it probably wasn't from that.

I'm resetting my PC just in case and changed my password already. No need for anymore negative trust. It will be resolved within an hour and I'll sign a message from my oldest wallet on here. I'm just worried about not being able to get ahold of some of you to get it removed in a bit.

I agree with the development continuity. I just wonder why the dev left as Magi is/was a good coin in the space.
If anyone can get the code, maybe we can make another team and continue the work.

The source code is linked under the download section of the website.

Here's another up to date blockchain as of last night.. I built a new PC and started mining XMG again with the new CPU. Needed to setup the wallet again on the Raspberry Pi to stake. Figured it would be useful to someone else.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will hit all Time high(ATH)? on: February 14, 2020, 08:31:37 AM
Just stop calling it this year that's all. I think it will happen, crypto is due another parabola and it's just a matter of when. I would say this year is still way too early, but we wait and see. It also won't just happen to every token anymore. The days of entire altcoin market moon is gone and will never come again but for the boys like ETH, this will not be the end.

I think we're almost definitely going to start seeing the bull run come in to play this year. More than likely what will happen is this year we'll see a good run up to around $20k Bitcoin price then a little bit of pullback. But, I think the market will really start to take off next year and that's when we'll see new all time highs on everything. Hopefully it will last throughout this entire year and the next.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will hit all Time high(ATH)? on: February 08, 2020, 02:32:37 PM
As predicted, there has been a recent rise in price. This is also predicted to continue on into next year. There is a very good chance we'll see a new all time high on ETH again. With the Bitcoin halving coming up, what looks to be a big bull run, and the ETH updates, I think it's a no brainer that we'll hit a new all time high.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: February 06, 2020, 10:29:17 AM
The top performing coin of the year is probably going to be one we haven't even heard of yet or very few of us have ever heard of. More than likely, that is what is going to get you your best returns. The problem is trying to figure out which one it will be. I'm sure a new project will come out this year and offer some new and exciting features and the community will be all over it.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Electroneum on: February 04, 2020, 06:12:06 AM
tell me have potential in Elecrtoneum (ETN)?

I sold all my 5000 Electroneum with a small profit and I'm glad I did because look at the price now, it's not even 1 cent so many people shill this coin that it will reach $5 in the future, but it didn't even reach $1 and I don't think it will ever reach $5 like what experts are predicting, but it still has potential in the market now bull run is happening.

I sold mine as soon as i notice the price keep plunging down, i barely got some profit from it, i bought mine during ico together with a friend of mine,
to be honest i was also having high hopes for this project, etn was very popular project back in 2017, lots of expectations but for some reason things did not go as expected,
It will be a wast to time to hope etn will ever get to $1 let alone $5,
the team lost the opportunity to make etn valuable with too many delays, they couldn't make use of all the hype surrounding etn at that period, now better project already taken over.

It's still a fun little project. Even to this day, I keep a miner or two mining ETN on the phone. I think this is the cause for the dumps. There's just too many people mining ETN with their phones and too much of it coming into the market everyday. It's just too easy to setup a couple old phones to mine a little extra ETN for you and leave them be. You only have to check them once a week.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto Should I Invest In 2020 ? on: February 03, 2020, 07:50:30 AM
I would invest in BTC. It's pretty apparent that we're about to be entering into some major bull territory coming over the next few months. It's probably your safest bet and if you really want to, you could cash out whatever profits you get from BTC and invest into other coins. More than likely everyone else will be taking their profits from BTC and looking for other projects to invest in and you got a pretty good chance of making a little bit of extra money from that.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin & Its Momentum on: February 02, 2020, 06:18:46 AM
At least it is not $9.6k anymore and dropped a bit so we can call it a correction, we are still around the resistance tho. Anyone thinks we will ever have a hard time about the resistance? It doesn't really look like the resistance will ever be a problem and we will move higher to me but I wouldn't call myself an expert on the subject so maybe I am wrong.

There are tons of so called experts (none of which I trust, they might be correct but doesn't mean I trust them) keep saying bitcoin will have amazing year, every day some other one comes up and says the same thing. I just believe that if we all think bitcoin will go up, if experts do think like that, if everyone agrees on it, that kinda means it should actually go up shouldn't it? That is kinda the whole system how markets work in the end?

The way I look at it is like, who cares? If Bitcoin does drop down below $9k again, that would just be a good thing and give people a chance to buy in again at that price. We all pretty much agree that all signs are pointing to a pretty massive bull run coming up. So a little dip in price shouldn't really hurt anything in the long run. If it dips down again, buy whatever you can at that price. You may not get another opportunity to.
20  Economy / Services / Re: 100 bitcoins rewards for cracking my bitcoine password on: February 01, 2020, 02:18:24 AM
If this is indeed your wallet after someone will crack or find the password you agree to send wallet.dat to a trusted escrow and Escrow will send 100 bitcoin to the cracker and also will hold their fee for this service?

First of all, this won't ever be cracked. Secondly, if it ever were to be, I'm sure the person who cracked it would just go ahead and take the 100 BTC out of the wallet before sending the password back to OP. If not just go ahead and keep the whole thing since it will probably be worth trillions by the time it's cracked. If you don't know anything about the password and it's several characters long, you may as well forget about it.
