1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, true deletable blockchain - V2 protocol active! on: December 27, 2017, 02:32:19 PM
well somebody obviously believes in PASC :-)

Also they are withdrawals again at Poloniex account (86646-64), so it seems to be working again...

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, true deletable blockchain - V2 protocol active! on: December 07, 2017, 06:12:14 AM
is anyone here ever send a ticket to poloniex? How long does the polo support team respond to?  Huh
What's happening. Is the problem with pascal withdraw/Deposit?

At times Poloniex screw up withdrawals. And at times the support is very slow to answer tickets.

EVERY exchange is potencially headache, they can get hacked or "get hacked" or solve your tickets for months... PASC needs something decentralized.

so my question is:Would Atomic swaps be possible with PASC?
https://themerkle.com/viacoin-developers-complete-atomic-swap-with-litecoin/
... Viacoin, Litecoin, Decred, Vertcoin have it...
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining on: July 28, 2017, 09:26:25 AM
multiple blogs with 1 account = no
alternative way = yes
you can buy anonymous Steemit account
     https://anon.steem.network/

Or you can buy new SIM card ;-)

I signed up on Steemit and created my first blog. It is much easier than I thought. I have ideas for two blogs. Is it possible to create multiple blogs with one account or do I need to register a new account for each blog?

If first holds, where can I create a second blog?

If last holds, there is a problem with the cell phone numbers. I do only own one mobile phone and thus I can not register again. Is there an alternative way?

Thanks for update.
All crypto is growing exponentially so these issues are necessary growing pains I'm afraid....
But then again, waiting is compensated more than generously ;-)

Here is some news from Cryptopia support about the Pascallite wallet maintenance:

Quote
I apologize for this delay, the wallet is refusing to sync past a certain block, so our Dev team are now trying to work on an update to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Thanks, Cryptopia Support

Good way of thinking Sir.
Bloated blockchains will be bigger and bigger issue in future, better solve this sooner than later.

BTW: PascalCoin solves this quite splendidly:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1583719.msg19265127#msg19265127

Guys, do yourselves a favour and read their V2 whitepaper. Quite mindblowing, imho :-)

Another HIP for your consideration - HIP002

https://medium.com/@freetrade68/hodlcoin-improvement-proposal-002-adf802d2ccb7

Not urgent by any means, but I wanted to get it out of my head and put it up for discussion.

what's with the price anyway?

https://www.coinexchange.io/market/HODL/BTC

I would like you to consider along with the changes that you proposed, a complete re haul of the coin image, I think that we could make the coin much more professional, appealing and interesting, you know that if it pleases the eye, people will respond more to it, even exchanges..

Yes, I think we need a complete branding overhaul. Maybe even a re-name. I think one of the main reasons we stopped gaining momentum was that Bittrex refused to add the coin, citing the brand. I think we need something more corporatey and boring.

Is there any guarantee that Bittrex would accept a new name? Frankly it was a bullshit reason to deny listing.

Things have moved on a lot and there are no guarantees. But I think Bittrex were direct with us, even if we didn't like the reason.

Not silly at all! :-)

And yes, there is:

Hey guys might be a silly question lol, but is there a Windows wallet for STEEM ??   Huh

Please don't waste your attention on trolls.
You are super smart person  (borderline genius I would say after reading whitepaper 2 :-), I hope you know that and you'll keep bringing the world such a great innovations :-)

i've got another proposal – let's close this thread and create a new one with enabled self-moderation.

then this mofo troll will die of hunger.

we need to hardfork the thread.

I'm agree with you that a moderated thread could be a solution, but I can't moderate it properly because I have not enough time for everything.

fine with me, let's go nuts and vote :-)

Ok, just wanted to remind everyone of HIP001 - HOdlcoin Improvement Proposal 001

Last chance for suggesting modifications or improvements before I put this to the Nutocracy.

I shouldn't have sell BTC at 5 USD  LOL Grin
....  living with these choices is hardest thing about crypto.... One has to learn it though otherwise it just goes to madness.

