This is funny. When the price goes up everyone starts wondering why and what is making it go up. If you are a real supporter of Monero the price does not matter. If you are a speculator of XMR the only thing that will matter is how high the price will go up and how much you will make in the trade. The people asking why and what is making it go up are maybe the ones who have not bought yet or is not sure if he did the right thing.

Well ofc price always matters Cheesy Even if i've supported monero from the day i heard about(and will keep supporting as long as it's valid) it i'm still an investor seeking profits at the same time. Speculation and reasoning is a natural part of it just like this thread SPECULATION has +1000 pages on it.

I woke up and it's still at a 0.015 level  Shocked Was sure a dump would follow.  Now i'm wondering if i should start buying back moneros even the levels are this high.

Is this just a market frenzy or is there something behind that really back this level to be the "new normal"?

Rpietila/Wise Ones do you still concider 0.01 level to be a realistic dump level? Or is the dump that low anymore possible. Monero has broken pretty much every scenario that i know or am i just looking at this thing on a too short time-frame.

Insane Cheesy the two year wait is over! sold pretty much everything at 0.0067 and 0.015 because the profits were like 300% and almoust 600% Cheesy This rate can't hold forever and i'll buy back with full force as soon as it drops to 0.01ish level. Monero to the stars and beyond or was it bitcoins but w/e Cheesy

crying out loud. i updated my monerogui 0.4 latest and it said it was syncronized and up to date. so i transferred funds and it says it transferred them but it didnt (small amount was unconfirmed). the moneros never reached the target even the address and all are ok. now when i restard monerox it wont load the blockchain beyond 88 days left. I got the wallet backup ofc but still what should i do? discard the monerox? was the transfer done? delete everything and continue with a new GUI?

Yes works awesomely! Thanks mate for your work on this  Grin

Btw, one helpful thingie for us non-computer-pros would be the instructions for a clean-install. what folders and where to delete etc.

The crash log message still says the same. simplewallet was in place and i used it to create a wallet just in case that would help, but no, but this time it allowed me to open the backup while initializing but it still crashed in 2 minutes with the same crash log message.

So good to hear you are back! Tried the new version, gives this as error. opens up as it's supposed to, starts to initialize and in about 2 minutes crashes without any particular reason.

Heya pls help me with this problem.

was using 0.38.1 and it has worked awesomely so far. today i had problems with it, and i've tried to reinstall but it just doesnt launch. you can see in windows task manager the process to start but it ends in 5 secs without anything else happening. i've tried to delete all the old folders and do a "clean install" but still doesn't launch. 39.0 and above launches but seems to initialize a long time. are there other folders to delete beside the appdata/roaming folder and monero client folder? seems like the new install remembers the old paths of the client i had before, how is that possible? if i try to use the backup manager with 39.0 while initializing it crashes the client, tho not a massive surprise.  or what to do  Huh
