1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: October 19, 2013, 10:35:30 PM
I  have a v1.0 M-board. I currently have 2 EOL h-boards and cannot put them in line on the same m-board..
Would anyone be able to fix/mod the one EOL board with the least GH/s so it can play nice with the others? Or Should I just sell the EOL board for cheap?
Also have one brand new V1.0 m-board that I wanted to rid of.
(Didn't want to buy another power supply just for the EOL board.)

Having some trouble here.

I got my kit all started up, The IP is correct, and I can access it using 192.168.1.249.

I have 3 good boards plugged in correctly and one EOL board in the #3 slot. Fans turn on, PSU is on.

I put in all the pool's info correctly, save it, and then press start miner. Script pops up says miner started.

I get 0 gh's . I check the mining pools site, and it is at 0 gh.

What can I do next to rule anything else out? Thanks for your guys help once again...

Hey guys,

I got a my starter kit assembled, fired up, changed the host ip, so I get internet access working.

Forgive my noob situatuon here, but I cannot get cgminer onto the pi, and have been looking around the net for some help to no avail.

Can someone please write out what to type in the lxterminal for linux ? I have my bitcoin wallet, address all set up, and know about that.

I just got lost typing the commands trying to get it to install/fire up cgminer and directed to my wallet.

This is my first rig, so be gentle now.  Wink lol.

Thanks ahead of time for the help, and thanks to Dave for such a great job with the turnaround time!
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Opinion on 3x 5970 on MSI Big Bang Rig Build, Need Help on: September 02, 2011, 05:01:22 PM
Firstly,

Thanks to the members that have posted so much info for us newbies to go to.

I have searched high and low, and just wanted some personal opinions on the most productive rig.

So with power cost not being a issue, I am building an open rack rig,

3x ATI 5970
Motherboard: Big Bang-XPower LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA
I will add one more 5970 later on.

My questions are,
What power supply (or supplies) ?
What CPU is the most efficient for mining on this setup?
Reccomendation on what brand ram and how much ram?
I will run extenders for space/air flow on the rig for the extenders.
I am learning all about linux unbuntu from ya guys and want to have it on a SSD Kingston Thumbdrive.

I am new to this, and truly appreciate you guys helping a new guy out!

Thanks