And 40K is still super cheap, those new functions are a killer stuff :-)

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[Mobile Wallet is now LIVE!] on: June 16, 2017, 12:42:32 AM
ok, thanks for info, looking forward to new PASL features :-)
There is no point of having two identical coins, you're right about that.

Fantastic to hear. I apologize for my ignorance. I did not understand the meaning of whitepaper. I though those were just implemented. Very excited to see the website too. I have also though about how we could freely distribute wallets without abuse. I always see you folks giving them away on the forum. I did purchase my initial wallet on fairpool but since have began mining them. Thanks for the reassurance. I understand all the work is independent. Very impressive we were the first pascal with a mobile wallet. Also, web wallets with help bring investors. Keep up the great work and have wonderful day.

We are not going to stop development. We are just going to do it our way and do it a little differently from PascalCoin. They have their own ideas and so do we.

We are working on many new features but we don't usually want to publish anything until its finished and expected to go live in a few days. We don't want any broken promises.

Yes the website has taken a while. Why it has taken a while is because its considered a minor aspect of the coin. Most of the information is in the thread anyways and we worked on more important issues such as the daemon stability, accounts marketplace ,mobile wallets, protocol update to prevent mining abuse, etc.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[Mobile Wallet is now LIVE!] on: June 14, 2017, 10:12:19 PM
Hello there,

any plans to use features from PASC whitepaper V2?
(those things there are super cool! :-)

Dear users. After months of hard job, and thanks to Herman Shoenfeld, finally today we release the next generation PascalCoin development publishing the WhitePaper V2.
Source code is on testing stage, and will be released in few days.

PascalCoin WhitePaper V2

> Infinite scaling
> Checkpointing
> In-protocol PASA

Read the document:
https://github.com/PascalCoin/PascalCoin/blob/master/PascalCoinWhitePaperV2.pdf

I'm mining with pasl.suprnova.cc, already mined near 60 coins, but still no account. Should it be automatically created? I can't withdraw coins to my wallet without account.
My public key 3GhhborZ2A4GTRhFqH2j8A3XKHF6QAi6nJ2G7F2fVXHmhKMPZxyWSuv89xs4nL5NUP3oDXkJ8PdPT4i 3vQtKVFbyEPGoMofAcVMJPK

I don't know what the required amount is on Suprnova to get an account sent. But i've sent an account for you anyways 57058-29

If you close and re-open your wallet it should show up.

Any ETA on the Pascal Lite website?Smiley

Web site is mostly ready. Working on the graphics now. It will take a few days
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] 5% Interest. No Staking Req. Term Deposits 10%. Solo Mining. on: June 01, 2017, 08:45:32 AM
what usually works:
 - close program
 - go to C:\Users\Your Account Name\AppData\Roaming\HOdlcoin
  - backup your wallet.dat file (=to some other place)
 - delete everythink else there (keep there just wallet.dat)
 - run program

PS: Always keep a few backups of your wallet.dat, everythink else can be re-downloaded

I just found out about the fork because my hodl client was no longer updating the block chain.

After the update from 0.2.0 to 0.3.0 it's still not updating the blockchain !!

Anything I can do ? Are my mined coins lost ??
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] 5% Interest. No Staking Req. Term Deposits 10%. Solo Mining. on: May 28, 2017, 01:34:35 PM
Very good Mister! :-)
What an awesome hodling is coming our way!

Yep, that all appears to have gone well.

In the light of that, I'm going to be publishing HIP001 (HOdlcoin Improvement Proposal 1) shortly - some suggested improvements for HOdlcoin.

I've also decided to suit up. In the wake of the Fluffy Pony debacle, I think HOdl needs to start moving towards a more sober and serious public image. I'll be wearing a suit and referring to everybody as 'Mister' from now on.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[COMING SOON...A NEW WAY TO PASCAL] on: May 08, 2017, 04:15:58 AM
Very cool!
Thanks Adaseb :-)

PascalLite was the first Pascal based Cryptocoin to add Network Adjusted Times (to prevent mining abuse)

It was the first Pascal based Cryptocoin to add a working marketplace to buy and sell accounts

And now PascalLite is the first Pascal based Cryptocoin to introduce a Mobile wallet.

https://wallet.pascallite.com

  • Works with any smartphones. iOS and Android. Including Tablets
  • Works with any operating system. Mac OS X, Linux, Windows with Safari/Chrome/Firefox/Edge based browsers
  • Doesn't send your keys to the network/server. Private key is stored locally on your machine
  • All encryption, transactions forging is done right in the browser
  • Private key is fully importable into the Windows wallet and vice versa

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining on: February 12, 2017, 04:31:16 AM
short answer: read Dan Larimer's blog and think about what you read.
  https://steemit.com/@dantheman

Yeah, it takes time but investing without wide and deep research is just casino :-)

steem keeps going down. Too much selling pressure.
Busy.org is a shame too
originally, I thought Busy.org is better than Steemit. However, after trying Busy.org, I prefer the steemit's interface. Honestly, I don't see much difference between Busy.org and steemit

Can someone tell me why I should buy steem again now?

thank you

yep, this looks very fishy...
also
 - zero transactions during first days
 - diff almost the same until pools joined in today
 - exchange is up several hours and still not a penny sold (miners usually start selling right away)

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/kush/#!overview

There is only one strange thing. Who was mining blocks since 25 January if there was source?!
Or I'm mistaken.. Because 1 comment and another all a week later
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[LAUNCHED!!!!!] on: February 04, 2017, 11:19:32 AM
I take back my previous remarks about shitcoin, sorry about it.
Obviously so far this was at least very usefull experiment (clock time bug) and you are not cheat.
Can evolve into something interesting eventually :-)
Good luck  Smiley

Despite all these bugs and issues, for the last 24 hours the average hashrate was over 200,000 MHS, and since the newer sgminer pool software doesn't work most mine with the earlier 0.2 Pascalminer at an average speed of ~500 MHS.

So there are around 400 GPUs mining this coin currently.

If they were mining any other coin such as ZEC or ETH they could of made ~$500 or so but instead they mined this coin which currently has no value.

Hence for everybody wanting a relaunch you need to consider these legitimate miners who probably put in a total over $1000 worth of hashpower to this coin.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][PASC2]-[PASCAL COIN 2]-[Do you want to see a Pascal clone coin? VOTE!] on: February 01, 2017, 01:19:17 PM
so basically the inovation here will be the word "lite", ok?

which brings us...

Now this is strange... still no shit clone...

Alright I had some free time to play around with the source code and such and basically I will leave the algorithm exactly as is because its very difficult to make it CPU only. I can make some small changes to the algo so you could only wallet cpu mine, but anyone with some basic programming knowledge could easily port the change into the current Pascalminers and GPU mine the coin.

Only way to make it CPU mine only is to use some CPU Prime algo computations that GPUs do poorly like HODLCoin however that's way too advanced for my level of programming because most of the entire coins code would need to be re-written.

As for the name I like "Delphi Coin" and "PascalCoin Lite" so I decided the perfect name would be "PASCAL LITE".

Here is a preview of the wallet.

Also if there are any devs here that understand the Pascal code, how do you create a new genesis block? I tried creating the new block but I keep getting the zero block error when trying to mine the Block 1. Only thing that works is using Pascalcoin Genesis block and continuing on from Block 2.

Another issue is that the daemon doesn't seem to do anything. Seems you can only host a node using the wallet. I got a AWS I can use to host the node however if the coin gets a little larger it would be nice if someone could also host a node or two.

Also for the graphics. I don't have Adobe Photoshop or anything like that. I created the logo in Paint. If someone could hack up a logo it would be nice.

A few messages me asking about Bounties, unfortunately there are none because there is no premine. If you want I can mine 100 block or so before launch and use those to pay for bounties in Pascal Lite coins. Let me know what you think.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XRE] Revolver Coin. Decentralized Reward Platform. on: February 01, 2017, 11:12:29 AM
XRE had no premine, no ICO, so why not, stranger things happened.

Also question is who are those people who hodl XRE: minnows or whales ;-)

I have strong doubts that the XRE will be added to Polo. They add mainly new coins with good potential.
XRE has been around for a long time and most coins already mined and is at the hands of a few people.
